We can walk round the green but that's it. It's all roads out are steep, single track roads with nowhere to stand away from cars. What I mean though is I can't walk instead of drive places so can't up my steps that way.

Not2bObvious · 08/03/2019 16:43

I’m extremely lucky in that where I live I can walk to the school/local park/shopping mall - I can even walk to Dublin City Centre in around 90 minutes. I also have a decent treadmill....And yet some days I walk on the spot😂

Over cals but currently on 14k steps and have a load of beavers to run after in a bit. Body pump at lunch. If I ignore the +160 cals all looks good. However 15k steps and 3 workouts takes me into the next Cal bracket

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/03/2019 17:37

I only get steps as I walk to and from work which is 30 minutes each way

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/03/2019 17:56

Gosh I'm worn out after this week. I just want to eat crap.

WreckTangled · 08/03/2019 18:31

Rest of today:

1 piece of garlic bread and half a carrot at a friends

Katsu chicken Kiev and chips ShockBlushGrin so tasty! Still have 356 calories left not sure what I'll have

Wolfcub · 08/03/2019 18:36

Tandoori chicken wraps but had to do the chicken in a pan so not quite right
Eclair

Off for a very much needed pint shortly.

WreckTangled · 08/03/2019 20:39

Am finishing the day with some Jaffa cake nibbles Grin

Wolfcub · 08/03/2019 21:52

2 pints cider.
Jaffa cake nibbles sound nice Wreck

WreckTangled · 09/03/2019 07:43

1lb down from yesterday and lowest weight to date. Wonder if it'll stay off after today. Going to have breakfast as walking this morning and lunch won't be until gone 1.

Wolfcub · 09/03/2019 07:50

Last bit of bloat gone so might be on for a loss tomorrow if I don’t ruin it all today

Happierwithouthim · 09/03/2019 08:45

I get ya now wreck I'm same as that very rural so walking to do errands or get to work isn't an option

WreckTangled · 09/03/2019 08:49

Hopefully have good steps today after my alpaca walk though Grin

Not2bObvious · 09/03/2019 10:34

I feel all walked out this morning, nearly 20,000 steps yesterday. Plans changed slightly and went over cals too, only saving grace was the extra steps should have balanced it out. Nevertheless scales has gone up a bit which is understandable due to salty food, it’s a bit depressing. I will drag myself & do 30 mins on the treadmill, but I’m dreading it. I won’t regret it once done but ouf the thought.
Alpaca walk sounds too cool wreck, pls come back with a warts & all review. It’s on my list this year with the kids

Treadmill done, checked the scales again and turns out gain wasn’t as bad as I thought. As if we didn’t know the scales wasn’t infallible, just a pity what affect it has on mindset. My treadmill took on a mind of its own, more likely I accidentally set a running program, so my first 18 minutes was mixed incline - kinda took my mind off my moaning! Over 5,500 steps done, that’s a good start. Feel much brighter, much be the endorphins 😬

Well done not2 I'm just heading into gym now. I really want chocolate today, doesn't usually bother me so I might give in afterwards when I buy newspaper.

Wolfcub · 09/03/2019 15:09

Breakfast pain au chocolate plus one third (my mother’s determination to share equally)
Lunch ham sandwich and a half (see above)
Making chilli beef nachos for tea
Wine

I have done a lot of physical lifting and moving stuff today I am both knackered and sore

Wreck enjoy the alpacas

lifelongfrugaleer · 09/03/2019 15:26

The Protestant tray bake thread is making me hungry.

Wolfcub · 09/03/2019 15:57

I agree Life. I want to make some fifteens

WreckTangled · 09/03/2019 16:46

Well I did lots of steps this morning but not this afternoon Grin

Breakfast: blueberry hot cross bun with butter

Lunch: sweet potato rosti with feta and salad plus some of my friends chips and mayo.

Not sure I'll be hungry later but if I am I have a frozen Aldi slim well butternut squash curry that's only 255 calories. I don't know what lunch was but like to thing the whole day won't be over 1600 calories or something. Either way I'm happy.

WreckTangled · 09/03/2019 16:47

It was really fun Not2 definitely recommend.

Ohhhh he (or she?) is so cute!!! I’m defo going to do it this year. Got a nice potter around the shops, bought some bits that I’m very pleased with. Bought some junk too but will be restrained - my head feels better now, I think I can be trusted (apologies in advance if I need to do the walk of shame tomorrow)
I want to go out for lunch tomorrow, himself isn’t pushed. Love to eat out of a Sunday

WreckTangled · 09/03/2019 19:38

Have had an Apple and a very naughty slice of cheese on toast! Wasn't hungry but am spinning tomorrow and didn't want to go having not eaten since lunch time today.

Wolfcub · 09/03/2019 19:39

Hard boiled egg

Chilli beef nachos

Not2bObvious · 09/03/2019 21:26

Did you buy your chocolate happier? I’ve had a few nibbles so I’m around 300 cals over, maintenance again. A little over 13,000 steps and nicely on track for my weekly target. Going to have a gain this week but I’m ok with that, shouldn’t be significant, just a step to the side.
Never tried that butternut curry wreck - would you recommend (you’ve become my reviewer😉) I had the slimwell tikka masala but wasn’t too keen
