Congratulations everyone who is losing.

Haven't been on for a while. My weight is firmly in a plateau and I have been eating a bit more given the bank holiday weekend but still trying to be mindful (DH and I shared a bag of chips instead of having one each Grin).

Hi all, well done on the losses! I've been a bit off track lately but somehow managed to lose 0.5kg when I weighed today. Just another kg to go to get to pre pregnancy weight, then I'd like to lose another 2kg after that. A wet suit sounds daunting beela!

0.5kg down from last week. Have been hovering around the 65 mark so hoping this loss is going to stick.

Morning .. this thread has gone pretty quite. How is everyone getting on?
I’m back to the lowest weight a reached on the thread .. which was over a month ago!
So I have 2/3lb’s to my target .
I really wanted to be at target for next Tuesday but I have a gig and overnight stay on Sunday .. although I wasn’t that bad at my last one a week or so ago this time my husband is coming so I’m more likely to indulge. I need to really try not to .
I have not worn jeans since this thread began which was what months ago and that’s the first thing I’m going to do when I get to target.
Post updates folk , whatever they are , ups and downs is what this is all about.

I haven't been posting because I've been a complete disaster and fallen completely off the wagon and don't weigh myself. However I've just booked a weekend away in 6 weeks time in the South of France with one of my best friends I've known since I was 11. We don't live close to each other so at Christmas we had decided we were going to go on a weight loss program and she has been sticking to it from starting weight very similar to mine and is now a success and I haven't and I've only put on weight so I'm a disaster. So there's a little bit of motivation for me there to try and stick to it for the next 6 weeks so once I've come back from this weekend where I'm going to visit one of my other friends in Cornwall I will start, weigh myself and stick to it.

Hi all ! So I'd done really well at start of our month, and then posted I'd gained 5lb after a bender. Dropped 3 of water retention, two weeks later still not budging the gained 2..... so 4lbs to take it to the 7lbs.

Determined though. Will pay close attention to meals, replace snacks with only fruit, and will be rigid. I've got to plan ahead as lots of out n abouts that can throw me out.

I am just losing and gaining the same 2lb! So just maintaining basically. But that's totally because I have been snacking, hoovering up leftovers, and eating cake.

On the plus side c25k is going well. Although I consider myself pretty fit (swimming, spinning, hiit), it's good to be doing something different and notice the improvement week by week.

I’m having a hard job today not to wander into my kitchen and make some lovely calorie busting food.
It’s strange, I have days that it doesn’t bother me that much .. not eating what I would like and then others that it’s so bloody hard! Not even got PMT or tiredness or work to blame today.
I so far have resisted.
Nice to get updates from folk, let these scales go down !

Ive not been very well🥵. I have lost 6lbs and my weight is down to 10st 4. Ill gain it back when im well i would imagine!

On my 'threads I'm on' page there is this one, and then some threads about cakes and baking. Says it all really!

I really need to curb my snacking, that is my downfall at the moment. Maybe I need to fill up more at meal times. I did notice yesterday that I wasn't hungry (even had a kitkat in my bag that I didn't bother with) but as soon as I got home I was thinking about what I could eat. So that tells me it's habit. I need a new habit!

I've not been well either caggie but I haven't lost any weight! This cold/ cough thing has put me off exercising and I now feel like it's even harder to get back into it.

What are people using for motivation? I find that I'm far more disciplined of I have something to work towards...

Motivation .. I’m the same I usually have some sort of event or date in mind . It still slips though and I’m really bad for getting in a binge rut for a few days .. it is usually around my period time but it really makes things go on for ages .
I have though been angelic like the last few days ... my aim to be target is this Tuesday .
I’m 1lb off ... 1lb !
Although I think I said before tonight takes me to the temptation of a meal out , a gig , lots of drinks and a hotel breakfast .
I’ve looked at the menu , if I eat like a sparrow today there is a dish that might not be over 1000 cals .
I will drink wine though , then change to gin .The breakfast though is my favourite thing .
I’m so bored off this though and I know if I eat shitloads I’m never going to be target for Tuesday .
Help !

thisimmortalcurl I feel your pain, one night out can ruin it all! Maybe focus on the most enjoyable aspect of tonight, good company, the gig, and try not too waste your thoughts on the food- maybe you can you dance off the calories???
Or maybe just starve on Monday to get that pesky 1lb down for Tuesday Grin well done on getting so close to the target weight though.

Can you buy motivation on Amazon???

I am getting so frustrated with myself. I'm fine during the week, then lose the plot every weekend. This weekend it was grazing at kids birthday parties that did me in, but there's always something.

This week's aim: lots of veg, lots of water, less wheat flour.

Morning. How is the week going so far?
No surprises for me .. after 4 days filled with different hotel stays / much alcohol and share bags of crisps I am up 5lb since Sunday morning .
I honestly did try some damage limitation and yesterday morning did not have the hotel breakfast , avoided the 11am hot rolls and only ate the sandwiches and salmon walking past the sweet section which had scones with clotted cream / brownies / shortbread .. yet I’m still five pounds up.
In saying that I did enjoy lots of booze , and did have 2 three course meals and a fry up over the last few days so the scales might have been much worse if I hadn’t really tried yesterday.
It’s so much harder when the food is free and it seems like everyone else around you is indulging in whatever they want .
The sun and all my summer clothes is good inspiration though and I’m keeping everything crossed that this is not real weight .
I’m going to pretty much fast today and be strict fri and sat .
I’ve nothing much on till Sunday .
Hope you lot are doing better than me .. I was so close!

I'm still at 12 stone this morning but I do have my period. I've got 5 weeks before my trip so it's time to focus.

Booked a class for this morning and just got to stop sabotaging myself now. Hope everyone else is doing OK.

I've just parked my car a mile from work so will go for a brisk walk in.
