Steps not too spectacular, just over 11,000 - I’ll do my best to get my other 4,000 in. I’m not sure if this is a tactic that might work for you wreck (or I’ve said it before), but maybe set a specific number of cals for sweet stuff & aim to stick to it 1 day at a time. I’m trying to allow a max of 20% but aiming for around 15%. I’ve also started to avoid specific trigger foods during the week, in my case crisps. I kind of prefer a couple of crackers with cheese and it feels like I’m getting some good out of them.
First day on lower cals, so far so good. I guess it’s about finding alternatives that scratch the itch, would fruit be any good?

Sorry to hear you have hurt your back happier. You keep gently mobile. Any takers on the house?
What cals are your on now not2. I'm on on 1800 for today.

Happierwithouthim · 04/06/2019 19:26

Wreck I just have a much smaller portion of chips than before, so my plate is more full with veg & protein with just a few chips.

Today I made sweet potato chips to go with steak veg & onions

Not2bObvious · 04/06/2019 19:35

I’m trying around 1650 life, I had been trying 1750 the last 2 weeks. Over that time I averaged around 1950 and I lost 2.5lb. So I’m going to try a bit harder. Sadly I went wayyyy over yesterday so I’m going to have to stick to around 1500 for the rest of the weekSad But you know there’s been days in the past where I’ve been quite happy at 1400-1500 a day, I just need the extra cals at the weekend. Just a pity my BH Monday was so indulgent

lifelongfrugaleer · 04/06/2019 20:23

Ok 1500 is tight. In sure you will smash it though.
I'm 74 over as had a digestive as feeling shakey after having a nose camera. Too much protein last coupe of days, need more carbs but need ideas that isn't pasta

Not2bObvious · 04/06/2019 20:49

Oooooh no, nose camera! Are you ok? I don’t blame you feeling shaky, that’s hard. I’m just under 1500 and have taken myself off to bed, a bit under protein but nothing startling. I feel good enough, just over 12,000 steps and that will do. I’m not stressing myself

0.4 down this morning .6 away from lowest. I think it's just going to be one of those weeks no way is it the doughnut Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 05/06/2019 07:08

I'm having investigation for a lumpy throat. Need a barium x-ray next. 126.8 today so seem to be ok on maintenance cals. Pilates new thingy today. Wreck it can't be the donut. Nope

Not2bObvious · 05/06/2019 07:46

Yumm doughnuts...I managed to resist one last week but boy it was hard. I wish there was still dunkin donuts, no wait maybe it’s best there isn’t! Waiting to do my weigh, hopefully Monday’s pizza (and wine, and ice cream/crisps/chocolate) has left my system. I think I know why I managed on 1500 yesterday, I was still living off the previous day😂
That sounds quite unpleasant life, when’s the X-ray? Nice work on the maintenance, how you finding 1800?

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 05/06/2019 08:08

I’m 2lb up from my lightest, meh to be expected after my weekend of plenty. Head down and keep going, will probably hold off weighing until Friday as I’m trying to stop being so obsessive. Don’t want to spend the rest of my life on/off the scales, may as well try to start sooner rather than later

lifelongfrugaleer · 05/06/2019 08:08

They will send me an appointment. Might also need an endo. Loving 1800 feels like loads. Need more carbs though. I'm eating too much fibre and protein

Happierwithouthim · 05/06/2019 08:35

Had to google barium xray there, life you're having a tough time of it right now.

I faced the scales this morning 157.2

Keeping steps at about 5k life and watching mfp, yesterday 94kcals over short 5g protein but 51g fibre Shock
I just ate food, no sh*te.

Protein shake for breakfast with berries/avocado/allbran/fage/almond milk
Lunch was a ham & cheese toastie with 2 kiwis(skin on)
Dinner was steak with sweet potato chips, pepper sauce, onions & veg

Today I'm planning something similar just food, stopping rooting in the sweet press by night!

Breakfast - skinny sausages on wholemeal bagel
Snack - Kvarg yogurt with passion fruit & golden crunch
Lunch - Heinz creation lentil curry with chicken & veg

Luckily doughnuts aren't a weakness of mine but I've got many others Grin

No takers on the house yet but it's early days I guess

Happierwithouthim · 05/06/2019 08:35

What is going on with the company we subscribe to? Mention on legal action and affiliates dropping like flies Hmm

Not2bObvious · 05/06/2019 11:11

Oh it all kicked off big style on Monday I think? Yeah not good

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 05/06/2019 11:31

Saw someone proudly post their subscription cancellation on instagram yesterday

Not2bObvious · 05/06/2019 11:54

There’s a lot of that alright. I felt a bit lost with it all the last while so I think I’ll pop away too, no grand gestures though! I’ll still follow the method which does work if you do it. Save myself a few quid!

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 05/06/2019 12:00

I've not even been using the facebook groups for a few months now but I'm slow to cancel because its not expensive and I think it keeps me focused

Not2bObvious · 05/06/2019 12:02

I can remember if you were using the app happier? I never bothered and since a lot of the people I like to follow do videos outside of the group - I don’t think I’ll lose much. There’s a lot come out that’s at odds with my beliefs & mindset so maybe it’s just come to a natural end for me.

goingonabearhunt1 · 05/06/2019 17:42

Today has been OK so far though I am craving sugar (holding fast so far though!) Having pasta for tea as it's spin class tonight so a few more calories allowed (still portioned of course). Have been quite organised with bringing my lunch to work so will try and continue with that as it tends to keep me on track as I can plan what I'll eat the night before.

goingonabearhunt1 · 05/06/2019 17:43

I know that if I lose a few more lbs my stomach will look so much better which in turns means all my clothes look better so just trying to aim for that.

lifelongfrugaleer · 05/06/2019 18:29

Oh I've missed the kick off. Where is it?

lifelongfrugaleer · 05/06/2019 18:30

I don't have Instagram

Not2bObvious · 05/06/2019 18:53

I have Instagram I just can’t figure it out😂
Basically an affiliate left and there was threats of legal action, then all kicked off and loads have left - members/some affiliates/a couple of coaches. Bit unpleasant

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 05/06/2019 19:00

Oh no.

Happierwithouthim · 05/06/2019 19:38

Hmm not2 maybe it would be the frugal thing to do Smile

Went for a walk this evening possibly thought I could manage it because of using ibuprofen gel earlier will know later.

My quick lunch at work - some chicken, pack of steam fresh veg, Heinz creations lentil curry 415 cals with 50g protein and 9g fibre Grin

Making granary bread sandwiches for tomo with chicken/cheese/tomato/coleslaw or might leave coleslaw on side & make it a toasty with salad

Not using app not2 life has it

Goingonabearhunt bringing lunch is a winner
