I really want to loose half a stone this month, I've lost over a stone since May but I've been very lazy recently. This morning I weighed in at 12 stone 6, so I'd like to be under 12 stone before the end on the month. I'm doing Slimming World.

Good luck everyone!

Egghead68 · 01/11/2019 12:30

Have a good holiday @cricketmum84!
My meals are back to front today.

B: sweet potato curry 530
L: cream apple danish & berries 500
D: veg sushi 350
Circuits & spinning if I get home in time.

FlyUpAndDieWitch · 01/11/2019 15:29

Afternoon! Signing in for November.

Only lost two pounds in October, but have lost 16 pounds in the last few months.

Have started the month with a chest infection Sad, so won't start fasting again until it's gone.

Have a lovely weekend everyone.

2018SoFarSoGreat · 01/11/2019 15:59

hello all. Reporting for November duty.

Starting weight May 1 - 201 lbs
Starting weight Oct 1 - 182.5 lbs
Starting weight Nov 1 - 178.6 lbs

182.5 is my body's favorite weight, so having pushed below that (finally!!!) is a big deal for me. I am determined to get down to 170 before Christmas (small goals) as I am no vacation for two weeks mid November, and do not intend to be too good. Shall walk plenty mind you, so may be able to counteract the drinking I shall add to my days.

Good luck losers!

Egghead68 · 01/11/2019 21:46

Saturday plan
B Nut roast sandwich 500
L Edamame salad 400
D Stir-fry 300
S: Fruit salad 140

Egghead68 · 02/11/2019 06:36

71.1kg today which is down slightly.

Good luck today everyone.

Baguetteaboutit · 02/11/2019 07:20

Down a bit today still so 10 stone 11.5. Would be awesome if I hat to 10 stone 7 by December. Today: Porridge L: Soup and Hummus w. carrots D. Maybe veggie burgers or maybe chicken, sweet pots and veg? It's the start of shark week today so perhaps the entire contents of the fridge.

cricketmum84 · 02/11/2019 09:42

Happy Saturday everyone!

Just had a lovely breakfast of sourdough, wilted spinach, poached egg and poached mushrooms. Sat in the campsite pub watching the rugby at the moment and then onto Scarborough to shiver off all the calories and probably walk quite a few off too! No actual plan for the rest of the days food, just winging it and trying to make good decisions.

Have a lovely day everyone!

Morning all, what a windy and wet start to the month.
Have been meaning to restart my 30-day 15 minute exercise challenge since I finished it over a month ago! This morning I finally did a quick workout as soon as I got up - found it really hard to do while fasted though! But at least I've made a start, will try and continue with the rest of the 30 days.

Tryingtwo · 02/11/2019 16:54

Hello, I've been lurking on the October thread and would like to join in please.
I lost 4+ stones about 6 years ago but it has all gone back on (except for 5 lbs!)

Starting weight - 18th September 2019: 16st 10lbs
After 6 weeks - 30th October 2019 : 15st 7.2 lbs
Weight today: 15st 7lbs

I've reached my first target, which was to be under 100kg
My 2nd target is to be under 200lbs so 14st 3lbs. I was hoping to achieve that by the 31st December but realistically I will be over the moon if I make it to 14 st 7lbs.

I'm 53 and post menopausal and a lot more weight has settled on my belly. To drop a jean size I need to lose 6 to 7 inches off my waist and so far all the belly fat is staying put but my wedding ring is loose so my hands are slimmer (yay Hmm)

I tell myself that my weigh in day is on Wednesday but as usual when dieting I am on the scales every morning Smile

Egghead68 · 02/11/2019 17:24

Having a large glass of white wine and going 2-300 over calories. Oh well - cheers!

Egghead68 · 02/11/2019 17:28

@Tryingtwo post menopausal too and totally sympathise. My BMI is now 22.9 after last month’s weight loss but I continue to look obese because I have a huge mound of belly fat - I can literally grab handfuls.

Egghead68 · 02/11/2019 17:30

And I tried on size 14 clothes today and they were all too tight around the middle Sad

We will get there!

flowerycurtain · 02/11/2019 17:39

Late to the party here but my failure to keep up with the October thread has not helped me!

So fresh start today. Have kept within mfp. Am 10st 8. Would love the scales to read 9 something!

cricketmum84 · 02/11/2019 17:40

We've walked loads today. And shivered lots too 😂 I turned down ice cream and watched DH and DC eating theirs. Just had a handful of crisps when we got back to the caravan and got a goats cheese and onion tartlet in the oven to have with plenty of salad. Out tonight and will be having a couple of beers I'm sure!

