158.5 this morning - yesterday was on plan, didn't hit steps as was tired from weekend but I'm doing a hike on Sat with a group of women so I'll make up for it then.

Not2bObvious · 28/05/2019 13:16

That’s great happier, a drop like that shows pure water retention. Didn’t get my lunchtime walk as leaving early, nearly 6,000 steps to go. No bother Hmm

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 28/05/2019 14:07

Sure I was on a serious carb load over the weekend not2 Grin

Back to my normal foods and eating the kiwis to keep my fibre up too
TMI but ds told me there was a funny smell while we were watching tv last night and I'd to play dumb and wonder what it was Grin

Yesterday I did my last minute cleaning for house viewing in the morning, several trips up and down the stairs when I was done I looked at my wrist to see what my step count was , face palm, I'd left fitbit on the ground when I weighed myself first thing Angry I guesstimate 2k though.

Not2bObvious · 28/05/2019 17:17

With the amount of fibre I’m eating I’m pretty much surrounded by a fog after a certain timeBlush

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 28/05/2019 17:43

Thought I could smell something round here...

Well despite going out for breakfast and lunch I'm under cals with enough left for fruit.

Not2bObvious · 28/05/2019 17:48

Good for you wreck, you must have been very well behaved in your choices
I’m a little low on protein and fibre but with over 350 cals left I’ll get them hit before bed. Need around 2000 steps to hit my goal, actually feel like I can’t be arsed but I’ll get it done by hook or by crook

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 28/05/2019 18:06

I've 7000 steps to goal
401 cals left 28g protein & 8g fibre to hit

Thinking might take dc to pool if they're interested as they'll miss their lesson on Thurs but would be activity vs steps then

Not2bObvious · 28/05/2019 19:55

Just over 15,000 done, protein over by 2gr, fibre bang on, 100 cals left to bank. No harm banning a few at the start of the week, it’s a long weekend coming up so need a bit of leeway. In bed now watching junk. Another early start tomorrow.
How you getting on life? Feeling any brighter?

Happierwithouthim · 28/05/2019 21:25

141 cals over that'll be the shortbread I was gifted at 7.45am this morning before breakfast macros smashed thanks to Linda McCartney sausages thanks for recommendation guys loved them Grin

& the blackjack sweets Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 29/05/2019 06:39

Another shit self pity day yesterday.

I'm going to see where I am on the physio wait list and maybe go private.
Have got my calories adjust ed to maintenance level.

Will get steps today as walking to work.
Blood test first thing on the way though.

Don't know if I said I'm having tests on my throat. Got camera appointment next week.

I feel like I'm falling apart at the minute.

WreckTangled · 29/05/2019 06:49

Oh no life that's horrible sorry you're having such a hard time at the moment Sad

STS again. Fifth day in a row, who knew that was even possible?? I'm taking it as a positive though.

Not2bObvious · 29/05/2019 07:09

That’s a lot on your plate health wise life, maintenance isn’t a bad place for you right now. I don’t think you need to stress about dieting. I only have the choice of private here so it does mean better access to services but €€’s.
I’m down another bit this morning, lower in a while. Just shy of 5,000 since I got on the treadmill for a brisk 30 mins before leaving for work

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 29/05/2019 09:10

life sorry you're going through such a tough time right now. Stress sure seems to come in bucketloads when it comes.

Adjusting to maintenance and perhaps even just calorie counting as opposed to just macros for a bit would make it less stressful for you and you'd still feel like you were in control iykwim?

I saw a STS again this morning. Really don't want to record it yet. Will see how week goes.

wreck that's good

Not2bObvious · 29/05/2019 14:26

If you are what you eat, I’m going change into 0% Greek yogurt & fruit! On my second bowl of the day. Just over 9,000 steps so 6 to go. As long as my dinner is edible (trying out a slow cooker recipe that could go pear shaped) I’ve only 5 grams of protein to hit & I’ll have over 500 calories left. I’m quite excited!

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 29/05/2019 14:49

Ooh not2 that's a feast!!

Not2bObvious · 29/05/2019 15:05

I know 😬 I’m inordinately excited!

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 29/05/2019 17:13

In on 2000 for now and review in a couple of weeks.
Will aim for steps.
Food is off today as have had chocolate and peanut butter brownie.

WreckTangled · 29/05/2019 19:45

I was within cals but then I fancied marmite on toast so am no marmite on toast amount of cals over Grin

Not2bObvious · 29/05/2019 21:42

Around 200 under, I could have used them but really wasn’t that bothered. Into the bank holiday bank account. Just over 15,000 steps, so all done for the day. Thinking I’ll get a run in before work tomorrow but we’ll see.

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 30/05/2019 06:32

Unsurprisingly weight is up today.

You are all going great.

WreckTangled · 30/05/2019 06:52

0.6lb off. Finally. New lowest weight. Not sure it'll last were off to London so lots of treats but also lots of walking. I might even get over 10k Grin my hips will not thank me tomorrow.

lifelongfrugaleer · 30/05/2019 07:17

Given myself a stern taking to today and getting back on it.
Aim for steps and food for now.

No fbw for a while until I go to physio

Happierwithouthim · 30/05/2019 08:09

And did you listen? life Grin

Well done wreck enjoy day out

We've a bank holiday weekend here this weekend, dc are off school tomo and with their dad for rest of it, at least that's what schedule says but he's trying to get out of it - stopping derailing thread now GrinAngry

So today I've 739 cals to have a nice early dinner out with dc before taking them to a mindfulness workshop as part of a local festival. The town we're going to doesn't have fast food chain restaurants so there's a good chance of me having a decent meal Grin

158.5 again on scales - looks like I'm going to have to register a 2.4lbs gain this week Sad

Not2bObvious · 30/05/2019 09:38

Never mind happier, it’ll only be for this week, I’m sure you’ll get shot of the bloat by Sunday week.
Not sure why you needed a stern talking to life, I think you’re doing extremely well and aren’t giving yourself enough credit. I really hope you get your physio sorted soon.
Down another bit this morning, hour work before shower so I’ve just over 8,000 steps done. Only 7 to go!
That’s super wreck, have fun in London. In my old job I was there every few weeks but never for fun
