That is amazing happier! So close to the 10’s - that’ll spur you on. Very gusty here and blooming cold now. My steps have been around the house and then 50 mins brisk walking on the treadmill- have just over 10,500, 4,500 to go. Out tonight, but for now snuggled up in bed with Netflix 😬

The biscuits got me. And the my cold is getting me too 🤧 might just write today off.

zebrarobot · 27/04/2019 16:13

wreck i reckon feed the cold whatever it wants (within reason)

The weathers a bit funny here today its cloudy but had some bright spells. Im trying to get the school washing dried as well today as im working tomorrow so its hung out im hoping it doesnt rain.

I was out last night, went bowling with a group of friends who were all drinking. Luckily we went at 7pm so i had dinner before i went but they were having nuts and then got a mcdonalds. I had nothing! Which im so proud of. I dont really drink either and my dh started work at 4.30am this morn so i knew i was going to have the kids all day so i didnt want a hangover. After my initial plan to have a couple of vodka tonics to be social i decided just to stick to diet coke so didnt break the diet. I think at this stage i may just decide that i dont drink. The last time i had one was Christmas Day and before that over a year ago. The bottle of prosecco the previous owner of our house left us on moving day is still sat on top of the fridge gathering dust. That was March last year. Does anyone else not bother muchwith alcohol? I think if i was a bigger drinker i would have really missed it last night

Not2bObvious · 27/04/2019 16:19

That sounds like such a good night zebra, it doesn’t sound like you felt hard done by at all - I’ve gone out on the dry a few times over the years and it’s varied from fine to unbearable. In Ireland (or in my experience) if you’re not drinking you must be pregnant! I’m nearly past the stage of people thinking that about me, 40’s, although saying that it’d be better gossip! Yes I’m a drinker but for the moment I’m avoiding it to shift the holiday bloat. Crawled out of the bed to go shopping, needed something to cover my grey before going out tonight, blasted hair appointment isn’t til Wednesday & I can’t take the grey peaking through

Fab going happier.
I don't drink zebra. Maybe Christmas Day I have a fruity cider to reward myself. Girls day out 2-3 times a year I have maybe 3 max.
I had prosecco Easter weekend and one glass made me feel shite.
People who know me are fine and used to it. I still dance and clart about.
I still get shocked reactions from those who don't know and are drinks. Meh don't care. Takes a while to not care though.
The down side is the poor range of non alcoholic beverages. I just get tap water with a slice of lemon.
Hangover free and tight frugal Grin

WreckTangled · 27/04/2019 19:52

Over cals and in bed Grin I'm supposed to be spinning tomorrow. I will probably still go as surely it'll make me feel better?

zebrarobot · 27/04/2019 20:02

not its the same here where i am in Scotland as well. I said I had brought the car and was immediately asked if I was pregnant.

life im the same with drinking at Christmas but over the last couple of years I think Ive realised I do it more because everyone expects you to have a drink on those occasions, rather than because I actually want to. I absolutely hate feeling hungover and I never ever have that feeling of "oh i could really go a glass of wine"

zebrarobot · 27/04/2019 20:03

wreck take it easy, maybe see how you are in the morning?

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/04/2019 21:16

No I don't get the oh I just fancy a drink or oh I need a drink..... Other people do, fair enough but not me.
My Christmas Day cider wasn't drink until 30 December last year.

Steps under, food just about bang on.

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/04/2019 21:17

Don't spin if you are not well wreck. It will lower your immune system and drive it deeper

Happierwithouthim · 27/04/2019 22:32

I'm kind of an in betweener on alcohol, I can go months with none & I love being able to drive home at the end of the night but then I can go out for a night & absolutely binge.

Drank at a wedding at Christmas, one night with my sister at end of Feb then again first weekend of April & possibly again next weekend but not massively. There's two cans of cider in my fridge since Christmas and I don't even think about them.

Slept 10 hours last night wreck

Not2bObvious · 27/04/2019 23:14

Just back from my night out and instead of a glass of wine, I had half a toasted sambo! V proud of myself.
Totally agree with life, you could make yourself worse doing spin wreck, take it easy tomorrow and feel better. Not sure what I’ll do for exercise tomorrow, might be a potter around the shops. I feel the need to spend...best bring the teenager

Really? I've sneezed six times this morning but after blowing my nose feel ok? I don't feel heady or anything but I am still in bed.

I'm not a drinker either. I had a g&t when it was nice and sunny and a drink with lunch but only because my step mum brought it with her. Otherwise I can't remember the last time I drank. That's not to say that when I go out out I don't drink lots Grin can easily go six months though.

Phew happier that's caught you up a bit!

WreckTangled · 28/04/2019 06:36

Nearly 1lb up today 😭 so didn't make 1lb loss on my average but 0.9lb loss instead. Still better than what it has been.

WreckTangled · 28/04/2019 06:59

Right have decided I'm going to do a weights tabata and then we're going out for breakfast. A week off spinning won't hurt

lifelongfrugaleer · 28/04/2019 07:34

Better down than up.

Body pump this morning then will get my steps in round IKEA, decathlon and other shops

WreckTangled · 28/04/2019 07:48

Ooo my favourite shops life

WreckTangled · 28/04/2019 08:04

Tabata done. Actually burnt the same amount of calories as I do spinning!

Wolfcubisthefemalenominal · 28/04/2019 08:45

No further weight loss since yesterday so it’s a gain for me this week bah!

Not2bObvious · 28/04/2019 10:17

Today’s weigh in has evened my average out to 163.1, same as last Sunday. Still 3.7lb up on previous weeks, and 4.2lb up on my lowest average this year. Sorry for the all the boring figures, just getting it in b&w so I can see it. Anyway, that aside I’m 1.6lb lighter than last Sunday morning & I was still on holidays then and ate loads for Sunday/Monday/Tuesday. I was 165.6 on Thursday so all in all I’m getting shot of the gain in good fashion. If I put the same effort in for the next 7 days that I did the last 4, I’ll get the average down nicely. 10 days on, probably 30 days off!

Well done on the pound wreck, I’m calling it a pound - .9 is a sneeze away from it😉

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 28/04/2019 18:09

Over cals. Damn weekends again! Also not sure how this week is going to be. I have an hcp forum all day tomorrow and stat training Wednesday. Usually I would take snacks to keep me going but carrot sticks and cherry tomatoes won't keep me happy. Not sure what to do, I don't want to be one of the people that falls asleep BlushGrin

lifelongfrugaleer · 28/04/2019 18:37

Food on if I have a protein shake which is not filling me with joy. 3k steps needed.

Not2bObvious · 28/04/2019 20:21

Just on calories - eating my last snack of the evening. Macros not hit but meh - for a Sunday I’m happy over 15,000 steps and no wine with lunch. There’s a new circuit class starting in my local hall tomorrow evening, thinking of going.
I haven’t had a protein shake in over 3 weeks life, I don’t miss them

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 28/04/2019 20:40

Swapped out the shake for a bunny. On calls off protein.

I can't seem to get my macros hit without them and stay in calories at the minute. Need to plan evening meals better
