Thank you woolly My plan tomorrow is to make some soup to take to work the rest of the week.
For now cup a soup will have to do.

Hey my lovelies!

Home after a lovely long weekend away. Didn't track but I really don't think I could have done too much damage as I was pretty well behaved. For fish and chips night I just had a fish with no batter and some peas. Breakfast was all grilled and only one morning. Did lots of swimming and walking. I did have a cheese and pickle sandwich with a few chips on the way home today but it was so huge that that's the only thing I've eaten today.

Weigh in in the morning. Keep everything crossed for me!

So hopped on the scales this morning to find I'm still 19.2! Very happy that I maintained on my long weekend away because I did drink a lot more than usual and had half a Chinese takeaway on the Sunday night! I would usually put about 3-4lbs on from a seaside weekend so I'm happy to be the same.

Plan for today is:

Am - water and green tea
L - some sort of pre pack salad from Morrison's
D - DH and DC want pie and peas so thinking I might bake a piece of cod or haddock and have it with the peas.

Happy 5th November! I just love bonfire night. My 4th favourite night of the year!

Don’t really know what I fancy eating today. Provisional plan:
B: Toast & nut butter 300
L: Salad 350
S: Fruit & quark 260
D: Roast veg, some pakoras 500
Circuits class

7Worfs · 05/11/2019 08:33

Morning, nice one, cricket, relaxing long weekend seems like just what you needed Smile

Did my HIIT this morning, continuing 15:9 which is still giving me good results, scales are moving.

DownUdderer · 05/11/2019 09:09

Hello new people! Hello everyone!

I’ve eaten pretty well the last two days. I had low GI Burgen bread today, I like it toasted so it’s super crunchy. I’ve had a nice long walk.

I’m in a mini plateau.

I don’t think I’ve had enough water the last two days.

I’d say any type of diet can work but sticking to it is the important bit, keep at it for a month at least! And don’t panic about feeling a bit hungry, I drink water if I can and try and think about something else. I’m feeling determined to loose the weight!

MilesJuppIsMyBitch · 05/11/2019 09:44

Morning everyone! Welcome newbies.

I've taken my Halloween costume off now Halloween Grin (and am trying to come up with something terribly witty for Christmas).

Don't think I put my stats on the last post.

I started at 12 st 11 in... erm... July I think? I got to 11 st 9 by the end of October.

I had chemo last year, which (with steroids) caused me to gain 2 & a half stone, & put me into menopause. Well, menostop.

I use 18:6 Monday - Thursday. Breakfast at 9ish, big lunch at 14:30. Like WoollyFoolly I refuse to suffer, so I'm taking it slow and steady.

Have a great day everyone!

Egghead68 · 05/11/2019 13:08

Gone off plan with a lemon muffin for breakfast and a slice of roulade for lunch. No dinner for me and extra burpees at the gym.

7Worfs · 05/11/2019 13:14

Needs must, eggy Grin

I’m very hungry, baby has been napping on me since 11am. Lunch will be my usual -

3 scrambled eggs in a bit of coconut oil
Cottage cheese on top of the eggs to add protein
2 small slices of toasted rye bread topped with smoked salmon
1 tomato
1/2 sweet red pepper

Egghead68 · 05/11/2019 17:53

So what I actually ate was:
B: lemon muffin 380
L: mushroom poke bowl 380
Fruit salad 140
S: green tea roulade ?400
D: A few roasted veg 100
Off to circuits in an hour.

Howlongtillbedtime · 05/11/2019 18:15

Evening all.

A good day here again today and I am now cooking up a storm .
Leek and pot soup for lunches and Nasi Goreng for dinner.
I will do the lentil one over the weekend woolly

I hope everyone else is having a good day.

NowYouListenToMeFella · 05/11/2019 21:29

Evening all. First training session done yesterday. She weighed me at the assessment beforehand. A bit of a shock seeing it in front of me.

