Finished the day with 100 banked cals, taken myself off to bed before I’m tempted to eat more. Just over 15,000 steps but macros aren’t near hit. But I’m not too hungry eating like this and I’m regular, can’t ask for more😬
I hate dissatisfying meals life, I feel cheated. You’ll get back on track with cals once all this holiday season is done. My younger one is back to school tomorrow so back to normal’ish. I have a wedding in 6 weeks, so that’s my next focus. Operation bust a gut!

Another drop this morning, delighted but then was reminded not to get cocky when my work trousers felt very snug. I have no choice but to keep going, I only have 2 pairs of size 12 trousers, all my jeans are size (vanity!) 10. Apart from my boyfriend jeans that are like something you’d paint in, I haven’t ventured near the rest of them. I like my circulation uncut please😬
Got company over tonight, must stay away from the wine. Long day in work, got up & did a 15 minute Leslie Sansone walk so between that and the usual running about I have a 2500 step start on the day. Lunch is salad with my other Lindt choc for afters.
How’s everyone else getting on? Only a little over 4 months to 2020 I’ve just realised looking at my calendar😱

Dc were in bed at 9 last night, ds came down and threw his lunch out of lunchbox and all over kitchen floor and refused to talk to me when up in bed, so think he's anxious about going back, he's on his way now though. Au pair sent me photos of his naked bum sticking out of couch this morning but later he had his school tracksuit on so all good.

I sat down and watched some tv knowing that both of their lunches were done. Was drained after running 5k with dog and my friend and woke up at 11pm Blush

life I've only had mint choc chip and cookie dough ones before but I though this one was lovely lots of nutty bits in it.

So annoying to have calories wasted on an unfulfilling meal Angry

Star Steps are at a low this week yesterday was first day over 10k
Star Scales dropped by 2lbs today so I'm finally under 160lbs again & average has dropped by almost a lb on last week
Star meeting macros and fibre 3 days out of 3 this week

Irwins 7 seeded sliced pan has been a game changer for me this week 9.4g fibre per 100g, it's more filling too. Kiwis skin on too for fibre -
27g fibre in my breakfast/snack/lunch today.

2 bacon medallions on one slice of bread
1 poached egg on another slice of bread
Toasted ham cheese(high protein from dunnes) tomato & onion with 2 kiwis (skin on) for lunch

not I've a hen party to go to in five weeks time, so that's my next mini goal - would like to be almost in 10s for that so need to stay dedicated, the wedding is maybe 6/7 weeks after that and Christmas after that - possibly first work event myself & bf will attend togetherHmm
4 months in 2020 not ShockSmile

Not2bObvious · 29/08/2019 09:13

Ahh poor little man - going back to school must feel a bit depressing for them. My smaller one was thrilled, my bigger one was devastated, but thankfully no mooning!
Well done on getting back to the 150’s, I’ve a ways to go but down 4lb since Monday so going the right way.

Not2bObvious · 29/08/2019 09:15

Pressed post too soon, I was going to say that you’ll get into the 10’s with your determination happier, for sure. All sounds like it’s going great with the fella🤗

I thought because he was indifferent to it all week that he'd just be grand. At least it's just the two days and then he'll be off again. But his dad has arranged for them to go stay 100 miles away with their brother and family for this weekend. Both dc refused to stay at my parents without me during the summer holidays and see my parents much more regularly than their brother and family so he could be apprehensive about that also.

I'm keeping out of these arrangements because dad is sorting it, he can deal with a call during the night to collect him if it happens too.

I hope I'm the only one she shared the mooning pic with. His default when he's upset/cross is to strip! He streaked around the upper floor of the uniform shop a couple of weeks ago Blush

I'm hoping that I will, back to gym tomorrow eve and getting back into routine of that.

All going well with new guy, it's a relationship that doesn't require any effort we're just both on the one page, we enjoy each other's company and want to spend time together and there are no mind games or battles of will. My last relationship like this was about 17 years ago.

Last weekend we thought we wouldn't see each other & on Sat night my cousins arranged things so that we would and it was as simple as a text, where are you now-I'd love to see you & we met up, I stayed over and we spent the next day together too.

Not2bObvious · 29/08/2019 10:44

Refreshing to have an uncomplicated relationship I’m sure happier, sounds lovely and exciting and fun

Today is a stress eating day

Happierwithouthim · 29/08/2019 14:50

Ah no life what's up?

33g fibre hit by lunchtime today but I've 66g protein to hit with 647, doable with lots of steak or I'm debating protein bar and less steak for dinner

lifelongfrugaleer · 29/08/2019 20:16

You name it at the minute. Pulled it back though.fbw and Zumba done. Need 2 k more steps

Not2bObvious · 29/08/2019 21:48

Must be the night for Zumba! I’m just back from a class but unfortunately it was the last one as they’re switching to mornings which I can’t get to so that’s a pity. Enjoyed it and got an extra 5,000 steps so very pleased with that. And no 🍷 taken, AND banked a few calories.

