I think it might make a big difference not it certainly did to me when I cut it out. And you'll feel the benefits of it when you go to wedding too.

Dropped back down to 159.2 this morning (weight most of last week) and brought my average in line with last weeks.

Steps were good almost 13k as went for a run with my friend and my dog Smile

Tried on 8 dresses for wedding next month and one was too big Grin I like about 4 of them so I'll need to do more trying on! Least I wasn't having a fat day Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 01/10/2019 11:14

Alcohol free and subsequent munchies free will make a difference not imo.

Great nsv happier.

Happierwithouthim · 01/10/2019 12:00

I'd rolls of belly fat though when I looked in bathroom mirror bent over Blush

Not2bObvious · 01/10/2019 14:42

I think everyone has belly rolls despite how slim happier, stand tall woman😉
I’ve had the busiest morning, starving on the way home & came v close to drive thru but I resisted & got the taco fries thing from Aldi with the great macros (300 cals, 33gr protein)

lifelongfrugaleer · 01/10/2019 17:02

Everyone has rolls of fat bent over looking in a mirror. I agree stand tall. Shoulders back, Boobs out, tummy in.

lifelongfrugaleer · 02/10/2019 06:42

In the excitement of DS birthday I've forgotten my weight. 126. Something

Not2bObvious · 02/10/2019 10:41

If I saw anything starting with 12... (or even 15...) I’d forget my own name life😂 Happy birthday for your ds!
I’m not accepting this mornings weight or entering it, I might weigh again when I get home at lunchtime - I find ridiculous early morning weighins can improve as the day goes on, even after some food/drink

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 02/10/2019 14:59

Lunchtime weigh in sees me down .6 on yesterday’s weight. Phew!

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 02/10/2019 17:00

I sts at 159.2, if I can keep it in the 150s I'll be happy Grin
I could grab several inches on Monday night when trying on the dresses, it's obviously not a stance I'll be repeating too often Grin

Today I'll hit macros & stay within calories, it will be helped by a protein bar, but I'll be starving going to gym if I don't eat something first and H's coming after to discuss some message from auctioneer/purchaser so I might not get to eat straight away. Shoot that cancels out my NSD because I've to buy the protein bar Sad

Happierwithouthim · 02/10/2019 17:41

Decided going to gym is madness, my hand hurts & most things I'd be doing would involve using it!
Going to walk dog instead using running lead so hands free

Not2bObvious · 02/10/2019 17:42

Nice one happier, I glimpsed 159.8 one day last week but it’s evaded me since then. I think you’re firmly in the 150’s now, with so many 159 weigh ins. I’m actually 4.5 down in 4 weeks (well 5 weeks as week 1 weigh in is a week in) so that’s positive. If that kept up I might have a chance of seeing 150 by Christmas

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 02/10/2019 19:08

Good plan happier. Good luck for tonight.
All shit today. Feel uncomfortableness full and greedy sick

Happierwithouthim · 02/10/2019 19:51

Ate sliced chicken instead of fulfil bar saved my pocket too

I don't know about that not but I'm going to enjoy afternoon tea on sat with the girls & drinks with himself that night & back to normal then Sunday.

Told bf there was work for him sat if he wished I'd cancel hotel & his reply was life Is short we'll go away Grin he's blissfully unaware of mfp & it'll stay that way Grin

Not2bObvious · 02/10/2019 19:56

Well you’ve 2 more days potential to stick to diet cals, could be an investment to offset fun weekend. I reckon you’re golden😉
You do right not whipping out the mfp in front of the fella, bit of a buzz kill eh😂 He’s dead right, life is short, enjoy yourself

Happierwithouthim · 03/10/2019 07:06

158.3 bringing my average down to 159.2 delighted Grin
I've established that walking does more for me than running which annoys me as I love to run.

Today I've another high fibre day planned

WreckTangled · 03/10/2019 07:10

That's great happier! I'm up again. Meh.

Wolfcub · 03/10/2019 07:26

Weight down 2.5lb , two days of running round like a maniac and not having time to eat though so possibly not a reflection of realistic weight loss

Happierwithouthim · 03/10/2019 08:22

Sorry wasn't finishing with my post when I hit post, just thought I'd lose it when I arrived at work!

