Another 1lb on.

Not2bObvious · 26/08/2019 17:34

I think the hot weather just exacerbates fluid retention, certainly does with me anyway.
Today is going quite good so far, just over 13,000 steps and under 1,000 cals so far. I’ll eat more than that of course but it might mean I can bank a few cals for another day. I’ve set my daily to 1600. Hoping to see a little drop on the scales number in the morning.

My steps are shite today on about 6200. Been out and about but not much stepping. Over due to a magnum too.

Next week will be a challenge as need to drive a lot for childcare. Maintain next week. Back to it totally 2 September. Possibly the 3rd

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 26/08/2019 18:56

Ahhh, feel like rubbish, have had a cold since I went to Scotland, hopefully it will shift soon.
Anyway, steps have been rubbish the last couple of days, but not been eating much, due to loss of appetite.
Going out tomorrow to get last school bits, so will get some steps in then.

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/08/2019 06:13

Yo-yo lb 1/2 down.
Hope I can flush done of the water retention away today.

Not2bObvious · 27/08/2019 07:13

I hate colds curvy, and there’s something particularly yuck about a cold in hot weather. Hope it life’s soon.
Down 1.4 this morning, still like a butter ball. Doing my long day with an early start but I got a good sleep so I feel able for it. It’s a challenge to get my steps on these days but I gotta get them done!

I’m hoping to sweat 5lbs off today. I’m currently on the tube (hotter than the sun) and London is due to hit 32 today. I could not be less excited to go to work Hmm

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/08/2019 08:47

Urgh. Tube in hot weather

Wolfcub · 27/08/2019 09:09

1lb of weekend bloat gone

Not2bObvious · 27/08/2019 09:51

Nice one wolf, easy on/easy off
Argggggggg Lindt chocs in the office. Took 2 with the intention of having one after lunch today and one after lunch my next day in. Let’s see how I do

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 27/08/2019 09:52

Not, thanks and yes it is always worse when it is warm.
I'm sorry for any of you who have to use the tube today, hopefully you/your work has lots of 🍶 or Brew, whatever makes the journey a bit more bearable.
Hope it goes life, well done wolf.

Happierwithouthim · 27/08/2019 12:25

Ooh Lindt chocolate, it's just irresistible isn't it.

I've told bf if he does something wrong buying me that would help, but it would also be admission of guilt Grin

Stuck to bed yesterday morning and forgot to weigh but I sts today since Sat so I'm ok with that after one bottle of full strength wine and one 5.5% wine on Sat night, plus cake and two slices of pizza Smile

Not2bObvious · 27/08/2019 12:31

Was Saturday the night out you’d been staying off the drink til happier? As they say there’s no shame in a maintain😉 Nice one.
Lovely day here, off for a 30 minute potter soon and then a salad for lunch. Managed not to snack at all since my protein rich brekkie just after 6 this morning. Quite enjoying salad after all the rich food over the last couple of weeks

OP posts:
CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 27/08/2019 20:16

Just about did enough steps today 10233.
Got the dcs their last bits for school, just need to wash it all and iron it.
My head is killing me and I still feel all chesty and snotty, so going to head to bed soon.

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/08/2019 21:01

Went to pump and Zumba so everything hit.
Rest up curvy

Not2bObvious · 27/08/2019 21:55

Sounds great life, I just walked today, miss a bit of vigorous exercise but these days if I sneeze I set my back off, old crock that I am.
Managed to eat only 1 of the Lindt balls as planned - dead proud of myself😬

Weighed in at SW, lost 3.5lb this week. Quite pleased with that! I need to lose another 11lb to get back to where I was in spring and then keep going. Going to try hard over the next 12 weeks, other than a couple of isolated events.

lifelongfrugaleer · 28/08/2019 06:55

I hadn't done or for ages but I go with a friend so we can catch up.
Well done sea.

Missed fibre yesterday.

Not2bObvious · 28/08/2019 07:26

Well done sea, that’s a quarter of a stone in a week, you must have really stuck to the plan like glue.
Another bit down this morning but I can’t get complacent. I’m not eating as much bread and I haven’t eaten crisps/drank wine or had any great amounts of anything. When I have a few days low cal, I’m inclined to break out - must not do this.
I haven’t been nearly hitting my fibre for the last 10 days, and I’ve never had better luck in the movement area, excuse my crassnessBlush My macros aren’t great although I am trying to eat more protein to keep fuller.

2/8ths more bloat gone. Holiday beer is not helping

Happierwithouthim · 28/08/2019 09:06

Sounds like we're all feeling very positive.

Yesterday was my first day not walking new dog since we got her, dc didn't want to go and I hadn't enough time before they came home and the weather was just crap. I'm running with a friend this evening so I'll bring dog too.

Gym Fri evening then/run with dog sat morning and away with bf then Sat night, hopefully there'll be a good bit of walking in it I want to check out Spike Island if I can!

Scales was down to 161.6 this morning. I've stayed within cals so far this week and hit my protein & almost hit fibre so I'm good with that. Due a trip to Iceland to stock up on Steamfresh veg too, because I ran out at weekend.

I'm sick of 0% yogurt at the moment so yesterday I skipped that 10am snack and was fine, meant I could have Breyers Delight Choc & Hazelnut Icecream last night le yum as em would say and today I've skipped early breakfast and am making 10am breakfast time. Lunch will be last nights dinner on repeat so Dinner after run tonight will just be a big snack really.

Intermittent fasting of sorts I suppose!

Was in bed asleep at 9.30 last night so steps were poor, but I needed the sleep. I need school bedtimes back as much as the dc do Smile
Ordered myself a pack of wellwoman vitamins for a post summer boost, must check I'm not overdosing on anything if I take alongside revive active Grin

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 28/08/2019 13:48

Thanks life, the sleep helped a bit and I feel slightly better. Well done on the exercise. I need to start doing it again, will just have to get the routine back again.

Today will be an indoor day, just cleaning and tidying ready for next week when I go back to work and the kids back to school.

Sea, that is a great loss, well done!

Not, you sound like you are doing well, remember to not be so hard on yourself.

Happier, I hear you! I need to get back to a routine and school is so good for that!

Hope you all have a great day.

lifelongfrugaleer · 28/08/2019 15:03

I like that one happier. The berry chic chip isn't nice think. Tastes of sweetener to me.

lifelongfrugaleer · 28/08/2019 20:00

Way over calories today as a very dissatisfied tapas for lunch. Came out still hungry

lifelongfrugaleer · 28/08/2019 20:10

So my average calories are over buy up to 200 a week in the last couple of weeks.
My weekly step average is 12.5 k.
I will be back into the work routine week after next as WFH next week all week.

I am going to focus on getting steps to 15k average and food under 18 for 2 weeks then reassess.