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 29/08/2019 22:44

Scratch that - spent my cals on peanuts😖

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 30/08/2019 06:38

Sts this morning Smile
Didn't hit steps yesterday, returning to gym this evening & will need to walk dog tonight too if au pair hasn't.

Hit protein with a 0% fat Greek yogurt as an afternoon snack & chicken & sweet potato fries for dinner Star

Hope today's a better day life
Pity about Zumba not

lifelongfrugaleer · 30/08/2019 07:14

That's a shame about Zumba not. It's not my favourite class and only go of in meeting a friend. But it's fun and gets steps in.
Everything hit and 100 Cal banked.
Can't go today as my new fridge slot is 1210-1510. Gym is 12-1245.
WFH so steps will be a challenge but walking to the pub tonight for a gin night

Not2bObvious · 30/08/2019 07:18

Down another smidge today, average is still high due to very high Monday weight but next week should be a lot better. Just under a pound heavier than I was going away, so that’s not too shabby.
Hope you have a better day life

I’ve found another class a drive away, it wouldn’t be my first choice either but I’m limited with my crotchety back. I’m thinking maybe aqua aerobics? It’s less about the calorie burn for me right now - more about getting out. Long boring evenings lead to snacking & I have got to shift the weight

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 30/08/2019 09:03

I've seen aqua aerobics class and it looks fun, benefit of you being supported by water so easier on your back hopefully.

I don't love Zumba either but did a course of it a few years ago just to get out too

Embracethechaos · 30/08/2019 09:17

Morning, I've been trying to lose baby weightsince baby was about 6 months, baby is 14 months now. Not really been committed, just mopy. I need to buy new scales. My current one you can stand out n three times in a row and I get different readings. I'm using my fitness Pal. A little tedious but dinner today is leftover yesterday so just copied it over.

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 30/08/2019 11:19

Hi all.
Still not 100%, I'm back to work on Monday, at a conference, so I'm hoping to be better by then.
Anyway my steps yesterday were 15645, so not too bad.
Food wise wasn't great
B- cheerios, coffee
L- fruit salad, coffee and a vegan cookie
D- 2 wraps with hummus, vegan chicken slices, water, and then juice.
Then later, crisps and I cooked some onion rings. When I don't have the dcs with me, I tend to snack on the unhealthy stuff and I have realised this for a while, I do like lots of healthy food, but equally like lots of crap too. I don't ban foods because I don't want the dcs thinking that there are "bad" foods.

So when I was doing the online shop, I didn't put any treat stuff in.
The dcs are going to be a bit disappointed because they usually have snack boxes with 7 treats in, at least 3 of those would have been fruit based, so raisins, fruit winder, cranberries etc, and the rest would have been along the lines of chocolate, crisps, crackers small Kipling cakes etc.
The idea of them having one a day, this was working quite well, and they were still eating the fruit and yoghurts, but not so much now. The dcs are aware that this is happening, but any tips on how I can make it easier?
And how I can stop reaching for all the goodies, haha!
I mean I won't buy any, but I have a local sainsbury's just round the corner and when the dcs are not here, it is just way to easy to pop in.

Thank you and sorry for the epic post!

Happierwithouthim · 30/08/2019 11:36

curvy I like your idea of 7 treats in a snack box.

Last week I only bought a 9 pk of popcorn and nothing else in the line of treats as last thurs eve I bought a 9pk of single twirls and by Sat morn they were all gone & I ate one and au pair isn't keen on chocolate! Ridiculous.

They get treats at dh's very often and there were icecreams in the freezer so they had options. I just told them I was sick of them eating loads of sweets and the summer holidays were over. I did ransack the presses myself looking for stuff hidden away but found nothing & I've kept to my cals and macros every day this week too!

Ds looked for strawberries this morning but Wexford ones which are sold on the side of the road and are just epic Smile I might be able to achieve it this weekend as au pair and I are both travelling to Cork, not together! but after that I won't !

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 30/08/2019 11:48

Happier, the snack boxes worked really well for a good while. Their dad has a huge sweet tooth and they definitely get more when they are with him, plus they had a huge amount of sweets when we were on holiday, so need to get back on track.
I have eaten all my treats now, so will just have to have some will power.
Ooh those strawberries sounds lovely, I had strawberries, blueberries and yoghurt for breakfast.
Enjoy Cork, I've always wanted to visit Ireland and the republic, maybe one day.

Happierwithouthim · 30/08/2019 13:50

If you are coming over let me know.

They're the sweetest juiciest strawberries that are sold from huts on the side of the road, but not in the county I live in!

There's nothing like them in the shops.

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 30/08/2019 13:56

Happier, I will!
