Amazing loss so far Sea well done live a little and enjoy your birthday otherwise you will resent it

WreckTangled · 08/02/2019 06:58

Sea you've done so well you deserve to enjoy your birthday without worrying about what you're eating/drinking. It's just one day.

Food shopping today. Will try to resist anything tasty.... I got some lo-dough so I'm going to do a pizza and brownies(!) with it.

Not2bObvious · 08/02/2019 07:19

That’s a brilliant loss sea, I completely get the drag of how much effort all the planning is but hasn’t it paid off so well? 2.5 stone is incredible. Hard work though when you’re having to do it for so many people though.
Have something you’d really love on your birthday, 1 meal or even 1 day won’t set you back.
I’m 160.6 this morning, was 161.2 last Friday. Average is creeping down too. Bloody storm Eric here today will mean no outdoor walks but might do treadmill and eventually get around to doing some weights (avoiding as dreading the inevitable Doms)

Wolfcub · 08/02/2019 07:24

Woo sneaky Friday weigh in and I’ve lost 1lb and 7/8ths. Some of that will no doubt go back on before Sunday’s official weigh in but that’s a good result as far as I’m concerned

Well done Not2

Not2bObvious · 08/02/2019 07:32

Oh that’s brilliant wolf! That is a super start to the weekend

WreckTangled · 08/02/2019 07:38

I weighed the same this morning.

Well done everyone on their losses 💪🏽

WreckTangled · 08/02/2019 12:25

Eugh just sucked at yoga. No balance at all today and fell twice. Ffs.

zebrarobot · 08/02/2019 12:26

Well done on everyone's losses so far. 🥳

I will weigh in on Monday although I am not optimistic. Ive done as much exercise as I can this week and Ive stuck to calories every day but i'm ovulating and also having an ibs flare up so am super bloated with stomach pains. Have done a bit of housework this morning but have come back to bed while the baby naps as I just cant do anything else. Good thing is i dont feel like physically eating so we'll see how the day goes. Had a coffee and a belvita so far earlier on.

zebrarobot · 08/02/2019 12:27

@WreckTangled this was me the other day when i tried it. It was fun tho and I did feel more relaxed afterwards

Wolfcub · 08/02/2019 13:10

No breakfast
Noodle bowl for lunch - added a spoonful of peanut butter very nice

Dinner is pizza, garlic bread, salad, coleslaw and profiteroles so I’m going to aim to avoid eating until then

ChristmasSeacow · 08/02/2019 14:06

I wouldn’t care about sticking to Slimming World on my birthday if it wasn’t 9 days before my holiday! Grin Gotta shoehorn myself into a swimming cossie. Blob blob Grin

WreckTangled · 08/02/2019 14:08

I bought some knickers earlier in a size 8 as they didn't have a 10 and as it was Sainsbury's I thought I would be ok. Didn't realise they were high waisted or TINY. Photo next to dd(8 and skinny)'s for comparison. No way will I even for one bum cheek into these ShockHmm

Bloody hell @WreckTangled they do look teeny

zebrarobot · 08/02/2019 14:32

@Wolfcub pizza for dinner here too. Although ive got myself one of the kids size ones. Its 313 cals from tesco, going to add some extra grated cheese for 47 cals (weight watchers cheese) and some sweet corn to it i think. Having it with some potato wedges and coleslaw. The whole thing is just under 650 cals so happy with that as it feels like a real treat. I love pizza. Hoping it does the trick. Dough balls sound dreamy tho.

Not2bObvious · 08/02/2019 15:18

Just treated myself to a dress & a top from Oasis reduced by over 70%, go to pay and there’s another 25% off🤗 Happy days. The dress is lovely & summery, it’s gone straight in the holiday drawer for my main break in July. Great incentive to keep me away from the biccies this wet/windy afternoon.

Justanothermile · 08/02/2019 15:23

Well done guys on the losses. Seacow, that's a fabulous overall loss, well done. It's hard juggling differing tastes, routines, working days and not resorting to crappy choices.