Not he's not a big eater anyhow so there's no pressure of desserts etc. I'd say in the 8 months of eating out possibly 3 times a month together we've had dessert 3/4 times.

29g fibre yesterday definitely helped, gotta keep that up. It makes a difference.

wreck all the toast GrinGrin
wolf how do you not have time to eat? Confused

Today my lunch is the same as yesterday - mexican chicken with mexican lentils & pilau rice. Mid morning snack is a repeat of yesterday's breakfast - no added sugar beans on irwins high fibre bread(to use up can of beans) and breakfast was 2 medallions in a slice of irwins bread with some mayo. This leaves me with 663 cals & 28g protein & 8g fibre to hit, so it can be done.

Yesterday I had breakfast & lunch as detailed above, some chicken for snacks & bolognese with wholemeal noodles for dinner, leaving enough cals for a 25g pack of walkers salt & vinegar Grin

WreckTangled · 03/10/2019 08:23

I didn't have toast! Grin

CamdenTownie · 03/10/2019 09:22

Hi everyone!

Joining to try and shift some weight 😬 before Christmas, I've put on 3 stone over the last year, which makes me want to cry!

But I'm on a slippery slope and don't want to gain another 3 stone!

Not really sure where to start as money is tight and so is time, which is why I often end up bunging a frozen pizza in the oven.

There's so much going on at the moment I know the way I feel about my weight just adds to my low mood, all the time.

I need the support and encouragement from a group but don't have the money to join one at the moment.

Happierwithouthim · 03/10/2019 09:56

camden we're your group! And we're free and always available not just once a week. Do you exercise/drink water etc? What plans have you followed before?

There are 11 weeks to Christmas, that could see you a stone lighter minimum, wouldn't that be fantastic?

CamdenTownie · 03/10/2019 12:57

I followed slimming world on and off for about five years, but I had an op last year and the weight piled on.

I've also tried Weight Watchers and calorie counting, but I have to stick to 1200 cals or it doesn't work for me, I am quiet short so I guess that's why.

I usually have pasta for lunch at work each day, but from next week we won't be able to heat anything up for a month as the kitchen will be out of action.

Eggs are a good breakfast I think so might try and have that for breakfast rather than my usual crumpets.

Happierwithouthim · 03/10/2019 14:30

Also short here - 5' 2.5" I follow 1600 cals and 10k average steps daily and 3.2 litres of water, when I eat nutritious food and meet these other two criteria, I lose between 0.5 and 1.5lbs per week. It's slow progress for me because I'm not strict enough with the steps and exercise but it has stopped me binging so it's great even for that.

Eggs are my staple breakfast really, but my hen has slowed down for winter so I'm having bacon/beans/porridge these days. Poached egg on a wholemeal slim bagel is a winner.

Have you got the information from slimming world & could you follow it from home? If you download the fitbit app you can record your weighings on that, I and some of the others here weigh daily, others weekly but it's handy to see graph of your weight loss on it.

Not2bObvious · 03/10/2019 16:12

You’re very welcome camden, any diet will work as long as you’re in a calorie deficit. I’m a smidge taller at 5’4’ish and I aim for 10,000-15,000 steps a day & 1750 cals. I use mfp to track my cals and I find I probably eat closer to 1850-1900 a day taking into account weekend splurges. I’ve lost about 4.5lb over 5 weeks and that’s up/down. Maybe look at what you’re doing now & change a couple of things or add things in, like 30 mins brisk walk a day. I can’t manage on low cals so I exercise more to allow myself some leeway.
Anyway great to have another on board

Unsurprisingly up this morning. Fbw done steps done. Will get calories but need fibre and protein.

We will defo be your group Camden. Did you like SW/ww/ cals?
I'm 5"4 ish and on 1800 per day. I do 3 weight workouts a week and try and get 15000 steps. I'm pondering doing to 16-1700 though to lose a little more. I maintain on 1800.

Have you got a step counter? Depending on your weight 1200 calories is waaayyyy too low. Unless you weight about 7 stone.
