I had ready brek with raspberries and dark chocolate chips for breakfast. Was pretty tasty

WreckTangled · 28/01/2019 12:21

Today's going to shit so I'm just going to enjoy it and start again tomorrow Grin (it's the breakfast that did it...!)

Not2bObvious · 28/01/2019 13:46

That sounded like a dessert breakfast wreck, yum. Nearly slipped at lunch but was good & went to Aldi and got stuff to make lunch for the rest of the week. Happier that I have enough for most of the week for under €5. Lunch out would have cost more than that & used up wayyy too much of my precious 1600 (aiming to cut back 100 a day to payback Saturday slip)

Happierwithouthim · 28/01/2019 18:05

I find starting day with sweet stuff can escalate

Well my colleague brought biscuits on our visit so that's what made it worse... I wasn't craving anything but after those I thought why not Grin

ChristmasSeacow · 28/01/2019 19:01

I got a vomiting bug over the weekend so didn’t hang onto most of the lovely food I had at a wedding on Saturday (made it to the evening party before being ‘hit’ but then had to go home early). Ate almost nothing yesterday - just a small bag of popcorn and half a banana. My appetite has come back properly today though and I am back on SlimmingWorld World Plan!

I agree Jam, I don’t think as carefully about food as the people tracking macros. I am not sure my brain can handle that many variables Grin. I just try to eat a lot more veg than I tended to previously and a lot less chocolate and bread. And I count my treats.

So far today I’ve had a banana, cereal bar, bowl of cherries, packet of seaweed thins, a roast beef, horseradish and rocket sandwich and a few cups of tea. Chicken fried rice for dinner, home made with lots of egg and veg. I’ll have enough room for a treat so might have my last walnut whip from Christmas Grin. 12000 steps today so far but doubt I’ll manage much more as I’m planning to sit on my bum and crochet tonight.

Jam 40000 steps and still not done? Shock

Wolfcub · 28/01/2019 19:28

Sea I’m glad you’re feeling well enough to eat. I’ve lost track a bit today but I think I’ve had

1.75 slices of toast
Apple
Skyr
Tiny box of raisins
Sugar free veggie jelly
Dry variety box shreddies

Cauliflower mac and cheese (this will not have been healthy)
Cake with a few frozen strawberries made into a coulis. The cake is done now.

Ggreengrass1 · 28/01/2019 20:16

Oh dear: lolly, twix, 2 doughnuts, peanut butter sandwiches!! This is not going well!Confused

Not2bObvious · 28/01/2019 21:36

Finished the day on 1524, that’s pretty good for me. Kept busy and squeezed in around 12,000 steps. For a day with no actual specific walks I’m well chuffed. Didn’t get my weigh in this morning so tomorrow will be 1 of 5 weigh ins. I’m out overnight Saturday and I’m not bringing my scales for the next morning. There are limits!
Up at stupid o’clock tomorrow to start work at 7am so it’s doubtful I’ll get up even earlier to run but stranger things have happened

ChristmasSeacow · 28/01/2019 23:28

It never takes me long to get my appetite back Wolf Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 29/01/2019 06:14

First day yesterday on 1500 and smashed it. I set my goal at 10k steps and got 13.5 though that sounds shit next to jam Grin

Got body pump today I hope if my meeting doesn't over run.

WreckTangled · 29/01/2019 07:03

Today I will make up for yesterday. Should be easy as I'm busy at work then dd has swimming lessons.

Lunch is soup

Dinner is chilli

Not2bObvious · 29/01/2019 09:39

Scales at 161.2 so same as Friday and matching my Sunday average. I was the same weight last Tuesday. Days pretty well planned out from a food perspective but where I’ll get my steps is going to be a challenge. PT meeting late afternoon so started work early so I can leave early. Pissing rain too so don’t think I’ll get a walk in. I’ll just have to find a way!
life is 1500 the cals the app gave you?

Happierwithouthim · 29/01/2019 10:55

I'm same weight 162.7 today and yesterday and this is also my weekly average from last week, however I'm seeing a flash on the scales of a lower weight too. When this has happened before I've seen that weight before end of week so maybe there's good stuff on the way!

