Hey everyone,
I dont remember the last time I posted but i’ve been reading still. I’ve had some issues with the app so now just using it on the browser which means I forget to check it.

I see that you’re all doing well and getting on with it . Life I hope you see the physio soon.

My weigh in from sunday was 16st 5. I lost 4lbs last week and brings total loss to 4st 2lbs which i am extremely happy about. I dont know what to expect this week though. Being honest my period is late and I feel so bloated and lethargic so hoping this doesnt impact on sunday’s weigh in. Also I realise there’s potential i could be pregnant and as hard as it is to say, im not sure how i would feel if i was (although im only 2 days late, negative test, have previous for irregular cycles but have been very regular for the last 8-9 months.) we do want another baby but right now? I dont know. I guess its a wait and see game for the next few days.

It’s horrible rainy muggy weather here too so that doesn’t help my mood - ds2 and I are having a lazy day today, we’ve had a tea party with buzz & woody so far. Im just having a cuppa and we’re watching twirlywoos at the minute. Maybe some painting later on. Hope everyone else has a nice day and sorry for turning this post into a big moan!

Not2bObvious · 30/05/2019 10:00

I was wondering how you were getting on zebra, incredible losses. Gosh that’s a bit of a mind melter, I’m done with babies now but I know I’d be in a tailspin if it was a possibility. It might just be linked to the weight loss in some way. Yeah it’s a miserable muggy day here too, I got drowned by a constant mist of rain when on my walk - believed the forecast and brought no brollyAngry

zebrarobot · 30/05/2019 10:28

Thanks Not im really starting to see a difference in the mirror now too. Looked back at some old pics and couldnt believe the difference.

I did think the same myself that it’s possibly connected to the weight loss. Time will tell I guess. we’re definitely not against the idea and will hopefully have another baby but with money, work and the journey im on with this weight loss i wouldnt feel entirely ready to be pregnant right this minute. That said we would embrace it if it has happened. The last reason is vain i know but its true. This year was about me finally getting myself sorted and im half way there and dont want to stop.

I could really do with some sunshine though. It’s so easy to hide indoors and not move when it’s like this. We walked ds1 to school and got soaked through. I was wishing I could jump in the buggy under the raincover with the toddler ! If only

Happierwithouthim · 30/05/2019 14:02

I got into a smaller pair of jeans this morning so nsv is keeping me happy Grin

zebra that's a tough one, worth splashing out on a digital clear blue test for peace of mind maybe. If it was me I'd like to know one way or another.

I'm like not2 I'm totally finished, my dd is 9 and ds 5.5, I'm still young but I'm done with babies. Love my niece but no yearning for more dc.

I totally get what you say about enjoying your new figure too, and that's not selfish either. If you are pregnant you can continue losing weight safely, I've a friend who recently had baby #5 and she finished pregnancy much lighter than she started it. Your weight loss will help with a healthier pregnancy also and you've got the good habits now of moving more too.

Not2bObvious · 30/05/2019 15:34

Woohoo happier! That’s a super feeling - I hope you’re basking in it.
If you were pregnant zebra, you could totally maintain even lose a little, if it turns out you’re not you can continue at your amazing pace. I’m truly in awe of your determination.

Well done zebra. Totally get the mixed emotions. Either way you got this.

No more babies here. One of the reasons my body is knackered.

Physio booked for Monday night £40

WreckTangled · 30/05/2019 18:59

1467 calories today not bad since I had churros, Pret and McDonald's Grin

How’d you manage that wreck, I’d have to have fresh air! I’ve had some wine with dinner & some chocolate. Need to go confess to MFP

lifelongfrugaleer · 30/05/2019 21:38

Fab on the nsv happier.
Great steps wreck. London work out ok with the DC?

WreckTangled · 30/05/2019 21:47

Well I only had a baguette from Pret plus fruit and then happy meal from McDonald's Grin we'd had a late lunch so wasn't that hungry.

Life it was great thanks they were really good and only started flagging towards the end which isn't surprising really, I was too!

zebrarobot · 30/05/2019 23:21

Happier congrats on nsv! I love going down sizes in things.
I would definitely get a clear blue if i thought i would get an answer but i think i’ll need to wait a while. Basically i track my cycle to avoid fertile days (had various contraception issues) and so had fertile symptoms around the 15th, about 15days into my cycle which is normal for me. My dh has had some hip pain after his personal trainer lately so if ive conceived it could only have been from 21st onwards which should have been a ‘safe’ time. However around 23rd i had fertile signs again so may not have ovulated when i thought and so would still have another week at least before a test would show. Fun fact - this is how we got ds1. So the midwife thought i was much further along based on period dates but then determined actually after a scan that i must have ovulated late or twice that month. So really think i just have to wait now.