Sounds like you are having a lovely time cricket!

Egghead, I have a size 14 dress that I love but it is so tight at the hips right now. I thought that a bit of weight loss would nail it but no such luck. I've ordered some shapewear in a last ditch attempt to wear it out in a fortnight but I might have to throw in the towel and call it a Christmas dress.

beforeIhit30 · 03/11/2019 00:08

Great progress for many here and hello to new joiners too!

Food yesterday:
B: baked beans, sausages, mozzarella, creamy coffee.
D: pork steak, spinach.

Today:
B: ham omelette, mushrooms, tomatoes, creamy coffee.
D: cauliflower (loads! I really like roasted cauliflower...), chicken in creamy sauce.

7Worfs · 03/11/2019 09:03

Morning all, and happy Sunday Brew

Had a good sleep last night as opposed to the hourly wakings the night before!
I did my fasted HIIT this morning and broke fast at 15.5 hours - could’ve gone to 16 but baby needs a nap.

I’m finding two cups of coffee immediately after cardio really banish hunger, so can prolong fast.

Scales are moving and all is right in the world this morning. 💃

WoollyFoolly · 03/11/2019 10:39

Morning, must have been something in the air because I had a full nights sleep too, amazing! I'd forgotten what it feels like to not have that gritty eye feeling all day from being too tired.

No scale movement today though but am feeling good. The first of my going out dresses has arrived and I love it! It's a very plain black tight fit jersey dress but I think I look great! So looking forward to wearing it, it's such a novelty to pick something to wear because I actively like it rather than because it disguises my massive stomach.

Egghead68 · 03/11/2019 12:09

Morning!

@Baguetteaboutit it’s so frustrating isn’t it!

70.9kg this morning

B- croissant 300
L - falafel salad 550
S - Fruit, quark 260
D - prob wine 2-300 and an early night.

Egghead68 · 03/11/2019 12:13

Enjoy your dress @WoollyFoolly and glad you are having a good day and slept well @7Worfs.

Startoftheyear2019 · 03/11/2019 12:20

Hi all, I'm glad I found you. I was active a while ago and then fell off the wagon. I'm back with a vengeance for November. Totally need online support to stick with it, but I am determined to end the year at 10 stone 3 lbs. Currently 11 stone.

makingmiracles · 03/11/2019 12:59

Lurker on the last thread, after a slow start in sept I dropped lunchtime omeLettes and have Just been having salad with protein instead, this seems to have helped as my total for Oct was 11lb off, so I start nov at 17.11. Seeing how huge I am it should fall off but I really find I have to fight to get it off!

I started 16:8 again a few days ago, the science makes sense and I find it easy to skip bf so it’s not a hardship, the only thing I’ve been wondering is about milk in tea, I cannot stand it without milk and already trying to make it as strong as possible without using too much milk but there seem conflicting advice to wether having milk in tea breaks the fast or not, some sites say it does, some say under 50cals won’t break it. I don’t want to undo the work but find drinking water first thing really hard.

Really hoping for another 7lb at least off in nov as towards end and beg of dec we have a cluster of bdays incl mine.

Yesterday
L: chicken salad and bowl of Greek yog with 2 strawberries and some blueberries

D: cauli rice and green “rice” with soy, lime and chilli salmon fillets

Today
L: chicken salad and Greek yog with berries
D: cauli and green rice with chicken breast

cricketmum84 · 03/11/2019 13:14

Hi all! Welcome to day 3 (already!) hello to the lurkers and new joiners from the last couple of days!

I'm exhausted today! All that walking yesterday had made my legs ache.

Made a lovely breakfast early this morning (one of my favourite things about caravan holidays is the long leisurely family breakfast. I had one cauldron sausage, grilled mushrooms and vine tomatoes, a poached egg and a slice of toast.

Then went swimming, DH and DC were constantly up and and down the slides so I took the opportunity to do 15 laps of the deep end! Actually quite enjoyed myself!

Chinese for tea tonight at the kids request. I'll probably order something like a veggie chow mein. There's only about 6 veggie options on the entire menu so not like it's gonna take me long to choose 😂

Hope everyone is having a lovely relaxing Sunday! So happy for those of us who had a good night after struggling with sleep.

Thought I'd pop on whilst my dinner is in the oven -chicken and rainbow veg

Had bacon, toms, mushroom and a dry fried egg for beeakfast

Lazy lunch of fish cakes and salad and I treated myself to a bowl of kettle chips -all accounted for in my calories

I don't drink so mange a few treats across the week Smile