I'm tempted to just go ahead and sign up for the more expensive rate and have access to the app and then I stop myself and say I can do this as I am also for now. The exercise bit interests me though.

My bootcamp last night was a tough session and I found it especially challenging for some reason, nothing too difficult in it but I guess my body just wasn't up to it, back to normal again this morning.

Steps are my biggest challenge not2 you're normally great so I'm sure it'll balance out for you as the week goes on, I'm also out overnight Sat night and not bringing scales with me!

Have prawns defrosting for dinner and not sure what else, if dm is eating with me I might do some salmon too, also have dc to feed this evening so could be a mish mash of stuff going on. Maybe I'll just do chicken curry and defer prawns to tomorrow evening.

green is today going any better
seacow how are you and dm?

Am doing well so far today. Should make up for the 700 calories I went over yesterday GrinGrin

Justanothermile · 29/01/2019 16:13

The big step count was because of the big run😂.

Plus, having two spaniels means I do probably about 13k steps at least before I've run a step.

That being said I've been ill these last couple of days so less steps and no running. Not bad today as I've had to walk the dogs but not many yesterday as I slept most of it!

I'll record food from today.
Slice of toast and peanut butter.
Small 'cheese' salad sandwich, satsuma, two falafels.
Veggie sausages, mash, gravy, veggies.
Piece of home made lonely flapjack.

No running, two dog walks.

lifelongfrugaleer · 29/01/2019 17:33

Yes the app put me to 1500 as I selected 10k steps. I'm also hovering on the weight band too.

I'm feeling mixed about the app. I will pm not and happier.

Ggreengrass1 · 29/01/2019 17:37

Better today on the step front 20k, but pie & peas for lunch, + cake. But not eaten loadsa sugary stuff between meals yet! Will stand on the scales tomorrow first thing, before coffee but after a wee obs!

Justanothermile · 29/01/2019 17:44

What's this app?

Wolfcub · 29/01/2019 18:15

Evening all. You all seem to be doing very well today.

Food today
Two slices of toast and marmite
Leftover cauliflower mac and cheese
Dinner is rice plus whatever it is I’ve dragged out of the freezer looks like some sort of meat and chickpeas

May have some skyr later

No movement as even though I’ve been at home and would normally pace on a call today’s have all needed to be deskbound

WreckTangled · 29/01/2019 18:24

Yoga was tough tonight my arms are wobbly!

Food today:

Curried butternut soup
One dark choc Leibniz mmmm

Chilli (no rice) with big salad will have some skyr once I've put ds to bed and that means I've evened out yesterday's binge and am within my calories over the two days. 6500 steps BlushBlush

northender · 29/01/2019 20:25

Hard gym session yesterday, circuits tonight.
Toast & cottage cheese this morning
Apple banana and nuts mid morning.
Small portion of veg & lentil soup & yoghurt for lunch
1 fajita with leftover roast pork for tea.
May have had a few chocs at work today Blush
Tomorrow is another day!

lifelongfrugaleer · 29/01/2019 21:03

The app is a coaching app for the group not, happier and I are in.

Not2bObvious · 29/01/2019 21:53

Another day done, managed to finish the day on 1569 to be exact. So another little chip in the over eat of last Saturday. If I can claw it back & manage the 1700 on average for 2 whole weeks that’ll be history made for me. For those not doing the same thing as life, happier and me this next bit will probably sound odd - Of course I’m still doing rubbish on my macros but as I’ve bleated before I don’t especially agree with the specific protein levels being essential and honestly I have mine set for the 1800 percentages even though I’m eating 1700. Although I do hit my fibre most days (for all the good it does me!) I’m also trying to get much more water in, that might help. Oh and I hit just over 13,700 steps so hurrah, got it done son😉

Happierwithouthim · 30/01/2019 06:11

19kcal over yesterday after having one of this gigantic cookies from Lidl bakery - this was my one indulgence after an awful solicitors meeting with H, #proud, I didn't meet my macros but I didn't lose my shit either Grin

I need to tackle my steps, have bootcamp for another week, will finish that & then get my shit together properly

Well done all of you on yesterday
