Haha wreck, I do that too! Well done on either. No weigh in today, awake since 4am, up since 6 baking - more baking tomorrow after work. Very happy child here this morning with the collection of gifts & the pancake brekkie.

I went over by 330 cals, negating the walk on beach with dog and dc by a lot but I'm always like this when I've a scratchy throat, I felt satisfied with my cheesy chips(made in halo) and taco mayonnaise so it stopped the eating.

Sts this morning on scales so weekly average is up by a pound. I've so much stuff going on in my head with the sale of house that once I'm not shovelling mindless crap food into my mouth I think I'm doing relatively ok.

Happierwithouthim · 18/09/2019 08:38

Awake last two mornings at 4.30am, one hour before alarm Angry this morning my dog was answered a dog three fields away AngryAngry

Happy birthday to your dd not

lifelongfrugaleer · 18/09/2019 08:50

Happy birthday not DD.
Just go for least damage happier. There are worse things you can do than maintain right now.
How's the decluttering?

Happierwithouthim · 18/09/2019 09:32

Sitting room/Dining Room/Under the Stairs/Office all done!

Will tackle either Playroom/Wardrobes/Kitchen at the weekend.

Not2bObvious · 18/09/2019 13:19

Well done happier, that’s a lot of work. With so much I’m surprised you haven’t just said feck it! I’ve been battling with myself for a good hour on what to have for lunch, just had half a sandwich & a handful of crisps (weighed & tracked) A couple of bits of white choc found there way into my gob when decorating cake number 1, have to go confess to mfp. I’m very low on steps too, need to pull myself together & stop arsing about

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 18/09/2019 13:58

Without a moving date it's harder to motivate myself to do it so I've told myself it's midterm break is the deadline now.

Heard recently that animal shelters take old teddies so I'm going to shift on a few there hopefully.

How many cakes if you speak about cake #1?

I've decided I'm napping for the two free hours I have this evening before dc come home, I'm just wrecked. I'll get about 25k steps in Tayto Park on Sun that'll balance it out Grin
It's amazing how ruthless you can be when you have to be, but a bit unfrugal too. I had display books belonging to dd from earlier years in school and rather than remove the sheets inside I just threw the whole lot into the binbag, this wouldn't be my style at all. I'm very much a reduce/reuse/recycle kind of person.

Oh I might tackle the press of doom with the lunchbox/ice cube bags etc in it, that would be a monumental job done too!!

Not2bObvious · 18/09/2019 15:28

Cake #1 - cake for actual birthday, cake #2 was a chocolate banana bread to use up bananas and can be frozen in portions for dessert when we have company on Saturday. Baking cake #3 tomorrow or Friday morning for the birthday party gang and then I’ve to make buns & rice crispy cakes. I’ve already eaten wayyyy more icing/melted choc/mini marshmallows than I should. Inhaled a mini bag of skittles when doing party bags 🐷

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 18/09/2019 16:03

I took out black bananas out of the freezer this morning to make banana bread, you've just reminded me! Not sure if I have chocolate & nuts for it or not.

Sounds like a lush spread le yum I put leftover skittles into a sistema tub with 4 little hinges on it, to keep it safe from my sneaky hands, it's worked so far Grin

Not2bObvious · 18/09/2019 16:36

I just used Nutella (fake Nutella actually) A few blobs throughout the cake. Used a little over half the sugar recommended as I’d 3 bananas and my lot don’t like it too sweet. Feel proper organised with my freezer cake😁

That's a lot of cake. Mmmmm cake
On train home. Over calories as lots of bread/beige based products as lunch was provided. Still hungry though.

Happierwithouthim · 18/09/2019 18:33

So mine is a mummy cooks recipe basically completely changed - there's raisins/pistachios/teeny chunks of snickers/chia seeds with 5 well blackened freezer bananas & whole meal flour.
Will see how it turns out.

Other freezer finds were some gravy base of onions in current dinner now and soup, I'll be having soup tomo I guess, I think it's bacon & lentil.

It's roasting out & I'm having a slow cooker roast turkey dinner Grin

It’s a ridiculous amount of cake indeed! The birthday cake was amazing, I know self praise is no praise but it was devoured. Despite all my picking I think I finished the day within cals and I’ve nearly 13,500 steps done. Felt myself slipping today but I may have pulled it back. Legit scared of the scales right now, will have to face to it tomorrow. I’d only 1 bad day really but my brain has made it into a catastrophic failure. A grip is needed! We had freezer slow cooked beef happier, roast dinners all round on a sweltering day

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 19/09/2019 06:22

Up today, unsurprisingly. Will be back on it today. It's one day not. Back on it today.

WreckTangled · 19/09/2019 06:50

Weight down again. 2lb up on my lowest now so not so bad

Not2bObvious · 19/09/2019 07:08

Faced the scales, average now only up by .2 and 3 weigh ins to drop that and a little more to have a loss this week. This may be a challenge. I’m feeling much better after a good 7.5 hours sleep so that’ll help me get through today. Tomorrow I’ll just have to keep mega busy which will be handy because I will be mega busy! Chewing gum, must buy some, I can still pick while busy, so that’ll help.

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 19/09/2019 08:32

My cake was pure comfort food & I've eaten an awful lot of it Blush
I'm hanging with this sore throat, stuffed head again, it's pure stress I know it is.

The roast dinner was delicious & I've the other half for tonight so my meals are still good it's just I'm never satisfied when I'm feeling like this so I took myself to bed at 9pm. Slept straight through until 5.25am.

Weighed then and was up 1.2lbs, but a while later I went to loo and weighed again with a STS!

Not2bObvious · 19/09/2019 09:13

You poor thing happier, that sounds a bit miserable- at least you’ve a nice dinner to look forward to later, sounds comforting. I often go for a good walk before weigh in coz I know I’ll need another wee & the scales will reward me. Tangible proof that often unearned gains/flux are fluid.

Not2bObvious · 19/09/2019 19:47

Ok second baking day done - birthday cake/buns/rice crispy cakes completed. Some chocolate was snaffled but I’m relatively confident I’ve tracked it and am on cals for the day. Will only get 10,000 steps though. Tired and cranky af. I do not know why I put myself through these things, then I look at the little face so thrilled & I remember. It’ll take my feet/back & bank balance a week to recover!

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 20/09/2019 06:27

Ah lovely not.
Up today but I've had more salt than usual last couple of days

Wolfcub · 20/09/2019 06:48

Overall weight outcome for the week, sts which is great. Someone at work yesterday actually commented that I looked like I’d lost since they last saw me (about 4 months ago)

Happierwithouthim · 20/09/2019 06:55

Wolf that's fantastic that others are noticing, bet that gave you a pep in your step Smile

Down 0.6lbs today so weekly average is exactly +1lb today, I'll be weighing tomo & sun too, going to pack my own scales.

Tried to drink a half glass of wine last night but couldn't taste it so I poured it back into the quarter bottle Grin

I didn't track yesterday, I feel a little better this morning, in bed by 9/9.30 every night bar one since sun Sad

Not it is worth it to see their faces

WreckTangled · 20/09/2019 06:59

Down 0.2. It all helps Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 20/09/2019 07:14

Very frugal happier

Yeah wolf no scale victory right there.

Going to work in my gym kit. Yesterday fbw was a disaster as got a pain in my knee doing squats. Was feeling that way out after a 13 hours day and shite food the day before though
