Average up .3 with 2 weigh ins to go. I’ll be doing well to see a loss this week

lifelongfrugaleer · 07/06/2019 13:06

Haha. You can give into anything except temptation then. Fair enough. I'm eating all sorts of stuff today. WFH to much temptation

Not2bObvious · 07/06/2019 15:10

I missed your 2lb off wolf, that’s brilliant. You could just skip the weekend weigh ins, weigh in Tuesday/Wednesday? I’m weary of seeing weekend gains

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 07/06/2019 17:13

Record low of 2240 steps so far :)

Happierwithouthim · 07/06/2019 18:56

I wouldn't have much more most days at this point of the day usually life thanks to being changed to a desk all day Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 07/06/2019 20:18

WFH all day. Hate it. Done nothing but eat too

Not2bObvious · 07/06/2019 21:02

That’s severe (practically hospitalised) hangover steps for me life, literally bed to loo to kitchen and repeat repeat repeat😂

I actually do decent when I wfh, maybe cause I do feck all work! In fairness the week you’ve had with cameras etc. a quiet day would do no harm

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 08/06/2019 07:26

Weight continues to rise, unsurprisingly. Will sort it Monday as for a weekend away today

WreckTangled · 08/06/2019 08:27

Hmm 1lb down on my scales to lowest ever. Not sure I believe it... back on it today I suppose not sure I can't be bothered with exercise though!

Not2bObvious · 08/06/2019 09:50

Up .4 on yesterday so average is still looking like .3 up on last week - I don’t think I should get too bent out of shape by 150gr or so. Of course it could be worse by tomorrow but all in all I think I’ll just call this a maintenance week.
That’s brilliant wreck, are you not working today? I’m not sure how I feel about exercise either.
Have a great weekend away life, and happier did you get away too? I need to try on holiday clothes and start setting stuff aside, excited!

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 08/06/2019 09:54

Nope no work. I only do it ad hoc Smile I feel like my bloating has gone which is weird as I had lots of carbs yesterday.

Going to try and make some 'energy balls' today for DD's lunchbox as she's always complaining that I'm the worst mum ever as she's the only person in the whole school who doesn't have a chocolate bar or crisps in her lunchbox every day.

Wolfcubisthefemalenominal · 08/06/2019 10:22

Well done Wreck. I’m up 1 from yesterday

Happierwithouthim · 08/06/2019 11:33

Hey there everyone
So I went back to the gym yesterday evening 2k on treadmill 1k on rowing machine deadlifts lateral pulldowns sit-ups with 10kg weightplate & some squats with a kettle bell, my back & arms ache it's been 4 weeks since I did a decent gym workout Blush so had ambitions to go today again but I won't I'll go for a run instead.
We didn't go away not2 he couldn't(learned my lesson about surprising him), I debated going by myself as I'll be charged anyhow but didn't bother, came home had a can of cloudy lemonade cider & watched emmerdale, read my kindle until way too late & haven't got up yet Grin

Scales says -1.1 so I'll possibly sts this week after all Grin

That's still ok wolf
Wreck any loo visit that's normal the cause of my bloating Blush
Not2 speaking of holiday clothes I accidentally brought the wrong pair of trousers in my bag yesterday & after gym changed into them & they fit Smile

WreckTangled · 08/06/2019 11:45

Ta da!

Not2bObvious · 08/06/2019 12:38

Oooh, they look interesting wreck My littler ones school doesn’t allow crisps and only meant to have something treatlike on Friday (although she says some come in everyday with sweets) and no nuts in case of allergies. I never liked the idea of treats everyday, but as they’re getting older it’s so much harder, esp as my older one is out of sight with school being a bus ride away. I’m doing my best but judging by wrappers I find (too lazy to cover tracks), it’s going to be an ongoing battle.
That’s a pity about the night away happier, hope you weren’t stung too badly. Hotels are so €€€ these days in Ireland, can’t remember a truly reasonable hotel stay in a long time. Yay on the loss! And excellent gym time. I’m assuming these were trousers you thought wouldn’t fit? Go you!

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 08/06/2019 12:45

Mine allow two unhealthy things a day Hmm I think they need to be way stricter but I know I'm in the minority. I spend my days weighing overweight children and it's just getting worse. Our school is nut free too so these don't have nuts in.

Happierwithouthim · 08/06/2019 13:10

Our school used to allow treat on Fridays not crisps because too messy but have become a pilot school for healthy eating so no treats at all now. Although they overlooked this for first time ever on thurs school tour!

Yes trousers I thought were too tight.

It was €99 not so not the end of the world & he did offer to give it to me but he wasn't at fault.
He wants to stay in hotel wedding we're going to next weekend & its €242 which is absolutely not worth it at all especially 5 mins from his house

Not2bObvious · 08/06/2019 13:20

That’s a lovely nsv happier, well done! The scales only tells one story, clothes are the real test. €99 isn’t shocking, €242, that’s a bit rich! Although I do love staying over at weddings. I’m tired now, after my jog/walk to the shops, relaxing for a bit. Company over last night but just ourselves tonight so I’m going to cook something nice & kick back

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 08/06/2019 13:40

I do too but it's crazy amount for the luxury of walking upstairs instead of getting a taxi 5 mins home.

I know myself that I'm ready now to push on to loose more basically took May off May Maintenance Month Grin

I like the feeling of fitting into smaller clothes

Nice to have house to yourselves

Happierwithouthim · 08/06/2019 16:39

Vitamin Sea Grin Run done ✅
Needed that therapy of being on the beach just me and my music.
I was on a bit of a downer because of hurting my back and not being able to do anything all week & then being disappointed last night too.
Had a long time thinking last night & today & refocused on me and losing. I was very happy & strong while I was single for 11 months & want to be careful not to lose that too.
I've noticed when I stay at his I get no time for exercise on that childfree time so I'm going to make a conscious effort to change that.

Have plan for next weekend already dc are away fri to sun eve, going to exercise Friday night & then enjoy wedding sat & recover sun & get a walk in on sun eve before they come home.

Invited friends over tonight for drinks just now GrinWine

Oh wow happier, what a lovely place! Nothing like the sea air. Sounds like you worked lots of things out, good plan in place now. Ok slight problem with my dinner plans, himself is fitting an appliance and my kitchen is out of action for who knows how long. The kids would kill for Chinese or chipper. I don’t know whether to just try work around him or give it up as a bad job and go out to buy fast food

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 08/06/2019 19:01

Managed to work around it, hake with green beans, chorizo & paprika cubed potatoes. We’ll see what it tastes like

Happierwithouthim · 08/06/2019 19:37
