lifelongfrugaleer · 08/09/2019 17:38

Well done not.
And happier...
That looks Yum wreck yy what's the recipe?

WreckTangled · 08/09/2019 17:58

166 calories 1.5g carbs Grin recipe I made mine into 16 hence why my cals are slightly different to theirs.

Not2bObvious · 08/09/2019 18:54

That’s brilliant happier, hope to be rejoining the 150’s by the end of this month. Would you rate the actifry? I’m tempted but unsure if it’s worth the counter space or €€€

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 08/09/2019 23:43

Actually it's a halo I have now, my actifry lasted about 8 years. I do love it & it's used daily in my house.

Happierwithouthim · 08/09/2019 23:45

Counterspace is limited here so sandwich toaster slow cooker halo & blender all live in a cupboard unless they're being used. Toaster kettle & microwave are left out

159.2 sts again today Grin
I was good yesterday despite being out a lot of the day

lifelongfrugaleer · 09/09/2019 08:41

Ooo will keep a look out happier

Happierwithouthim · 09/09/2019 09:09

If you don't get it I'll post one over, they're the best yet Grin

Happierwithouthim · 09/09/2019 09:09

DD had carb killa cookie dough which she liked before, only ate two bites and gave it to me.

Not2bObvious · 09/09/2019 11:21

Must be a protein bar day, bought an Aldi hike bar for the first time in ages. Ate half and remembered by I hadn’t had one in ages...fulfil well nicer.
Up a smidge this morning but only .1 up on my average so that’s a cracking start to the week. Over 11,000 steps already done but the last 4 will be in dribs & drabs. Lots of running about today so that’ll help. No idea what to have for dinner

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 09/09/2019 12:12

They're very chewy aren't they not
I've charged my fitbit - grocery shopping this eve though & walk dog - might not get 10k but will do what I can in time I've got

Not2bObvious · 09/09/2019 13:46

Yeah chewy and a bit more like a punishment than a treat, sod that the other half’s going in the bin - I haven’t enough calories to waste them on stuff I don’t like. Not that prepared this week, plenty of food in freezers but no easy dinners iykwim. Sometimes I really dislike being in charge of this, but if I left it to himself we’d be all fat as fools and poor as church mice. As I only work part time, fairs fair. Mind you I always did it!

Happierwithouthim · 09/09/2019 14:17

I'm actually dreading doing the food shop this week. My current aim is to dwindle food in fridge/freezer/cupboards due to moving house at some stage in next few months, but I didn't do a stocktake so don't know what I've got AngryConfused

Ya I feel like that about hike bars too, sometimes I look at them at the counter and think no, fibre ones are more expensive but at least they taste good

lifelongfrugaleer · 09/09/2019 16:37

I'm loving the peanut butter ones at the minute. Nothing other than fulfill for me

Not2bObvious · 09/09/2019 20:55

Wow that’s been a long busy day, just over 19,000 steps and about 100 under cals. I could have eaten a hell of a lot more but I’ve banished myself to the bed as I’m up at 5.15 if I’m going to do a walk before work or 6am if I’m not. Hoping to sleep after all those steps. I need meal inspiration! Smaller one off to a new class tomorrow evening, bigger one was out at her hobby after school today hence around 2 hours of ferrying. This is going to be the new routine so I’ll need to plan for this going forward. I see lots of snack buying, the challenge will be making them somewhat healthy but filling enough to fuel them. Jeez, now I have to add nutritionist to my parent job description after taxi driver/cleaner(not as much as I should)/financier of all things wanted/party planner....going to work is a rest! At least I kinda know what I’m doing thereHmm

lifelongfrugaleer · 10/09/2019 06:46

Not Grin I have no idea about this parent thing.
Flapjack went down well here. Mary berry and about 4 ingredients. Could have lonelys as had to be least sticky.

You might have to send one happier as they only seen to be in Ireland for now. #fuilfilenvy

Into the next lb down bracket now. Pleased things are starting to move

Not2bObvious · 10/09/2019 07:04

Great to be down life, I’m down a bit this morning, same weight as I was on Saturday after going up a bit yesterday. As predicted the pace has slowed, but that’s ok. Average down by .2 - so great not to start with a high number on a Monday & spend the week clawing it back. Utterly exhausted this morning, was after 12 getting to sleep & up at 6am. Long day ahead

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 10/09/2019 07:15

I'm up again. Going to do some 16:8 as I've been being greedy Grin

Wolfcub · 10/09/2019 07:18

Down 1.5lbs apparently exhausting days with no proper eating are good for you. Who knew

Happierwithouthim · 10/09/2019 08:52

WOLF Maybe scales might drop for me too, I seriously under ate on Sunday and my fitbit was dead but there was lots of steps so I think I achieved 70000 plus for last week my elusive 10k a day Grin
Are you exhausted?

159.2 (sts) again today 4 days in a row as not says it's great not to start the week with a bloated inflated weight. I slept for 9 hours straight last night (3 toilet trips but I've no problem getting back to sleep after) Mental stress exhausts me & sleep is the only answer, so restorative.

Winging it as parents all of us I'd say Grin

Ds goes to tae kwon do & dd to brownies(H has them on Mondays)
Thurs options are swimming or acrobatics which I know ds would love but isn't keen, need to decide for this week, I don't want to take one to each and put myself under severe stress. I could do both but I don't want dd to be exhausted for horse riding on fri eve Hmm

Did a very good food shop €120 but €100 with vouchers - 12 chicken breasts, 4 picanha steaks, 12 meatballs, lots of cheeses, pasta, popcorn, 2 irwins sliced pans(not these are incredible for fibre and very filling & reduced to €1.29 a sliced pan in Dunnes this week from €1.79) fruit, pasta sauces, pesto, artichoke hearts for salads, lots of options

wreck will you skip breakfast for the 16:8?

WreckTangled · 10/09/2019 09:17

Yep. I don't usually eat breakfast tbh but have been and have been snacking which is a bad habit to get back into

Happierwithouthim · 10/09/2019 10:09

It is when it's extra food ya.

I'm reducing the amount I eat at snack time so that my meals are more substantial and it seems to be working for me

Not2bObvious · 10/09/2019 10:16

I’ve cut back greatly on the snacking, it’s made a world of difference. I have an evening snack which I thoroughly enjoy but during the day at most I have a cup of soup or a bowl of fruit.
