I’d say you’re getting close to a drop wreck, might be a nice surprise coming for you.
Back to daily weighing I think for the next 10 days, typical crappy Monday weigh in, super crappy after lots of food/drink over the weekend. Over 15,000 steps between morning walk/weights session/family day out walking around for a couple of house. Sitting in the garden listening to a podcast sipping tonic

0.6 down. I suspect it's mainly water given how much of yesterday I spent going to the loo(!) but I'm not fussy. I drank a lot too though.

Not2bObvious · 06/08/2019 08:44

Mumsnet seems to be having some tech issues, I can see the first line of your update wreck but not the rest. .6 off is great! I’m down around 1.4 from yesterday but still holding a good amount. A bit of me wonders could it be from doing weights but then I give my head a wobble, 2-3 x 40 minute weights workouts with a max of 17kg barbell is hardly going to be doing enough to warrant my gains. Rubbish sleep again, f’ing depressing

128 today. Nothing hit yesterday and Garmin died so currently on charge. I have a watch shaped tan line too

WreckTangled · 07/08/2019 08:28

0.2 up.

Going to try making low carb brownies today 😋

Not2bObvious · 07/08/2019 09:34

1.2 down today, 40 minute les mills workout done (off YouTube) - did a quick 15 minute Leslie Sansone walk to warm up so started the day well.
Let us know how the LC brownies work out wreck, I love a brownie!
I’ve a Fitbit shaped block on my wrist life - it’s like we’re branded. 128 is great

I have an awful watch mark too!

lifelongfrugaleer · 07/08/2019 14:55

Trying to decide if I can be arsed to go to the gym tonight. 5pm is yoga/Pilates or 6.45 is pump. Not feeling either tbh but steps are shite

WreckTangled · 07/08/2019 19:51

The brownies were a bit gritty but I kind of made up the recipe so not surprising and they still taste good so I don't care Grin just want to show you the difference in my sugar levels, obviously today has been a particularly good day but it's really encouraging!

Those numbers are great wreck. Much more stable.
Did 30 minutes attack and pump. Feel better. Still need 2 k steps though did some without my Garmin this morning so will add a couple of hundred on there.

Wolfcubisthefemalenominal · 08/08/2019 06:42

3lb up. Not surprising to be honest. Mostly pints and carbs!

WreckTangled · 08/08/2019 06:53

0.2 down. I've got a bit of a sore throat. Hope it does whatever it's doing and buggers off before our holiday.

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/08/2019 07:29

.3 down.

Not2bObvious · 08/08/2019 08:04

Up 1.2, very common for me to see a gain on Thursday, although I’d be lying if I said it didn’t bother me. Ate at maintenance level yesterday so that may be why, more bread. I keep toying with the idea of low carb but I know I can’t live like that long term - did 5:2 and the 800 plan before for ages which lean towards LC, found them fine for a bit but couldn’t keep them up.
1 week to go to another week of excess, best bring the elasticated waistbands

Omg, what a lonnng ass boring day. Home now with my nerves stretched to breaking, taking a little lie down with a cuppa before I do a quick Leslie walking video as I’m too wiped out to face the outside world and am in my PJs already. V close to 10,000 so if I get another 2-3000 I’ll be happy.
How’s everyone else doing?

I've sat on my bum all day Grin food wise has been fine.

Breakfast: keto bagel with cream cheese and turkey slices

Lunch: veg and paneer curry

Just having some cucumber and cheese spread

Have had 1.5l of water and 500ml coffee Grin so one more litre and I'll have my 3 for the day (coffee counts right?!)

Dinner... probably taco mince with salad. I haven't been that hungry today.

Oh and also have two brownies Blush

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/08/2019 20:27

By the seaside so eaten my body weight in chips and ice cream. Just shy of 14k steps. Meh. Back to it maybe tomorrow defo Saturday

Not2bObvious · 08/08/2019 22:27

Yumm chips and icecream - sounds lovely!
Just hit 15,000 steps, under cals as well. Hoping to see a better number in the morning, have my food planned for tomorrow and am determined not to f**k up this weekend

Weight has STS. I didn't quite finish my water yesterday and am still pretty sluggish digestive wise. Hey ho off to work in the shop today 😴

Wolfcubisthefemalenominal · 09/08/2019 08:40

1.5lb of carb bloat gone

Happierwithouthim · 09/08/2019 09:20

Hi all
work has been crazy, see we're all keeping going, love our little group here.

A good friend of mine always ran a bit but has now been bitten by the running bug, we did a 10k on sunday and ran again on Wed eve about 7k, I feel inspired again by her enthusiasm. She mentioned going yesterday and I couldn't because it was my early evening finish at work to spend with dc, only about 4k steps yesterday so I got my ass out of bed this morning and did a short run 3.5km but meant my steps already exceed yesterdays and I feel good about myself Grin
Finally the drop on the scales happened for me today Grin
I now will have a loss for this week, possibly minute but a loss nonetheless Grin

Just downloaded Brian Keane's The Fitness Mindset on Kindle for some motivation

Like Trisha says "Let's Beat the Bulge" Grin

Not2bObvious · 09/08/2019 10:12

It’s brilliant to have someone to run with happier, so much nicer with company. Hurrah for a loss, any drop is great.
I got up and did an hours walk, then most of a les mills style body pump. Have my 10,000 steps done, I’ll get another few pottering around over the course of the day. Down 2.2 on yesterday’s rotten weight, actually down .4 on last Friday but average is up on the whole. I could care less! I was utterly miserable yesterday and had to fight my way out of catastrophic thinking that I’d never drop the weight. Feeling so much more positive today.
Glad your bloat is disappearing too wolf

lifelongfrugaleer · 09/08/2019 17:01

Pleased you have a running buddy happier. How's the back holding up?

Off plan today eaten loads, stepped none. It's all ok though.

Happierwithouthim · 09/08/2019 21:02

Back's good the deep tissue massage did the trick as did adjusting location of my keyboard at work.

Not2 I think the summers just harder in general & that we'll all settle back into losing in September again!

Not2bObvious · 10/08/2019 00:14

Glad the deep tissue worked for you happier
I’ve lost a whole .4 of a pound in August so I’m not writing it off yet😉
