Scrap that. He's still a twat.

Happierwithouthim · 08/01/2019 08:04

Funny story as to why I'd so many calories left yesterday my rice was in at 1.24g instead of 124g Grin
So I'd 117 calories left & had only 1g protein to hit so I'd a bag of walkers baked but then ds came with a dairyfine choc Santa lolly and he'd been so sweet to make sure he'd one for everyone that I couldn't refuse him

Had to look back on Saturdays calories then when I had other half of pack of rice so I was 169 cals over then Sad

Good news wreck glad to hear it
10k on spinning bike surely gives me about 5k steps must google & put Fitbit into my sock the next night.
My coccyx is really playing up after it so I'm going to use nappy pads next week Blush

What's he done now?

Had a go at me because he was running late for work. My fault for not telling him what the time was and not helping get the dc ready. (They can get themselves ready and we leave 45 minutes later than him so he doesn't need to get them ready) said I should get them ready before I get myself ready etc

Wolfcub · 08/01/2019 08:16

Does he normally get involved/interfere with your morning routine Wreck? He really does seem to be taking whatever is bothering him out on you.

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/01/2019 08:27

Ooops happier but that's very sweet of DS.

Oh dear wreck, he is on one isn't he.

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/01/2019 08:27

Took me fucking ages to figure out how to get a meal into mfp. Think I did it though

Happierwithouthim · 08/01/2019 08:27

wreck you know this is all on him and nothing to do with you?
Obviously in that moment this morning bringing that up would just add fuel to the fire but maybe later on it could be discussed.

I know when you're running late you want to blame everything and everyone else but it's no one else's fault.

My heart goes out to you because it's frustrating.

Interestingly the first Marie Kondo episode on Netflix the couple are in strife because of the cluttered state of their house, they say that the only two things they argue about are money and state of house -both were problems in my marriage- however you could see the love they had for each other which is why they sought help.
My dc watched the programme and I could see which of them takes after me and which takes after h, dd said our house will never be as clean and tidy as that and ds said that will take a lot of work Mammy but isn't it nice

It took me months to get to grips with putting a recipe in as the total number of grams rather than 3 portions.

Do you've to measure out things exactly each time if you do a meal or is it the ingredients stay the same and you can adjust quantities?

WreckTangled · 08/01/2019 08:32

He usually does the DC's breakfast and DD's packed lunch whilst I'm in the shower and getting ready. They can get themselves dressed and brush their own teeth but it was my fault that ds was being a pita and wouldn't brush his teeth which apparently made dh late and why didn't I tell him what the time was. I told him to stop being such a martyr the dc and I have loads of time to get ready in the morning. Ffs what am i meant to do? Any time I try to talk to him he just reels off all the things I do that upset/annoy him.

Sorry this is the weight loss thread I really don't want it to be a day of me posting my problems.

I've made a ham salad sandwich for lunch, more calorific than my usual soup

Not2bObvious · 08/01/2019 09:01

I did my yoga last night, it was a lot harder & sweatier than previous attempts. I think I’m going to go every Monday. Despite my high hopes, I had a rubbish nights sleep after, awake for what felt like hours and awake for good from 5.15. Anyway at least it stopped me eating after my dinner - and maybe the sleep thing will improve. 162.8 on the scales this morning, getting there!

Wolfcub · 08/01/2019 17:12

Chicken stir fry and noodles from the canteen at lunch.
Pret sandwich and pecan bar for dinner
Half a coffee. Two bottles of water and one massive headache

It has not been a great eating day

WreckTangled · 08/01/2019 17:42

Wolf doesn't sound too bad and enough room for a healthy snack later if you need it.

I've had:

Three coffees
1l of water (I'm getting there!)

Ham salad sandwich with small amount of salad cream
Alpen light bar
Breaded chicken fillet with a ready made (frozen from Aldi) couscous and veg mix thing
Chilli sauce

So mine is worse Grin craving chocolate now but will see how I feel after doing yoga later

Wolfcub · 08/01/2019 20:10

I have opened the treeezelets. I will try to be restrained

Not2bObvious · 08/01/2019 20:23

Day 2 without chocolate....but did just inhale a bag of crisps and some Haribo moam😬 Macros are pretty good apart from sugar but no big deal.
I’m achy after my yoga, I don’t think I’ve ever experienced muscle ache after yoga, so I guess that means I was pushed a bit.
Still 80 cals left I think I’ll carry it over

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/01/2019 21:15

Bang on calories, water and steps. Plus body pump.
Over on fibre and down on protein as ate chocolate instead. Only 10 ish g though

Happierwithouthim · 09/01/2019 06:03

Down on steps yesterday I was tired & couldn't motivate myself to keep going stepping in front of tv, I went from 3500 to 6000 doing this.

My macros were hit, my cals spot on, I fell asleep watching tv woke up like a woman possessed & had 4 heaped spoons of proteinella before sending myself to bed. Guess totm is imminent again (only had it on 30/31 Dec)

Wolfcub · 09/01/2019 07:21

That’s great Happier well done, my scales seem to be going the other way.

lifelongfrugaleer · 09/01/2019 07:23

Well done happier.
Keep going wolf. It will happen.

WreckTangled · 09/01/2019 07:26

Wow I wish I could drop that!

Didn't do yoga yesterday but it's a short one so can probably fit it in before work maybe... my abs are hurting today.

I'm going to start spinning again at the weekend if dh can pay for me...

Happierwithouthim · 09/01/2019 07:33

It's just fluctuations from gymming I'd say wreck but it's not normally so much, I'm getting back on track with fibre too which is a massive help too. You loved spinning when you went so hopefully he can help you out. You're doing so much to help him out with providing free childcare so that he can work.

wolf Keep up your good work it'll happen for you too

life cheers Grin

OP posts:
Wolfcub · 09/01/2019 12:43

Breakfast 2 crumpets
Lunch salami and two fried egg sandwiches with cheese and onion chutney (no butter) and an apple

Happierwithouthim · 09/01/2019 14:14

Lunch sounds lovely wolf

I adjusted my fibre macro down to 30g daily as not hitting 35 was making me Sad and at least now when I go over 30g it'll make me Grin

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 09/01/2019 15:47

I'm going to do my yoga now as I've been struggling to do it in the evening.

So far today:

Not enough water (500ml will up that)
Three coffees
Alpen light bar
Homemade soup
Square of 70% dark chocolate

Dinner is chilli which I'm going to do stuffed peppers with for me with mixed beans. Will do rice for the dc and dh.

Attached is a photo of today's sugar levels. Currently a bit low so having a couple of jelly babies Grin
