cricketmum84 · 30/11/2019 13:00

Morning all! And welcome to the December edition of lose 7lbs!

A huge to welcome to the newbies, long term followers and contributors and the lurkers!

I would dearly love to lose 7lbs in December but accepting that I'm probably going to relax things a little, have some chocolate or some cheese, mulled wine and stollen.

I will still be following ww and 16:8 most days. I'm also going to try stay mostly vegan with the exception of local eggs which I think should help me stay on track!

Stats are:
Dec starting weight: 18.13
Dec target weigh: 18.7
Loss for November: 3lbs
Loss for 2019: 6stone 5lbs

Happy December to all and let's get our festive groove on!

So so good today
Hours turbo
Nothing so no breakfast or anything until lunch at 1pm left over homemade beef stew green beans and 1 small potato on a small plate

How I am still flipping 10.5 stone!? I literally cannot eat less on about 900 a day

lilgreen · 10/12/2019 17:39

B: toasted sourdough, mashed small avocado, tea
L: salad with chickpeas, olives, tbsp hummus, apple
D: 2 egg omelette with cheese and peppers, green beans

lilgreen · 10/12/2019 17:48

@MsTSwift hang in there, surely it’s all just gonna fall off any day now. Well done for not faltering. Could it be that with such a low intake and so much activity that your body is holding on tight to any fat?

lilgreen · 10/12/2019 17:49

I’ve been eating up to 1300 and I’m coming from 10st 4, now 9st 10. I’m not doing more than a daily 40 min dog walk, odd planks and up and down lots in my job.

cricketmum84 · 10/12/2019 18:37

Bad day. Bad baaaaaad day. 2 bags of crisps and some chocolate. Having a naan with my chickpea curry and a huge glass of wine.

Drawing a line and starting again tomorrow. Might not weigh again now until Saturday so I don't get depressed.

Yep, that’s December alright!
I ate a bit of chocolate both at lunch and dinner.
Chalking it up to self-care and moving on.

Ihatesundays · 10/12/2019 19:57

No change (again). Accidentally eaten very little today and I am starving.
Not due to eat until lunchtime tomorrow but think that’s not going to happen....

cricketmum84 · 10/12/2019 21:26

And just had half a millionaires shortbread. Oh crap. What is wrong with me?!?!

Tomorrow is definitely a whole new day!! And it's a bloody good job.

lilgreen · 10/12/2019 21:40

Don’t have it in the house @cricketmum84. Better luck tomorrow Smile

cricketmum84 · 10/12/2019 21:56

@lilgreen haha I don't normally! Naughty naughty DH went to the basket today and brought us all one home.

I suppose at least I cut it in half and gave half to him along with his whole one 😂

cricketmum84 · 10/12/2019 21:56

Basket??? Bakers I mean!

JontyDoggle37 · 11/12/2019 01:13

Haha cricketmum Was wondering where this amazing basket place is!! 😂
I am super proud of myself today. Despite a very full on, hectic day I stuck to plan, only used 600 calories for breakfast and lunch so I had a coffee 1,000 left for Christmas dinner out. I only had one large glass of wine, and only starter and mains - it was getting really late and I needed to travel home from London so I left before dessert. Can’t track the calories for dinner as it was a Lebanese restaurant serving big sharing plates of everything for our table, so no idea of portion size etc. I had quite a bit of the starter dishes so when the main came I felt full and only had about three mouthfuls and left the rest. So I’m as confident as I can be I didn’t go over calories today.
On days like this normally I would have had pastries at the breakfast event, several lattes through the day and two or three glasses of wine plus dessert. Really chuffed!

JontyDoggle37 · 11/12/2019 01:15

Only downside is I got home to DS4 being sick so DH and i have spent the last hour changing bedclothes and pyjamas on repeat. ☹️

DownUdderer · 11/12/2019 02:18

Some great updates to read.

It’s a lot less smoky today, the temperature has dropped. I’m thankful that no one in my little family has asthma, that must be hard to manage with smoke.

The sparkly dress sounds great! We’d love to see a photo!

Koko it’s a new day tomorrow for the people who’ve had a couple of off plan things.

Well done on a busy day and travelling to London and not going crazy with food @jonty sorry to hear there’s a poorly child though.

I can relate to the bra shopping, I’ve lost the buoyancy from my boobs. I’ve bought a few bra’s online and we’ll see if they fit when they arrive.