Starting at 71.3kg
Daily calories 1600

Breakfast: egg, turkey sausage and 1 slice soda bread
Tea break: 2 rice cakes, 15g of peanut butter on them and fat free yoghurt.
Lunch: 4 falafels, two types of salad and aldi flavoured couscous.
Afternoon snack: banana
Dinner: 3 egg omelette, 4 cherry tomatoes, 30g low fat cheddar.
Evening snack: 40g porridge with one scoop of protein powder mixed in.

1600 calories all in. 4.5 litres of water drank and a 50 minute circuits class.

Ihatesundays · 05/11/2019 22:28

So I’ve had more than a week of illness. Stomach bug and then terrible cold and even though have eaten very little I have put on a kilo!

I’ve been trying to eat less to get out of this plateau I’ve been in - but I ended up giving myself a migraine (too much on top of illness I think).

I feel like I might need something structured again to get everything moving. Can’t do 16:8 with working.....so hard....

Startoftheyear2019 · 05/11/2019 23:35

I'm a week into 16:8 and I'm amazed how good it is. I don't feel hungry at all. I don't miss breakfast and if I feel peckish then I focus on the fact that I can eat at 1pm. Then it's quite easy to eat a reasonable amount and not exceed 1,200 calories. Definitely worth a try!

Egghead68 · 06/11/2019 05:50

Morning

71.2kg again. Plateauing.

Plan
B berries, quark 250
L Going to a restaurant. Prob salads & cake ?800+
D Probably veg soup 300
Spin class or a treadmill jog.

Happy Wednesday everyone!

DownUdderer · 06/11/2019 06:09

I’m in a mini plateau, I’ve eaten well today, I’m having pork chops for dinner with veg. I’ll go out for a walk after dinner.

DownUdderer · 06/11/2019 06:09

I’ve got PMT and I could punch someone!

cricketmum84 · 06/11/2019 06:59

Morning all! Welcome to Day 6!

I stuck to plan yesterday even while working from home (which is when I'm usually a bit less strict) very happy to report my first 1lb loss for the month and am down to 19.1 this morning :)

Plan for today is:
Am - lots of water and a green tea
L - 4 thin crackers with violife, a banana or a satsuma and an alpro protein yoghurt
D - lentil chilli and quinoa

@DownUdderer ouch hormonal rage is tough. Hope you start to feel a bit calmer soon! What about taking a boxercise class or something like that to get the frustrations out?

Howlongtillbedtime · 06/11/2019 07:02

Morning.
I am out tonight at a friends so I need to plan my day well.
I think it will be a day of soup and an evening of wine and soda Grin

Good luck to everyone else for a good day .

Onesmallstep67 · 06/11/2019 07:43

Yay, my scales are telling me this morning that my weight starts with '15' for the first time in probably nearly 20 years ! Hoping I never see '16' again.
Need to crack on now and shift the next 6 lbs to bring me in on target for November.

WoollyFoolly · 06/11/2019 08:49

That's brilliant Onesmallstep, it's such a great feeling to break a stone barrier!

Still on 12.1 here, hoping to get that down to 12.0 by the end of the week.

Loving all the soup love! 😆

cricketmum84 · 06/11/2019 08:58

Fantastic news @Onesmallstep67 :) you should be feeling so proud. Breaking a stone barrier is such a good feeling!

OP posts:
cricketmum84 · 06/11/2019 08:59

@WoollyFoolly I'm at 19.1... lets see who can break the stone barrier first 😂

OP posts:
WoollyFoolly · 06/11/2019 09:19

@cricketmum84, you're on! 😂

Onesmallstep67 · 06/11/2019 09:27

Thank you @WoollyFoolly and @cricketmum84, it certainly is a great feeling to dip below the next stone barrier. It's boosted my mood this morning for definite and has given me the impetus to have a 'good' day. I have another couple of targets I could hit in the next few weeks, under 100kg would be great and 50lbs lost would be the other, both in touching distance if I keep my focus.
The support and encouragement on here is fantastic, it has made a big difference to me over the last couple of months, so thank you to everyone. We've got this Wink
