Yeah I know it can be a quandary wreck to record it, the only thing is it helps show week on week like I’ve seen today. And honestly, it’s only about the weight of a pint glass filled with water, only 725 grams.

Pilates and manic heavy lifting house cleaning. It all counts.

Not2bObvious · 03/06/2019 13:51

Just finished an hour on the treadmill, alternating between brisk walking & light jogging. Nearly 8,500 steps - don’t know if I’ll manage 15,000 today but I’ll do my best. Head thumping, taken some painkillers and then I’ll get ready for my lunch out. No wine today 🤢

Had an early dinner as ds was starving. 250 cals left.

Sweet potato pakora and salad
Mango
Protein bar

Beetroot burger with couscous, spinach and humous.

Oh and a gifflar cinnamon roll at work. Only one, so proud of me Grin

Not2bObvious · 03/06/2019 21:06

Oh dear, rather a munchie day. I’m sure I’ll see a significant gain tomorrow since I ate all the carbs. At the very least I got my steps. I’m beyond exhausted now with a banging headache. Early start tomorrow, but it will mean an early’ish finish.
Nice work wreck, 250 is above after dinner snack amount, hope everyone is having a good Monday?

A nice after dinner snack amount - this phone 😡

98 under and going to bed in a sec. forgot to add my mango earlier.

Not have you drunk enough today? Do you just need a good nights sleep?

lifelongfrugaleer · 03/06/2019 21:23

Not go to bed love and start again tomorrow. Plenty of water for you tomorrow.
Smashed it all today. Let's see if I can manage more than 4 days this time

Not2bObvious · 03/06/2019 21:29

Thanks guys, oh I really do need a decent sleep. Yes I’ll claw back the overeat over the next few days, it’s the darn bank holiday with celebrating that’s been my downfall.
Night all

Feel at bit achy from the new class and physio.
No weights this week so will seek out Pilates based workouts. Been referred to another specialist physio. £40 again. Hey ho. My MH is worth it.

WreckTangled · 04/06/2019 06:52

Down a bit but still 1lb off my lowest. I've recorded and my Fitbit now helpfully tells me I've lost 1.6lb since April 26th 😭 really need to sort my weekend binges out. I'm only aiming for 1/2lb a week as I think that's realistic but still not getting it.

Not2bObvious · 04/06/2019 07:20

Great that you’re down wreck
I hadn’t time nor humour to weigh myself this morning, I didn’t sleep I went into a coma! Woke at 5.30 and felt like crying knowing I had to get up at 6.10 & make my food for the day (normally get it done night before) Going to need another early night tonight. I’ve no doubt I’d have been up a couple so maybe it was better. I’ll have to be extra vigilant today so that tiredness doesn’t mess up my choices
Time for coffee

Back to mfp today after the bank holiday weekend.

I've injured my back somehow so exercise is taking a back seat.

Pity because I was just getting back into it but I'll concentrate on my decluttering at home in the meantime.

Not2bObvious · 04/06/2019 10:33

Decluttering will keep you busy and away from the food, just as valuable as exercise in a way and you’ll see a return from it quicker. Hope your back improves soon.
I’m going to eat to appetite rather than macros today, I’ve around 500 left if I stick to the food I’ve planned. I don’t want to eat all of them as I’d like to claw back some of the excess I inhaled yesterday.

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 04/06/2019 11:17

Actually only 400, dropping my cals by 100. Need to tighten everything up for the next 3 weeks

WreckTangled · 04/06/2019 11:19

I bought doughnuts. And fig rolls. Am taking the doughnuts into work though so will only have one. Have input everything into mfp and if I stick to it I'll be within cals.

WreckTangled · 04/06/2019 12:07

Am also going to exercise later. Had a rest day yesterday.

goingonabearhunt1 · 04/06/2019 14:50

Hi Everyone,

Can I join the thread?

I have been losing weight slowly for over a year now but have recently regained some so now back to strict tracking.

Today has been good so far though I'm feeling a bit rubbish. Planning on going straight home after work and an early night to avoid any sugar binges!

Happierwithouthim · 04/06/2019 15:18

Of course you can goingonabearhunt we're a friendly bunch who mostly calorie count but some follow slimming world and others just watch what they eat.

Our ultimate aim is to be good role models to our children while losing weight eating the foods we enjoy and adopting healthier lifestyles

goingonabearhunt1 · 04/06/2019 16:38

Sounds good happier yep I calorie count too as I'm not a fan of too many 'rules' for myself, that is just what works for me. Luckily I mostly eat homemade food and I love vegetables so that part is easy but unfortunately I also loved baked goods and wine! Grin

goingonabearhunt1 · 04/06/2019 16:40

I've been using MFP for a while now and it has taught me a lot about portion control etc. I am now more careful about where I 'waste' calories so it's more a planned treat than an accidental binge IYKWIM.

WreckTangled · 04/06/2019 16:41

Welcome going

Ds actually said to me just as I was getting ready to do my tabata 'mummy why do you exercise?' So it was a perfect opportunity to explain about being fit and healthy, reminding him that he does loads of running around/football/biking during the day but because of my job I don't which is why I do it at home. Dh is a builder so he does loads and is really fit (and muscly phoar Wink).

Any alternatives for evening carbs? I've already swapped out pasta for couscous thanks to your suggestions but what about when others have chips (maybe once a week?). I have some frozen butternut squash can I just roast that in the oven? Maybe with onion and some broccoli? Hmm

lifelongfrugaleer · 04/06/2019 16:42

Mmmmm baked goods. ....

WreckTangled · 04/06/2019 16:42

I have such a sweet tooth. I often wonder if I gave it all up for a month I wouldn't want it so much but I've decided life is too short for that Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 04/06/2019 17:13

Steps are crap today because got a lift both ways to and from work. Food Bob on
