I hope your back improves over the day life, depending on where it is of course but would something like a therma care heat wrap help? I love them, seriously saved my sanity a few times. I’m not doing weights this week, scared I’ll pull something before my hols. Very funny what you said there, weight stalling since you put your cals up...and you’re not sticking to them anyway. You need to imagine Richie hearing you say that😂

There would be a lot of fs from him.

It feels around the right siatic area, upper buttock into my already dodge hip.

Happierwithouthim · 10/04/2019 08:14

life glad to hear it seems more muscular. Do you remember the instance it happened?

I got a notion that maybe I wasn't doing my deadlifts right and I've increased the weight too and Mon eve I concentrated on trying to ensure I was doing it right and hurt my lower back somehow, obviously I was doing it just fine before Grin

My weight still hasn't come down since the weekend, this is definitely down to alcohol because any other weekend that I've overindulged on carbs it's disappeared by now, very frustrating and now my belly is like a bowl of jelly, dc found this hilarious last night Grin it's my week off pill also so I guess there's loads going on Hmm

Wolf I think you're doing so well with all you've got going on & having physical pain as well to contend with.

Not2 I always keep mfp filled in too, haven't missed a day in a long time, I'm going to track in retrospect for the weekend.

Happierwithouthim · 10/04/2019 08:16

life it's the old Motivate Me group so I'm in it alright but I haven't looked at it yet at all.

Not2bObvious · 10/04/2019 08:41

As long as it’s not that b^stard sciatica full blown. I swear I thought I’d lose my mind last year with severe bouts of it, that’s what took me away from my beloved gym that I’d gone to for nearly 2 years.
I haven’t had a good look at the recipes or the new group. I was completely confused initially, didn’t realise it was motivate me. The hustle is well on these days

I watched a few minutes of video from Richie & Rachel and they said fat loss recipes just to get people to look at it Grin every new person I follow on instagram is an affiliate

lifelongfrugaleer · 10/04/2019 10:05

Doing pull ups in pump happier. The pain spasm made me drop the bar. Poor instructor had a panic on.

Didn't realise it was the motivate me group. I came out of that as it demotivated me Grin

Happierwithouthim · 10/04/2019 11:06
Grin There's a body pump class at my gym, think I'll sign up for it, you seem to enjoy it and your physique has stayed slimmed down while scales stays constant enough too.

I listened to Richies video about running slowing down your weight loss on Sat, and I am one of those people he describes, I love running, I do feel wiped if I've done a long/hard run but I equally feel like that after a tough gym session.

Not2bObvious · 10/04/2019 11:24

I watched that too happier, and funny enough I realised it’s the day after my run I can go a bit mad. Maybe it’s too hard on the energy stores? I like it for the fact I get a big chunk of my steps in half the time but it’s pretty pointless if it’s making me go off the rails.
Short on protein today, maybe Greek yogurt later and a small shake.

I love pump. I don't lift heavy as I'm not allowed but I find it hard at the end. I know it's only meant to be a starter before moving to gym but I'm sticking with it. I find free weights and machines boring to stick to.

lifelongfrugaleer · 10/04/2019 12:13

Careful with the current back track though. The lift move is how I hurt myself

Happierwithouthim · 10/04/2019 16:25

I'm avoiding the gym this evening for that reason, my back is almost better but I'm not going to risk it, plus want to catch up with my friend who I've not seen in about a month. So I'm going to do a short run and then sit on my behind talking to her until it's time for dc to come home from their dads.

I like that too not plus the calorie burn is good too, I really struggle to hit my steps without running, I dislike walking.

I'm going to sign up for bodypump so for next week's class. It's not one of the free ones at the gym but the time suits me.

Not2bObvious · 10/04/2019 20:29

Flip it anyway - over by 150 and under steps by around 3,500. Not great after yesterday’s huge overeat.

Weight is doing again.
Think I might do Pilates at lunch time. Back feels better - it's all in my right butt now.

Wolfcubisthefemalenominal · 11/04/2019 07:18

Weight stayed the same as yesterday so all good. Pilates later

WreckTangled · 11/04/2019 07:36

Weight down a bit which is amazing considering what I ate yesterday.

Not2bObvious · 11/04/2019 07:41

Weight down a bit but still not lost all my Tuesday buffet dinner. Arg!!! Just circling the drain these days. I think I may accept I’m in maintenance mode for the next 2 weeks. No change really except I’ll officially allow around 2,200 a day on holidays as long as I manage my 15,000 steps. I think I’ve been in maintenance mode on a subconscious level since the start of the year!

All good news with us this morning so.

My weight is back down to last week's average this morning Smile
maybe this coincided with the arrival of my little 'period' or else it's the alcohol has left my system, either way I'm happy. Ran with dead legs last night, did just under 3km

lifelongfrugaleer · 11/04/2019 16:30

I'm thinking I should skip weights tonight as my back on not fully better and I'm away next week. Very vexed

WreckTangled · 12/04/2019 03:07

Weights workout done. Couldn't sleep.

lifelongfrugaleer · 12/04/2019 06:27

Wow that's dedication wreck. I've dropped to 1500 again as can't do weights until 28 April now. Although going away next week so will not be tracking as much.

Wolfcubisthefemalenominal · 12/04/2019 07:12

3/4lb down.

WreckTangled · 12/04/2019 07:18

I don't know life. It was the only way o could think of to get rid of the neurological pain I had in my foot. I had been lying in bed for 90 minutes and couldn't get back to sleep so thought it was worth a go. It did work but I'm exhausted now! My average weight is up 0.7lb. I've had an awful week food wise. Need to sort it out ASAP before I slip back into 'fuck it' mind set. I still have fat around my middle I'm desperate to lose Angry

Not2bObvious · 12/04/2019 12:21

That sounds very unpleasant wreck, you poor thing. Hard to reduce the food when you’re tired, keep hydrated at least if you can. I’m just about maintaining this week. Only 1 run this week, will do a fair bit while I’m away. Gotta burn some cals for 🍷’time

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 12/04/2019 18:49

I'm way over on cals today. So so hungry last night. Got to tea time today and I've just got to fill up.
