Medical jelly babies are guilt free

Wolfcub · 09/01/2019 18:27

I like the idea of a medical jelly baby, they should make some with little stethoscopes

Dinner was chicken curry with added veg and pulses and naan. I have hot chocolate too, it’s low calorie but really it’s too cups worth. I’m unlikely to drink it all through. Let’s hope I can keep out of the biscuits and treezlets later

WreckTangled · 09/01/2019 18:31

I haven't eaten loads today so I'm going to have some yoghurt in a bit I think.

Omg I have a bag of jelly babies in my car! And while I have no medical need for them, they proper stop mad crazy hunger with a couple.
Having a glass (or maybe 2...for now) of Pinot Grigio tonight. I care not one jot, I have my steps done, I have spare cals, my scales is down to 162.2 this morning from 167.2 about 10 days ago, my jeans have ceased trying to cut off my circulation, all is good in my hood😉

Happierwithouthim · 09/01/2019 21:19

Yummy turkey, bacon & cheese burger doesn't complete my macros but only 1g shy of protein goal and under by 3kcal

Great result not2 jeans are brilliant for keeping us under control

Wreck that doesn't seem like a lot of food at all to me

That looks so good! Don't worry my dinner was huge and loads of veg in the chilli. Plus I just had full fat lemon yoghurt with strawberries, raspberries and dark chocolate chips 😋

Wolfcub · 09/01/2019 21:30

I did fall into the treezelets I am a terrible person Grin

Not2bObvious · 09/01/2019 21:53

This thread is making me hungry, that burger looks divine happier! Are treezelets like chocolate twiglets in the shape of a tree wolf? I’m intrigued! I guess there isn’t an infinite supply as they do sound like festive food, feck it, put it behind you.
I ate at maintenance today, which is acceptable. Long day tomorrow and I need to do better on protein. Was more picky this evening than I shoulda been

Wolfcub · 09/01/2019 21:54

Not2 they are thin cheese snacks shaped like Christmas trees

Wolfcub · 09/01/2019 21:55

Even better I got those burgers reduced in November and still have a few in the freezer Grin

Le yum happier.
Top day yesterday.
Aiming for same today.

Happierwithouthim · 10/01/2019 07:53

Well done - keep on smashing it - today's planned out well, hopefully I can stick to that.

For my weight I should be on higher calories but I don't do 15000 steps so I'm sticking to 1600 for now and will monitor weight loss

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 10/01/2019 08:47

That sounds like a good idea happier, as long as you’re not starving 1600 is decent. I’m up this morning after my little snack’a’thon but I was whollly surprised - there were crisps & wine, usually causes a flux. Not in the humour today, have company over for dinner (elderly parent, hard work, struggling with it a lot but could be worse) It’s going to be a challenge all round, I think I might have my breakfast now - might cheer me up

Happierwithouthim · 10/01/2019 09:24

I'm definitely going to monitor it with the extra exercise too.
I'm in a quandary - have paid annual membership for gym and am getting on well with it, but bootcamp that I love is back next week €100 for 4 weeks of 5 classes. I love the social aspect of it, but it feels like paying on the double too. I've got FOMO I suppose too cos it's great craic.

not2 maybe you should've saved the wine for after elderly parent's visit Grin I think the scales bothers you more than me on a daily basis, it's only by about today I start to get annoyed with it when I look at my average, it's creeping towards 1lb loss (0.8 currently).

I would love to be in the 150 club for my birthday at end of next month. 164.3 average right now.

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 10/01/2019 10:04

Oh there’ll be wine tonight too! I’m sorry to say it isn’t possible to endure the visit without it.
Can you afford the bootcamp? Sometimes we need to forgot the cost and know the value, good company is priceless (within reason😉)

Wolfcub · 10/01/2019 13:08

Skinny latte, cheese toastie and raspberry muffing plus little box of shreddies and about three gallons of tea

Cagliostro · 10/01/2019 13:33

Must stop stress eating. Argh.

I did manage to walk to the Caglets trampolining class this morning. 28mins which is the same time it takes DH with the Caglets and no buggy so I’m really chuffed with that.

Happierwithouthim · 10/01/2019 16:37

Yes not2 I can afford it, have money earmarked for midterm break and will still have loads for then if I do this.

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 10/01/2019 16:52

Personally I’d do it then - it sounds great.
I’m struggling today, bad nights sleep and I’ve 2 nights out this week, quite the first world problem I know! Very hard to be successful dieting with meals out. And I can’t cancel either. Finding myself picking too much again, arg!!!!

Wolfcub · 10/01/2019 16:58

Clementine and a rice crispie bar this afternoon. I’d have been better just sticking to the fruit obviously

Lamb meatballs and cous cous for tea

WreckTangled · 10/01/2019 17:34

Today:

Three coffees
Only 0.5l water so far. Will up that in a bit

Homemade carrot and parsnip soup
Alpen light bar

Pasta bolognese with quorn mince and some cheese
Few tbsp of strawberry yoghurt.

Am resisting the urge to make some buttery toast 🤤 did yoga earlier too.

Happierwithouthim · 10/01/2019 19:03

It's infinitely harder when you're eating out with temptations, not knowing how it was cooked, not being able to control portion size etc

I could meet my macros by having a PhD smart bar & 130g chicken but it's one of the few days in the week I get to eat with my dc so I'm having chicken from instant pot with actifry chips. I'll stay within cals hopefully haven't input recipe into mfp yet but not meet my macros probably.
It's important to me to eat dinner with them.

Some days I will only be able to do half the bootcamp class because of work. I think I'm leaning towards doing it.

Haven't made meatballs in ages wolf must put them on next weeks menu, do you have a sauce on them?

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 10/01/2019 20:53

YY meadow, more important to eat with the DC.
How do you answer their questions about weight of food?

I'm hungry. All cals and macros hit. 12700 steps so far. Pilates at lunch time.
Won't make 15 today as tired but did 16.5 yesterday.
Tomorrow will be woeful as WFH.

lifelongfrugaleer · 10/01/2019 20:55

Does the gym give you what you want happier? What does it give you that boot camp doesn't?
You really miss boot camp when it's not on it seems, do you feel the same about the gym?
Would you regret not doing boot camp?
