Morning 🤓 well done on all reported losses.

Same-y report from me - scales slowly moving down.

I tried an old pair of jeans - I managed to squeeze myself in! It was seam-burstingly tight and a lot of stomach fat and skin overflowed, but I zipped up the bastards!

WoollyFoolly · 06/11/2019 11:20

Stick with it @7Worfs, I had exactly the same with an old pair of size 14 jeans from my pre-kids days. First time I tried them on I had a proper spilling-over muffin top. A month later, they fit! Try them on once a week and take photos, it's very motivating to see the difference.

7Worfs · 06/11/2019 11:45

Thanks Woolly I will 💃

MilesJuppIsMyBitch · 06/11/2019 12:00

Morning all! Great to see all the positive posts: very motivating.

I'm struggling this week as am still ill. From bitter experience, I know I won't lose weight until I'm better, so I'm planning to focus on eating nutritiously & swerving the junk.

Have a great day!

cricketmum84 · 06/11/2019 13:40

4 cheesy bites and a small fries from McDonald's. Oops! No tea for me!

OP posts:
WoollyFoolly · 06/11/2019 15:48

I've had pea and ham soup for lunch and planning black bean chilli with baked sweet pots to for tea if I have time to make/eat it. It's one of those ridiculous evenings of running round here there and everywhere trying to ensure all the kids are in the right place at the right time, followed by an evening class for me so there's a very small window of opportunity to eat!

beforeIhit30 · 06/11/2019 17:09

Using clothes fit as a progress checker is good, changes happen beyond the scales. I took a few measurements before I started to compare later on.

Yesterday I had keto pizza and strawberries and cream, lots happened yesterday so just didn’t get time to eat until late in the day.

Today:
B: assortment of chicken, cured meat and some pork belly, little bit of cheese, salad, creamy coffee.
D: not sure I’ll have much as I’m still quite full, so probably will have yoghurt, berries and nuts (or something similar).

Tryingtwo · 06/11/2019 23:54

Weighed myself this morning and 2.4 lbs down this week. I picked a lot on Sunday and it has been difficult to refocus. I feel much more motivated with the loss.

OrangeLola · 07/11/2019 07:00

No weight loss?! I've tried slimfast but it's too sweet for me. Back to the hard grind of food watching.

cricketmum84 · 07/11/2019 07:12

Morning all! Welcome to Day 7.

@OrangeLola I'm not keen on slim fast for the same reason. I also find if I ever lost weight on it then as soon as I went back to actual food all the weight went straight back on.

I know a lot of us are having success with intermittent fasting - maybe worth considering?

My plan for today is:
Am - water and green tea
L - 4 seeded crackers with violife. Small bunch of grapes
D - 2 cauldron sausages, 2 mini Yorkshire's, broccoli and veggie gravy (proper comfort food!)

God only knows what time I'll get home tonight! It's the big Christmas lights switch on in our city and I work right in the city centre... fun fun fun!!

Hope everyone has a lovely day!

Christmas lights?! It's the first week of November! #grinch
Still 12.1 for me here but that's not unusual for me to have a few days the same then a little whoosh.
Off for my flu jab this afternoon -yuck.

cricketmum84 · 07/11/2019 07:26

@WoollyFoolly I am in full on Christmas fairy mode! Even booked tomorrow afternoon off for a trip to the opening day of our German Christmas market 🎅🏻

Morning all

Another good day here yesterday , I am doing 16:8 which is really helping.
I haven't managed to get to the gym this week but I am definitely going at the weekend. I always find the weekends harder as there is no routine so i will need all the help i can get.

More soup for lunch today and I need a plan for dinner.

No christmas in this house until December grinch

Egghead68 · 07/11/2019 08:15

Congratulations on the losses and get well soon to those with lurgy.

71.0kg - the plateau continues.

Plan
B: Toast & PB 300
L: Veg curry 560
S: Berries & quark 240
D: prob roasted cauliflower
No exercise yesterday in the end so must hit the treadmill tonight.

Ihatesundays · 07/11/2019 08:38

74.5kg this morning - urgh. I thought I would be under 70kg by now....

7Worfs · 07/11/2019 08:48

German Christmas market, yes please! 🎄

Fractured night sleep, but managed to do a HIIT this morning. Didn’t eat much yesterday and was craving chocolate by 8pm, but just had a glass of water and went to bed instead.

Nearly 1kg loss in November, so today may be chocolate day - got two Ritter Sport Marzipan in the pantry and they beckon.

Off to a baby Top Tip course shortly - I’m nervous about weaning and putting baby in his own room at 6mo old.

WoollyFoolly · 07/11/2019 10:14

Ah bless you @7Worfs, I remember those days! I don't think I moved mine out of our room until 8-10 months old in the end. My worst sleeper stayed in with me longest because I dreaded the thought of having to get up and feed him instead of being able to stay cosy in bed and feed him! Seems a lifetime away now he's almost a teenager 😬
I'm sticking my fingers in my ears at all this Christmas talk...😝

7Worfs · 07/11/2019 11:29

Woolly I want to keep him with us, but I’m also reading separation anxiety starts to appear at 8-9mo, I don’t know 🤷‍♀️
When it comes to it, if it feels wrong I’ll put him back with us

Egghead68 · 07/11/2019 16:00

Oh god - I'm away for a work weekend with huge rich meals Friday & Sat and out for a birthday lunch Sunday. I think damage limitation is all I can hope for.

PLAN
Friday
B - berries, quark, seeds
L on train - Salad & lowfat crisps
D - celeriac soup, kale & squash macaroni cheese, creme brulee, wine+++ - argh!! I think my only hope is to avoid the bread, fill up on veg and only eat a few mouthfuls of everything else. There are no other veggie options.

Saturday
B- Nuts & coffee 300
S- biscuits, cake (avoid)
L: Wine, buffet type food

7Worfs · 07/11/2019 17:56

Sounds dangerous, eggy Grin
Maybe it will be tiny portions and it will be okay.

WoollyFoolly · 07/11/2019 19:09

It all sounds delicious eggy - good luck!

I indulged in lunch at costa today, so had a mushroom and emmental toastie and chai latte. Will be having a very small tea!

OrangeLola · 07/11/2019 20:35

cricketmum84 - Thank you for your support. The slimfast shakes are not too bad but the snacks are either too sweet or too salty. I've bought some nuts for snacking instead.

I'm going to try the 16:8 fast (eating between 12 and 8pm). I'll have a shake for lunch and healthy fruit/nuts for snacks and also continue to watch what I eat in the evening and see if that helps shift any weight. As with any diet - I'll start tomorrow.

cricketmum84 · 07/11/2019 21:34

Went off plan a little today. I was absolutely starving at 11 and had a cinnamon fibre one cake. Only 80 cals though so not the end of the world. Stuck to my crackers and violife at lunch.

As expected it took an hour to travel the 10 minute journey out of the city centre. Then another hour to get home as two main foods were closed due to flooding. Could not be arsed cooking at that point so ended up with half a vegan roll with half a tin of tomato soup!

orangina · 07/11/2019 21:43

Hello all, could I join in? I know I want to lose 3-5kg, but I haven't really considered how to do it... but it should be helpful logging in here every day for some support if nothing else! I think I might go back to MFP and try to cut the crap and the carbs, and hope that might work..... Smile

Vebrithien · 08/11/2019 06:46

Morning all. Lurking again, but reading along. Still got a head cold and cough, which makes it 5 weeks now. Been taking it easier with the fasting.
Today's weigh-in is 89.5kg (0.5kg down this week). Happy with that, just got to shift the cold now!
Have a good weekend all.
