Hi all.
Food was alright yesterday and today.
Did a few gentle exercises last night as I was a bit sore from doing lots of housework.
Steps today weren't bad either, 12457

Happierwithouthim · 17/06/2019 17:41

Delighted with it not2 we'll see how I get on with it.
Have decided I'm going to do a half marathon in sept so mon eve is going to be my long run evening, I used to do these at weekends but my lifestyle isn't lending itself to that right now so this is my plan now.

My steps should improve with standing desk too right?

lifelongfrugaleer · 17/06/2019 17:51

Oh I would love a standing desk. All those steps. Having a good day today. Had a kit kat in my spare calories.
I have all those veg already except the steam fresh so might try them on offer but thanks for the suggestions. I will just have to stop being lazy.

Not2bObvious · 17/06/2019 21:24

Curious here, how would your steps improve at a standing desk. Unless of course you step as you stand, which I do in between typing but that’s cause I’m in my kitchen with no one there. But aside from that, I think you burn something a lot more calories from the effort of standing as opposed to sitting. Well done on deciding to do a half happier, I tried a jog this morning and my blooming hip was nagging me. Finding a brisk walk my limit the last week.
I have had a good day, cals under, steps over 18,000. Now only 9 more of them to go and I might drop a couple of pounds before I go away. May or may not weight in tomorrow - just depresses me

Will done on signing up to the half happier. Mixed that in the excitement of a standing desk.
Down today to 126.5 so 2lb off from the weekend.
Going to try body pump today, without squats

WreckTangled · 18/06/2019 06:53

Right everyone I'm back!

Have had an awful three days good wise (mine and dds birthday) but despite that an 0.2lb down from Saturday and my lowest ever. That's given me the motivation I need Grin

Shame the weather I looking so awful

lifelongfrugaleer · 18/06/2019 07:55

Welcome back wreck

Not2bObvious · 18/06/2019 07:56

That’s brilliant wreck, nice start to the week. I haven’t weighed since Sunday, I was going to this morning but thought I’d give it another day of normal eating before I faced it. Early morning brisk walk has me at just over 5,700, just under 10,000 to go (thought I was great til I realised that)

Happierwithouthim · 18/06/2019 08:14

I think not2 because I'm already on my feet I'll move more Hmm
And I think that's meant to be true about calorie burn too
Hoping posture will be good too

Saw 158.3 this morning on scales so will wait until it drops a bit more before I start recording alcohol just wrecks my average Grin

In other big news my babies slept in separate rooms last night for first time, dd just decided. Ds wasn't best pleased & was out to top of stairs several times until I went up & lay beside him he fell asleep in two minutes then.
They're 9 & 5.5.

Not2bObvious · 18/06/2019 17:18

I’ve been starving all day, I learned the other day boredom can be considered an emotion. So I’ve been emotionally eating I guess. I was under by 200 yesterday so at least I’ve a bit of a buffer.

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 18/06/2019 19:26

I really liked the meatballs. Ds didn't mind them. Dh and dd didn't like them. So fed up of cooking separate meals!

Not2bObvious · 18/06/2019 19:49

That’s a big step for the kids happier, hope tonight goes easy too. It’s so cute and also a bit sad when they start little bits of growing up (lip quivers)
That’s a pain in the arse wreck, there’s a little bit of mixed meals here at the moment cause I’m trying to clear out my freezer before our hols. Or I’m eating lighter cause of my never ending diet!

WreckTangled · 18/06/2019 19:56

Will be 122 cals under once I've had my hot chocolate in a minute.

We only have two bedrooms so my dc share still. Although dd ended up in my bed again last night...

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 18/06/2019 20:47

Evening all.
I've eat really well today, wholemeal toast for breakfast, a huge salad with some falafel and hummus, some berries and an alpro yoghurt for lunch. Dinner was a quick pepper stir fry and lots of water.
DD2 ate at her friends house.
Dd2, has been waking up between 4 and 5 am for about a week now, I'm so exhausted!
Steps today 17945.

Not2bObvious · 18/06/2019 20:52

Nice steps curvy, especially when you must have been exhausted!
Another one whose kids have to share, spare room needed for weekly visitor, too difficult to switch back/forth. Not ideal with age diff of 4 years, teenager/tweenager, the emotions run high most days.
Well over on cals, totm coming, might be part of the problem

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 18/06/2019 21:32

Ah not my younger two are 14 and 9, I feel your pain!
Yes I was surprised with the steps, I've only walked a bit extra today, but goes to show really.
Will be heading to bed soon, so tired!

Not2bObvious · 18/06/2019 21:36

14 & 10 here curvy, I’d say you know my pain as well as feel it...bitter sob😂

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 18/06/2019 21:41

Haha not, oh the joys!

WreckTangled · 19/06/2019 06:49

STS this morning as yesterday which I'm really pleased about. Average is 0.5lb down on last week so far so hopefully I can keep it up.

Weather is miserable but mild. Am planning jacket potato and chilli for dinner 😋 usually I just have chilli and forgo any carbs (apart from beans) but I've been craving one for ages.

WreckTangled · 19/06/2019 13:20

I don't feel too well today and I'm really tired 😓

WreckTangled · 19/06/2019 16:39

I just had some of dds birthday cake so I'll be 189 calories over for today.

Happierwithouthim · 19/06/2019 17:50

Lunch today & yesterday love that nothings forbidden & I'm not gaining weight Smile

How are you feeling now wreck?

About 1600 extra steps using standing desk compared to usual

Going to gym now because friend who I was meant to be walking with hadn't got back to me, I can leave if she comes back to me.

Curvy yesterday sounded really good, maybe all the steps tired you out?

How's everyone's day gone?

Bedtime was grand last night too

Update she got in touch so meeting her in 50 mins so I'm going to do a short few minutes in gym first

WreckTangled · 19/06/2019 18:17

I'm ok thanks. I think it's because I hadn't eaten then I had a cup of tea and it made me feel a bit Bleurgh

lifelongfrugaleer · 19/06/2019 19:21

218 over today and 3k steps left to do. Had a unexpected greggs which knocked my day out and too many bags to carry home.
