Weight is doing really well this week. I’m going to say that now as I’m visiting a colleague and I know they are buying buns

lifelongfrugaleer · 07/02/2019 06:19

Well done on that streak not.
Hope the antibiotics kick in soon curvy.
Enjoy the bun wolf.

Got everything yesterday. Will do same today but will only get 2 weights workout this week, the others will be towards steps

WreckTangled · 07/02/2019 07:00

Little bit of weight off again this morning. Have planned lunch and dinner and have a fairly busy day. The dc are both at a friends after school so will try to fit in some exercise. Not sure if u should do a HIIT session or a weights session or combined? Will look for something on YouTube. Maybe a body coach 15 min HIIT followed by an abs session as that's where I really need the work!

My mum took ds1 to school this morning but I decided to take ds2 out a walk down to Lidl as we needed milk. Ive got 4666 steps already so should hit 10k for the day no probs as I still need to do school pick up later on as well and then have work this evening.

Will squeeze in a workout when ds2 naps.

Food wise today i was planning to eat less carbs but the meal plan is jacket potato so it looks like this

B - cookie crisp cereal w skimmed milk

Snack (probs about 11) apple

L - ham and cheese salad and a cup-a-soup

D - jacket potato, reduced s&s beans and some low fat coleslaw

Will then likely have weight watchers yog and a 10 cal jelly after dinner

Do others find meal planning helps? It definitely keeps me on track

WreckTangled · 07/02/2019 10:10

Definitely zebra I'm having jacket potato tonight too!

Not2bObvious · 07/02/2019 10:15

I eat plenty of carbs, really cannot so low carb at all. I’ve had a jacket potato the last 2 nights - yum! 129 cals and over 5gr of fibre for a frozen potato from Aldi. Yes big meal planner here, that’s the frugal me coming through. Tonight I’m making Thai fish cakes from vastly reduced frozen cod. Cannot wait

zebrarobot · 07/02/2019 12:26

@Not2bObvious i'll need to get to aldi! The asda and mccain ones are around 200 cals per potato!

Not2bObvious · 07/02/2019 13:23

I know, and the Aldi ones used to be but I think they’re a tiny bit smaller now (and clearly cheaper)

lifelongfrugaleer · 07/02/2019 16:09

Gonna go over calories today as the only choice was bread based at the hospital.
Steps are due but doing 45 minutes Zumba tonight.

Ggreengrass1 · 07/02/2019 16:16

Doing OK today so far, 16k steps and no major sugar binges, going out with friends from old job tonight, but got to drive there and work in the am so no alcohol, but pub food.
Going to have skyr and banana snack now.
Keep going everyone.Smile

WreckTangled · 07/02/2019 16:48

Just did 2x15 minute body coach sessions and then 20 mins yoga 💪🏽 life is easier without the dc here Grin

WreckTangled · 07/02/2019 17:55

118 calories under (I think I've worked it all out correctly).

Lunch- pasta pesto, alpen light, after eight (didn't stick to my no sweet stuff 🤦🏽‍♀️)

Dinner- small jacket potato with 1tbsp of butter, tuna with salad cream, a small amount of greater cheese and plain salad (just rocket, tomatoes, cucumber and yellow pepper). Skyr for pudding.

Wolfcub · 07/02/2019 18:02

Breakfast two slices toast
Lunch bun and peanut breakfast bar
Dinner Greggs chicken tikka baguette

Pilates later

I have had a massively shit day (week) and still have work to do tonight so I will try and resist comfort eating

Justanothermile · 07/02/2019 19:16

Evening.

Sorry that I have been awol, had a stinker of a cold that knocked me for six. I've spent the rest of the week catching up on life.

Back to it now though, I suspect I lost some weight being ill but obviously I did virtually nothing activity-wise so it'll balance out.

My first exercise was Sunday when I rocked up at a 10k and managed to bang out 43.40 - so I'm in good shape at least. Should be at this stage of training.

Food today
Peanut butter on toast and a banana, two satsumas.
Butternut squash and salad wrap, small piece of brownie.
Veggie tagine, roast spuds, broccoli.
Hummus and courgette.

Having a glass of red, I've hardly had a drink since January so I'll be tipsy if I have another.😁

I'll keep up from now on.

Sorry you're having a shitty week wolf. ThanksThanks

Happierwithouthim · 07/02/2019 20:08

Hi all just checking in, will catch up properly tomo. I've had a massive binge 😡 but it's completely over now & I'm going to forget about it now.

Oh my lord I need a tea with sugar after Pilates. Instructor thinks I have hyper mobile joints which I am assuming isn’t a great thing

lifelongfrugaleer · 07/02/2019 20:32

Line under it happier. New Day Tomorrow.
Do you know what triggered it.

Body pump done and Zumba to get my steps up. Not liking 1500 cals as feel like I'm teetering on a binge.
187 calories over due to lunch time pannini ice cream Grin

WreckTangled · 07/02/2019 20:38

Don't worry happier my binge didn't really do much damage Thanks

Wolfcub · 07/02/2019 21:20

No sugar in the tea but I am having a medicinal sloe gin

Not2bObvious · 07/02/2019 22:32

Oops 166 over here too. Just over 15,000 steps and a mega hungry day with it. Only 1 glass of wine (company over for dinner, alcohol essential) So all in all that’s not too bad.
Sorry you felt like you binge’ed happier, I think being in a calorie deficit on an ongoing basis just has to mean the odd splurge. There’s just days when it gets to you.
Arg, nearly Friday again. Want so much to avoid a 3lb bloat by Monday, best get some serious realistic planning done.

ChristmasSeacow · 07/02/2019 23:54

Nice to see you back Jam, it does sound like Actual Flu but you’re bouncing back well!

Sorry your week was shit Wolf and you’re feeling a bit bingey Happier, you alright?

Weigh in at SW tonight and another 2.5lb down, which I am delighted with. I got my 2.5 stone award tonight, yay! I have stuck to plan this week but had some very near big wobbles - down to tiredness (work is very full-on) and generally feeling a bit fed up of having to think so much about food, ie planning and being prepared in advance so I don’t just grab convenient stuff. It’s not just my food I have to think about, it’s the fussy DCs (pasta or pizza? If not, no thanks!) and also fussy DH (no cheese, lamb, carrots, mushrooms, green beans, blah blah). And my mum and sister need feeding 2-3 nights pw between them, they’re also on SW so I can’t just switch off and eat a jacket spud when I’m tired. But. It is working, I just have to keeps slogging away at being organised. And carrying my lunch to work - with shoes and a laptop and paperwork that rucksack is flippin’ Heavy!

Also, happy to say Tesco Braeburns are nice again at last. But I still spent a wee fortune on fruit in M&S today. I just love cherries and theirs are lovely at the mo.

It’s my birthday on Sunday and I can’t decide whether to stick to plan or live a little. My SW group is changing to Tuesdays from next week so it’s only 5 days between groups this week as it is. I am not expecting spectacular results. Also out at a drinks party tomorrow night Confused

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/02/2019 06:20

Honestly sea I would live a little and step back on plan Monday. Well done on the losses.

WFH today so shite steps. Will do pump at lunch time
