my 10am snack was another breakfast maybe poached egg on toast or porridge, because I got sick of yogurt.

Today I had those cacao & orange protein balls from lidl 165kcals, I'll be starving by lunch but there's nothing wrong with being hungry for your meals either

WreckTangled · 10/09/2019 11:04

Happier I tell the dc that! Trying to make them realise it's good to be hungry for your meal, I say for an hour before it's ready. Any more they can have a small snack.

lifelongfrugaleer · 10/09/2019 16:30

Ahem >>>>>>>leaves thread as I'm a greedy snack monster

Happierwithouthim · 10/09/2019 16:48

life we're all different Grin

Not2bObvious · 10/09/2019 17:19

Ha! You may be a greedy snack monster life but you’re a greedy snack monster who’s near/at goal weight. I’m a big pudding who needs less pudding😉

lifelongfrugaleer · 10/09/2019 17:39

I can't wait for more calories = more snacks.

You will all be at goal soon.
I think we are all a bit reinvigorated this month

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 10/09/2019 20:14

Evening all.
Well done to all of you, you are all doing so well.
Yesterday and today was spent doing first aid training, it was delivered by active paramedics so was really good.
Steps today 10151, so just made it!
I'm super tired!

Not2bObvious · 10/09/2019 21:23

That’s a great skill to learn curvy, and well done on the steps. Just hit 15,000 with a bit of marching on the spot, finished with a couple of hundred spare cals for the weekend. Good thing too as have a meal & drinks Friday and a birthday party Saturday, more food & drinks. Have company Thursday and determined not to drink, we’ve all said no drinks Sunday through Thursday so this is week 3. Testing times 🤔

1lb down so heading in the right direction again

Not2bObvious · 11/09/2019 06:56

Snap wreck, me too. Glad it’s turned around for you, such a head wrecker. My average is down .7 so far with 4 more weigh ins to go. Great sleep but mega weird dreams. Not sure how’ll I do my steps today, might be able to get most of them with errands

OP posts:
Wolfcub · 11/09/2019 07:06

1lb down. Apparently stress is good for weighloss!

lifelongfrugaleer · 11/09/2019 07:14

Yeah lots of losses.
Stay off the drink not. Lots of empty calories.
Forced myself to fbw last night and got everything else in.
Today may prove tricky as DS has hurt his leg. If you see someone pacing a&e it's me doing my steps

GingerOClock · 11/09/2019 07:14

Hi - would love to join you. I am the heaviest I've ever been at 80kg and I need to do something about it.

I have a fitbit, myfitness pal and I've just downloaded coach to 5k.

Some accountability would be marvellous ! I've also just joined the frugal thread - whole life overhaul obviously required 😬

WreckTangled · 11/09/2019 07:24

Life hope he's ok.

Welcome ginger. We are all eating in different ways but all tend to weigh daily

Happierwithouthim · 11/09/2019 07:58

Welcome ginger

I was starving last night & ate my dinner followed by slice of toast with butter and then a pitta bread with cheese, butter and serrano ham, cue salt bloat this morning of +1.5 +754 calories Shock and I could've kept going but stopped myself. Will flush it out today. Brought my gym gear too and will do session in gym and then walk dog before dc come home.

life what happened to ds

lovely losses everyone Grin

Not2bObvious · 11/09/2019 08:05

Poor ds life, hope he’s ok. I hate a&e, I doubt anyone likes it of course! Not sure what it’s like in the uk but it’s utterly grim in Dublin.
Very welcome ginger, as mentioned before we’re all reducing using various methods. I’m purely working on a calorie deficit, I used to watch macros etc but now I’m just about the numbers. I walk the legs off myself as well, on the third week of being well behaved and all going well. Jeez who knew if you actually ate less & moved more (rather than just talk about it) the weight would drop off😂

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 11/09/2019 08:54

Wow not maybe there's something in the 15000 steps and caloric deficit after all GrinGrin

Not2bObvious · 11/09/2019 10:04

I know happier, it’s incredible how stuff works if you actually do it? If I’d only known😂

GingerOClock · 11/09/2019 10:12

Thanks everyone - just completed my first run on couch to 5k. I've had this app lots of times before and have never made it past week 3! I always start with good intentions then soon go back to bad habits. Hoping to break that this time 🤞

Happierwithouthim · 11/09/2019 10:42

It's a brilliant course ginger inspired me to run almost 9 years ago

lifelongfrugaleer · 11/09/2019 13:02

Every day is a school day not.

He hurt his leg doing sports. It's all ok, groin strain. Our a@e is lovely

Happierwithouthim · 11/09/2019 14:04

Good that it's ok life, my 5 year old ds has a sore bum [tmi] no idea why , checked for worms just in case, then dd was complaining hers was sore, when I checked her she hadn't wiped it, she's 9 ffs!!

So sudocrem is out in our house again Shock

WreckTangled · 11/09/2019 14:08

Happier dd is much more uncleanly than ds. She also leaves her dirty clothes/pants on the floor all the tine whereas ds puts his in the wash. She's going to be a gross teenager. Already says she doesn't like putting her deodorant on and can't be bothered 🙄

Happierwithouthim · 11/09/2019 17:38

Wait for her to get interested in boys that'll change that wreck
Dd just got her own room recently & ran out of underwear on first day back to school because they weren't in the wash & were on her bedroom floor Blush

Happierwithouthim · 11/09/2019 17:39

It's way too nice to go to gym so I'm taking dog for a nice long walk instead