Hope you feel better soon zebra.

You okay happier? X

Did a 20 mile run this morning. Yep, 20. Marathon training is tough and shitty at times but does make you realise what the body can do. The weather made the miles somewhat harder and I didn't enjoy walking the dogs for an hour very shortly after but it probably did me some good. I'll be asleep on the sofa by 8pm tonight, luckily DH is used to that!

Food.
Toast and peanut butter.
Pasta and veggie tagine.
Hummus and courgette.
Couple of gels.

Will be tomorrow before I start to get hungry as my stomach is often churned up after a long run.

Not sure for tea yet but I fancy oven chips!

I dare not look at my steps. 😁

Not2bObvious · 08/02/2019 15:26

Oh and if anyone has Netflix, there’s an Aussie series call “Bringing Sexy Back” about people needing to lose weight. Only 1 season (boo) I’m loving it, either marching on the spot watching it, or jogging on the treadmill. Very inspirational

ChristmasSeacow · 08/02/2019 16:25

Love a bit of body transformation telly Not

Oh go on Jam, look at your steps Grin

Those knickers are ridiculous Wreck!

I’m really motivated for the first time ever Jam and it’s health /my kids that’s spurring me on, which is the best motivation. I’ve been 13-14 stone most of my adult life and I wasn’t exactly happy with it but I carried it evenly and was in proportion so looked alright (big boobs, small waist) and it didn’t get in the way of doing anything. But over the last 2-3 years with the stress of DS’s ASD diagnosis, having another baby (and the eating-biscuits-with-one-hand-instead-of-meals-aftermath), losing my dad, slipping a disc in my back... it all got a bit out of hand and I was 2 st above my usual ‘best’ weight. And I really don’t feel good at that weight. Not comfortable, not attractive, joints are creaking... and I really don’t want another slipped disc. Or worse, to leave my children without a mother. So it is actually been easy to turn my attitude round but the actual effort of food prep is still a bit of a strain. My sisters are doing SW too and I tell them they’ve no idea how lucky they are just to cook for themselves!

Luckily I like ALL FOOD, not just the unhealthy stuff Grin

Justanothermile · 08/02/2019 17:01

Can't think of better reasons than your health and your kids seacow. There are no other reasons that matter more than these two things. But you've had a tricky few years, with DS and then Dd and your poor DF. Cooking from scratch just ain't realistic sometimes.

Dd is insisting on being healthy when I would have caved and she's making a tofu stir fry. Therefore no oven chips!

42k steps!

Ggreengrass1 · 08/02/2019 17:14

sea you're doing amazing, enjoy your birthday on Sunday and then get back on it.
jam your 42k steps make my 16k look puny! But I guess you've been for a mega run.
Friends for tea tonight I've made Delia's chocolate bread and butter pudding- will try to only eat a small piece. Smile
Hope everythings OK happier
wolf sorry to hear work is super crappy, congrats on still losing though.

WreckTangled · 08/02/2019 19:38

Over on the calories today but I'm not bothered. I planned it Grin I'm still doing well drinking water though.

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/02/2019 20:03

Whens the marathon jam. Is it march? It's Berlin isn't it?

Body pump, steps shite. I will scrape 10k if I dance about. Macro and calls but though

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/02/2019 20:03

Love your attitude and motivation sea.

Happierwithouthim · 08/02/2019 20:42

Will check in properly later just posting on the run but yes I'm fine.
We got house valued yesterday, major deal as it finally means my life can start to move on.
Once in a lifetime wobble because next house will be mine & mine alone so if I ever sell it'll be by choice rather than marital breakdown.

I'm back on track today & fitted this into my macros

I think I’d throw a wobbly if I were denied chips after all that training! You’d be wondering who the child was if that happened😉
I’m a couple of hundred over too - I think it’s kinda inevitable on Fridays but could have been much worse. Although it’s early yet, going to be a challenge...
