I guess north, but no potato (frittata has potato I think?) I saw them on a Joe Wicks program, and have done a couple of different mixes depending on what’s to hand. Good job on getting tabata done, enjoy the cookbook - haven’t tried but have seen various things on FB with their recipes, look great

I've got both pon books. Haven't done anything from the second one yet. I will this week or next as have planned this week already

lifelongfrugaleer · 25/01/2020 19:14

Way over again but lovely food eaten and junk I say it all lot and I really need to do it and stick to more than a couple of days on plan

lifelongfrugaleer · 26/01/2020 07:30

Weekly average is +0.2. could have been worse

Not2bObvious · 26/01/2020 09:59

Down .5 on Sunday 2 weeks ago, last week I’d only had 1 weigh in so it was a non week really.
1.4lb down in 3 weeks - so now only 1lb above pre Christmas weight. That’s something positive.

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 26/01/2020 10:39

Average up +0.4lbs
Daily weigh in down 1.3lbs so starting next week from a good place. 1 walk this week, steps are poor, so I know what I'll be doing next week Crown Wink

Not2bObvious · 26/01/2020 12:18

That’s a nice start to a Sunday happier, 1.3 is a decent jump down. Hope you can get your activity up, definitely helps on many levels.
Tiny gain life, more a maintain I’d say

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 26/01/2020 12:27

Not will be out walking today too, with dc so pace won't be as good but it'll still be fresh air & exercise

lifelongfrugaleer · 26/01/2020 13:51

It's an undeserved maintain. In going to 1700 in a bid to break this cycle. But means I must must get my activities in.

Fbw Tuesday Thursday Friday. 15k steps rest of the time.

lifelongfrugaleer · 26/01/2020 20:16

10k steps and 1799 calories. Not the best start.

Not2bObvious · 26/01/2020 20:19

I was listening to a podcast earlier and the guy was talking about the daily weigh ins and how we “should” ignore the daily fluctuations if they cause us to overreact - be it positively or negatively. And to view it just as data but look at the month to month figure. Well this day last month was Stephens Day/Boxing Day and I’m 2.2lb down since then. Interesting to see?

Not2bObvious · 26/01/2020 20:19

Ooh and I’m meant to be going away in around a month by date, I’m going to be working towards that date!

Hi all.
Weight 12s2lb.
Steps 11909
Food
B- cereal and coffee
Didn't have lunch because was still full from breakfast
D- roast dinner, was yummy!

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/01/2020 06:33

It does sound like a sensible plan to ignore the day to day but it's so difficult to.
A loss is a loss. Yea for the next 2 months

Happierwithouthim · 27/01/2020 07:13

That would give me a half lb loss yesterday for the month

This morning scales fluxed up by 2.4lbs Shock maybe needs new batteries

Not2bObvious · 27/01/2020 07:13

Hard to ignore but I’m going to try.
Up .6 but that’s still .2 down on Friday, decent start to the week. Weekend won’t need to be worked off much for a change. Lots of fibre/fluid and protein today. And steps where I can. Monday’s are busy and I’ve a lot of driving to do, hope the back doesn’t grumble too much

I was just thinking about that too happier, if you’d had a high weigh day from the month to the month date but I suppose in that case it would stand out and you’d see it from the days around it. Ahh I dunno, I suppose I’m trying to find something positive to learn from, maybe it’d be safer if I just listened to audio books😂

Happierwithouthim · 27/01/2020 09:45

What kind of reading do you like?

I'm trying to read more this year. Have 5 books read so far this month and for once I can tell what they've all been about, usually I just read chewing gum for the mind

Not2bObvious · 27/01/2020 10:39

I’m a big reader, like thrillers, also trying some self help for teenage challenges. So I’ve 2 books on the go on my kindle and a couple of audio books on the go to put me asleep and all my podcasts. I’m kind of tempted to buy the James Smith book but I “think” I have a fair grasp of his message. Too much time to fill

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 27/01/2020 11:11

The sleepless nights are being filled with reading?

Not2bObvious · 27/01/2020 11:19

Yeah, audio book to go to sleep, kindle paper white to get me back to sleep, not all the time but sometimes. Awake for nearly 2 hours last night, if I didn’t wake for the loo around 3 or 4, I’d be fine. I don’t drink caffeine after 3pm now and that helps a bit I think

OP posts:
northender · 27/01/2020 16:04

I can see the point of the daily weighs, but it would be very hard to ignore the fluctuations. \more than 2 pounds off over a month is a definite loss though Not?
Tabata class this morning. Bagel & cottage cheese for breakfast. Soup & slice of low GI bread & yoghurt for lunch. I'm doing a chicken & bacon casserole for tea with rice but will just have mine with veg.

Happierwithouthim · 27/01/2020 16:45

If you listen to the Other Side of Perfect podcast with Sabrina Hill she mentions some man that she listens to every night going to sleep, said it's the nearest thing to hypnosis she has come across, I didn't retain the name however.

Not2bObvious · 27/01/2020 17:19

I was delighted to be honest north. I’m a very slow loser for sure (cause I keep going on holiday and losing my way on weekends😉)
I’ve been 2 steps forward & back for ages, looking at it that way was great for a change. I reckon I’ve 25 pound to lose, if I manage 2lb a month, I’d be there by next Christmas. I can live with that
