We're doing ok girls but we could be a little better, fresh March motivation anyone?

I woke at 5am, bright as a button and it was howling outside so I did Rachels Home Workout Heroes this morning, it's been about 6 months I'd say, weights were too heavy for sure! But it was a good start to the day, I wasn't pushing hard enough though cos cal burn was 153 for 30 mins.

Weekly average back to last weeks now.

Not2bObvious · 07/03/2019 16:06

Well I’m not doing rubbish! After a decent start to the day the boredom set in, and with it the munchies. I need a new job, or my jaw wired.

Not2bObvious · 07/03/2019 16:06

That should have read I am doing rubbish, I’d take ok very happily.

YY to march motivation.
Gonna buy my gym pass tonight or tomorrow.
Over calories today if I have my burger in a bun. Under if I don't. I'm going over.
Garmin on charge so no steps today but walked a bit so I would guess at 7k

Wolfcub · 07/03/2019 17:15

Breakfast slice of toast
Elevenses hazelnut butter breakfast bar
Lunch cous cous packet and a low fat low cal jelly

Pilates tonight

Monday’s extra weight has still not disappeared I am getting fed up. I barely ate on Sunday so how did I gain three and a half pounds between Sunday and Monday Angry

lifelongfrugaleer · 07/03/2019 17:38

Are you hydrated enough wolf?
Starting fitness lead to a short term increase. Haven't you just restarted that?
Totm?

WreckTangled · 07/03/2019 17:41

Today:

Couscous salad (won't be having this again and it plays havoc with my sugar levels)
Two dark chocolate Leibniz

Shared a packet of skips with ds

Dinner was spag bol with some cheese on top.

200 cals left

lifelongfrugaleer · 07/03/2019 20:36

Did Zumba which is 5.5k steps so will have got my 10 + today.
Over calories but I really needed some fruit, veg and fibre

Wolfcub · 07/03/2019 21:27

Pilates

Two slices of toast with peanut butter and marmite
Creme pudding pot
Glass of wine which may become two

Morning all, happy Friday or as I like to think of it as the day to obliterate all the hard work of the week😉 N’ah only kidding, I start my obliterations on Thursday.
Anyway, semi serious joking aside, my reward for a day of constant eating is .6 up but average is down another point so still room to fix or destroy before Sunday’s final weigh in.
As a starting point, I’m planning my meals and filling in mfp. No or minimal drinks tonight depending on who gets to collect younger child from a party. None of I’m the driver, 1 if I’m not in sympathy for DH. No fun drinking on your own anyway. Might help claw back some cals from yesterday as well. Could really do with sticking to 1700, need to improve my macros. Think I’m eating too much rubbish food. Might go spend on some naice stuff🤔

.2 down for the third day running. Hoping once my period ends I'll see a decent loss.

I'm having blueberry hot cross buns for lunch but before that I'm going to do a yoga work out. Probably the core one again as I hate hate hate my lower flab. Not sure on dinner, going shopping this morning.

Wolfcub · 08/03/2019 07:52

All but 3/4 of a pound of bloat gone. Woo. Don’t hurt too much after Pilates yet but I’m sure it’s coming

Not2bObvious · 08/03/2019 08:14

Well done wreck and wolf
How you feeling after the fbw happier? The fear of the doms and inevitable initial
weight gain is putting me off. But then again the fact my arms seem to be losing their muscle tone (I have mini guns I’m v proud of) is making me think I need to suck it up. Oh and the fear of knocking my back out is more scary

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 08/03/2019 09:00

It was home heroes I did not fbw not2 I could feel it in my upper arms and shoulders as well top of thighs Hmm last night and was too tired to shower/bath, only slept for 5 hours previous night so I went to bed with hot water bottle and had hot shower this morning. My arms are still a little tender but more that you know you did something than sore iykwim.

I need to get my exercise back up or drop my cals back to 1600, scales is stuck on 160 for 4 days so my average has dropped by 0.1 so far, and with birthday and midterm, that means I've only lost 0.5lbs in three weeks. My dsis would say I'm hung up on scales cos I do look and feel better and that counts too. I've baby mini guns developingGrin

Not2bObvious · 08/03/2019 09:54

Maybe re-check your tracking happier, from what I take from your posts you’re decently active and I’d expect .33 to .75 of a pound a week at least. Are your food weights/entries as good as they should be? Always worth getting those things in line and upping the steps a bit before dropping cals. You need somewhere to drop to when you go down a weight bracket. In my case I know I’m going over, even though I hit my 15,000 steps. That’s my unsolicited advice anyway

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 08/03/2019 10:39

Everything that goes into my mouth is weighed/measured and tracked. It's definitely my exercise that catches me out, I don't reach my step goal most days. I'd like to continue with the amount of food I'm eating so I need to get my ass in gear regarding exercise.

Not2bObvious · 08/03/2019 11:20

Fair enough happier, I’m sure you’ll get the steps sorted once you’ve got it in your sights. Just over 8,000 done here, only 7,000 to go!

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 08/03/2019 11:34

I don't know how you lot do all your steps Grin I average at 5k a day!

Wolfcub · 08/03/2019 12:06

No breakfast
Lunch m&s sushi tray and a chocolate muffin - hopefully the formers 180 cals should balance out the latters unspecified calories

Happierwithouthim · 08/03/2019 12:16

Usually I go to gym mon & wed plus 1/2 times at weekend
This week I'd a short gym session (30mins) as had dd's activity to go to and on Wed eve I had a funeral to go to so no gym and I did the home heroes yesterday morning.

I'd 3 runs but no gym last week so this is probably the main thing as well as the meals out!

WreckTangled · 08/03/2019 13:15

So far today:

I started a beginners body coach work out and then thought fuck off Joe burpees are not a beginners move so swapped to a weight work out instead Grin (15 mins) then did the Adrienne core yoga session. Now am having a blueberry hot cross bun followed by loads of strawberries. Managed to get a small punnet reduced to half price so I'm going to have them all to myself as usually I leave them all for the dc.

Happierwithouthim · 08/03/2019 14:46

I got the strawberries in our house to myself this week wreck think because they weren't the greatest Grin

Dinner out tomorrow night

Not2bObvious · 08/03/2019 14:54

Burpees are the work of the devil, hate them with a passion & refuse to do them. Nearly at 19,000 steps. The plan I follow wreck has steps at the core of its teachings (that sounded a bit bonkers, it’s not I promise!) It’s something most every person can manage, a decent amount of walking. And upping your NEAT is the way to get the weight off & keep it off - makes sense to me.

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 08/03/2019 15:32

I have nowhere to walk Grin literally have to drive everywhere. I do little things like parking far away etc

Happierwithouthim · 08/03/2019 15:56

What about around that lovely village of yours wreck?