@MsTSwift maybe you need to eat more? I know it sounds daft, but after I had been advised the same I tried eating more for a day and then lost weight the next day. Or I did a day of only eating eggs and lost the next day! I had three scrambled eggs for lunch and the same for dinner. I didn’t eat eggs for a fortnight after that!

Egghead68 · 11/12/2019 06:00

Crown Grin @7Worfs.

I think we all have days like that @cricketmum84!

77.4kg (0.8kg up on a few days ago). I’m putting it down to constipation. Haven’t been too off-track although I skipped exercise last night as wasn’t feeling great.

Plan: nut roast sandwich, chocolate florentine, fruit, quark, salad. Spinning if I’m feeling better.

KOKO everyone.

cricketmum84 · 11/12/2019 07:15

Well it's a new day and a fresh start. No more rubbish! I'm up a pound but it's to be expected.

Back in the office today which is hard at this time of year as everyone is bringing in treats. Must stick to the fruit bowl!

Plan for today is soup for lunch, will pick one up from Morrison's this morning. Dinner is pasta with vegan pesto and roasted cherry tomatoes.

So glad to hear it's a bit better today @DownUdderer. Still got my fingers crossed for rain for you. Totally agree with your comment to @MsTSwift as well. Installed for morley of October and November until I started eating a bit more and started having pasta and rice again!

Well done @JontyDoggle37 you showed way more self-restraint than me! Hope the little one perks up soon! There is nothing worse than sick bugs :(

Hope everyone has a lovely day!

Ihatesundays · 11/12/2019 07:30

And no change. I’m also constipated which is not like me (I drink gallons).
Christmas meal tomorrow night, luckily it’s early.

MsTSwift · 11/12/2019 07:34

Am up 2 pounds Hmm wtf

Still my clothes are looser and I look so much better people are noticing so I will keep on! Hours turbo no breakfast

JontyDoggle37 · 11/12/2019 07:37

Thanks all, DS stopped throwing up about 4am, so I’ve had at least 90 minutes of sleep! Scales are down again today, must be all the water - 12st 2.9!

Tryingtwo · 11/12/2019 09:30

Hope your little one feels netter soon and that the rest of your family don't get ill Jonty. Congratulations 7Worfs hope the negotiations go well.
Weigh in today and I'm down 4.2 lbs but tbat is for a fortnight. Christmas lunch today, so no breakfast for me. It is a carvery so I plan to go light on the potatoes and heavy on the veg. The problem will be puddings as the restaurant does an absolutely amazing lemon meringue pie with really tart lemon filling which is one of my all time favourites.

Megsmcgoo · 11/12/2019 09:41

Morning all, forgot to check in yesterday 🙄. The 2lb gain from the weekend has gone thankfully and I’ve still got a few days to make a difference before the weekend.

B - 2 poached eggs, bacon and ww bread - 9sp
L - ham and orzo salad with some light mayo - 9sp
D - WW lasagne with either salad or veg - 8sp
Will snack on fruit and advent calendar

Need to go shopping for a Christmas jumper later which is pretty much mandatory for Friday!

Onesmallstep67 · 11/12/2019 09:42

Morning everyone, midweek and not far off mid month. My DD1 is 20 today and we are out for a meal and cocktails this evening ( this is the ultimate upside of having older children, no more manic kids' parties !)

I'm doing my usual bobbling around losing and gaining the same 2 lbs. I was 15st 10lbs this morning. I had 2 mince pies and pizza yesterday. I said something to my DDs and they chimed in unison " it's Christmas !" and new man seems to appreciate my squidgy bits, hope this isn't TMI at breakfast time ( although we have already had updates on constipation Xmas Grin )

7Worfs · 11/12/2019 09:43

Tryingtwo that dessert sounds amazing, sending you strength Xmas Wink

Well I’ve lost 0.1kg finally (took a week), so I’ll take it.

Another big day for me - dental surgery this afternoon, removing a broken bridge, and putting in 4(!) implants... not gonna lie, I’m scared.

Onesmallstep67 · 11/12/2019 09:59

7worfs good luck, that sounds pretty gruesome. I'm sure you are in safe hands and once the anaesthetic licks in you will be fine Flowers

Tryingtwo · 11/12/2019 16:26

7Worfs hope everything goes well this afternoon and that it all heals quickly and as painlessly as possible.