Thanks for everyones comments on the Maybe Baby situation as dh and i are referring to it. I agree it wouldnt be the end of the world weight wise, i think i ended up lighter after ds1. The thing I would worry about most is just keeping motivated when there is such an easy excuse to eat whatever i felt like. I found i gained more weight in the newborn stage with ds2 because he just did not sleep and i would eat choc and biscuits at night feeds.
Sorry for taking over the thread talking about maybe being pregnant but Either way i will keep you all up to date. Smile

Wreck good going cals wise after eating out all day. Im definitely partial to a wee mcdonalds happy meal now and again.

Happierwithouthim · 31/05/2019 06:52

So finally a recordable weight 156.7 so will possibly be recording a half lb gain this week which I can deal with Smile

I didn't eat all the calories yesterday either. I had half a portion of chips from chippy with a bottle of water, a can of zero sugar monster & a pack of lentil curls Halo

Way behind on steps this week, I was just so tired 💤

Maybebaby zebra Wink

Not2bObvious · 31/05/2019 07:07

Nice one on getting a recordable weight happier, I’m up a fraction this morning but average still came down. Night out tonight but I’m driving so that’ll help me possibly stick to cals. I was over last night but across the week on track.

WreckTangled · 31/05/2019 07:14

Well done happier

Zebra hope you get an answer soon, the not knowing is the worst!

STS today which I'm please with. I'm tired today though so want to eat loads... also we're going to Lidl and the bakery 🤤

lifelongfrugaleer · 31/05/2019 07:55

I'm on the rise again. Time to get my head back into gear.
Will start today rather than Monday.
Zumba last night so got the only decent step count of the week.
Or with the DC today and there will be a lot of driving and a cafe involved

Not2bObvious · 31/05/2019 10:59

Are you really on the rise though life or is it just a flux from extra carbs/cals. I know we don’t practise what we preach but it’s only Friday - you know you’re not allowed freak til Sunday average data.

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 31/05/2019 16:41

To much food going in my mouth is the issue. It will come off I'm not worried.
Looking back I wonder if it's what would have been totm. I've had some stomach cramps today.
Better today but skipped lunch as no cafe where we were. Will make up for it at dinner

WreckTangled · 31/05/2019 17:07

I've binged today and I feel awful for it! Honestly so sluggish and yuck it makes such a difference. Back to it tomorrow. And a healthy dinner too.

Happierwithouthim · 31/05/2019 19:56

Ds just told meal his dinner tastes very good, not really a proud moment, I defrosted Iceland chicken tikka strips & mixed with McDonnell's curry powder & added boiling water Grin

Made dd & my carbonara from scratch it curdled & tastes ok but doesn't look the piece.

Wreck is binge out of your system?

WreckTangled · 31/05/2019 20:08

Yes! Totally regretting it too 🙄 but made a veg packed lentil bolognese for dinner and I just had it on its own; no pasta, so not feeling quite so bad. Am going to exercise in the morning before I shower etc. Monday is back to work/school so I'm not too worried.

lifelongfrugaleer · 01/06/2019 07:25

Happy June.

Happierwithouthim · 01/06/2019 07:50

Happy June to you too life
So I'm up 0.6lbs this week & lost just over 1lb in month of May, focus focus focus I looked back & I've hardly been to the gym, my mfp is fairly filled out but over cals quite often.
Gotta reset this now.

WreckTangled · 01/06/2019 08:07

0.2 up today but I'm going to weigh again after exercise to see if it's lower Wink I'm not worried by that though considering what I ate yesterday!

Not2bObvious · 01/06/2019 08:51

One more weigh in to go happier, might be a bit less but when you think about how busy the last few weeks were & events - really that’s good.
I’m the same as yesterday so that’s brilliant. Over 25,000 steps yesterday as I was at a gig and I danced rings around myself. I had 15 of those before I got there so the extra 10,000 was a bonus. Knees are a bit tender this morning after all my jumping. I came home and demolished a load of crisps & chocolate but meh, no I’ll effect (as yet)
According to my Fitbit I burned nearly 3,000 cals yesterday. Today will be much quieter, maybe a stroll to the shops

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 01/06/2019 09:28

See what tomorrow brings but most likely 0.5 up this week. Given I'm off the rails is fine.
You have been super busy happier so that's a good outcome imo
Love a dance steps. Makes it so easy
