Exercised this morning and had prolonged fast, yay.
62.3kg, exactly 3kg loss in November to date.
I keep dreaming of food, I think I’m due a pig-out 10,000kcal day soon. Grin

Tryingtwo · 23/11/2019 09:56

Down a lb since Wednesday, so on track for the week. I am coming down with a cold/cough so feeling generally blergh. I will not comfort eat!

cricketmum84 · 23/11/2019 15:15

Just tried my dress on for very posh work event next week! It fits like a glove and I am so in love! Ordered 2 sizes and the smaller size fits!

Ignore the moody face - I don't do smiling pics lol!

Wow, stunning dress cricket, you look wonderful - moody face and all! Grin

cricketmum84 · 23/11/2019 15:32

Thanks @Baguetteaboutit I want to wear it every day forever 😂 it's so flattering!

This has just given me a big kick up the bum to try harder and not succumb to the mince pies in December though...

That's an amazing transformation! You should cellotape it to the scales for when plateau limbo is grinding your gears.

7Worfs · 23/11/2019 18:07

cricket that’s very impressive!
I hope the posh event is fun 💃 🍷

Egghead68 · 23/11/2019 18:37

Lovely dress and impressive weight loss!

Startoftheyear2019 · 23/11/2019 22:30

Beautiful dress - you look amazing! Not only have you lost loads of weight, you've cajoled and encouraged all of us as well 😀

DownUdderer · 24/11/2019 05:42

Wow fab photos! What a great NSV.

I’ve had good food today. I had a meal out last night, it was unplanned so I just chose something I fancied and probably ate less than half of it because it was pasta. I’m feeling confident that I can think on my feet and choose something ok even when I’ve not pre-planned and that’s a relief.

Egghead68 · 24/11/2019 06:56

68.6kg. Need to lose 0.4kg by the end of the month to hit the 3kg goal.

B: sandwich 400
L: Chinese snacks, salad 400
S: Fruit 140
D: teriyaki tofu 420
Determined not to go off plan today.

Happy Sunday everyone!

FashionFoodLaughs · 24/11/2019 08:20

@cricketmum84 you look bloomin’ fabulous! Great NSV on the sizes.

Ihatesundays · 24/11/2019 08:47

Amazing @cricketmum84!

No change for me today- did eat some crap yesterday and hardly moved though

WoollyFoolly · 24/11/2019 08:53

Ahh @cricketmum84 you are doing amazingly well! You look fab in your new dress, hope you enjoy the event!

No movement here still, but I've had two meals out this weekend and got another two next week so I'm ok with no movement!

cricketmum84 · 24/11/2019 09:08

We are starting to move into peak socialising season now aren't we! I've got the awards bash next week with cocktails and a three course set meal that I have no control over... then a trip to the German market Friday afternoon, a local Christmas event Saturday.

With all this in mind what does everyone think to December? Do we think a half stone/3kg target is realistic? I'll be setting up the thread at the end of next week so all opinions welcome.

Thank you everyone for your lovely comments ❤️

Just having my green tea and lemon, I've planned baked salmon and lots of salad for dinner. I only tend to have one meal on a Sunday but have plenty of fruit in if I get peckish later.

Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday!

Been awake since 4.30am but keeping it together Brew
No exercise for me today.
Got a whole chicken with lots of lemon in the slow cooker, haven’t tried it before so hopefully turns out okay.

Re December - my plan is to still do 16:8 and exercise as much as possible, but also enjoy events and festive food without any guilt. No hard target, but hopefully still lose 1-2kg.

Tryingtwo · 24/11/2019 14:58

Lovely dress cricketmum, you look fantastic.

Re: December. I have 2 meals out planned, so I plan to just enjoy then and stick to my calories for the rest of the month except for Christmas day and Boxing day when as we all know diets go out the window Wink
I will aim for 6lbs down but will be happy with 4lbs.

Egghead68 · 24/11/2019 23:28

I’ve never managed to stick to a diet for more than 6 weeks and, sure enough, for the last 5 days or so (ie about 6 weeks from my start date) I have not stuck to my meal plans at all. Where I’ve planned salad I’ve eaten pizza and cake and where I’ve planned stir fry I’ve eaten Colin the Caterpillar sweets. Aargh. I don’t know why I do this - it’s like I rebel against myself. Posting to try to help me renew my resolve tomorrow...

Startoftheyear2019 · 25/11/2019 00:03

Good luck @Egghead68. There's just a few days until the end of the month and you're so close to your goal. Don't self-sabotage! Post tomorrow if you are struggling.

DownUdderer · 25/11/2019 03:07

Yes, I think a lower target sounds like a good idea, perhaps 3.5lbs? December can be the most daunting month!

@Egghead68 don’t self sabotage! If you maintain you’ll feel better than gaining. Try some positive thoughts in your head :)

I skipped breakfast today, not on purpose but I just couldn’t get my act together, so I just focused on lunch instead. I’m 10st 8 and I’m so close to 10st and a half and when I started out I never believed I could get to 10 and a half! I feel in control again. I’ve had a funny year, whilst lots of things this year have been wonderful, enjoyable and lovely I’ve also had my share of stress. I can brush the stress under the carpet in a stiff upper lip type of fashion and getting my weight and eating back in control has given me the opportunity to reflect and realize I don’t need to brush it all away after all. But I also don’t need to stuff chocolate in my mouth and guzzle Coke to get through the stress.

I had lovely cold meats, olives, avocado and mozzarella for lunch.

Egghead68 · 25/11/2019 05:28

Thanks both (mozzarella and avocado sounds lovely). OK - we can do this.
68.6kg
Plan - 1400 calories of whatever I want but possibly
B - sandwich 500
L - pasta salad 600
S. - Fruit, yoghurt, chocolate 380
D - none
Bodyblast and possibly spin.

Egghead68 · 25/11/2019 05:34

Sounds like a very positive realisation @DownUdderer.

DownUdderer · 25/11/2019 06:09

Yes! It’s funny how you don’t realize what you’re eating when stressed and how it can make you feel more stressed really!

MsTSwift · 25/11/2019 06:53

I think broadly 16 8 will help. If there is a nice meal or event I just don’t eat the rest of the day. So yesterday dh made lovely roast lamb and treacle tart so I basically didn’t eat all day then ate that so was prob 1000 in one meal but still overall ok.

In the week still doing fast800. If I have morning client I have breakfast but skip lunch if not skip breakfast and have lunch. Have dinner on small plate. My trousers now too big and people are noticing

Egghead68 · 25/11/2019 08:02

NSV - I have a waist!
