Today I went over by 424 calories- combination of stress brought on by ds tantrum culminating in me leaving him at home with au pair & going to town alone with dd, I never do this, scratchy throat & generally feeling a little under the weather & hunger & no healthy options in reach, I could've saved myself from rest of the overindulge after Freddo, milky bar crispy roll & pack of snacks but I didn't I went on to have subway 6" sub still fine only 100 cal but then getting dds kids meal in Burger King I 'treated' myself to Belgian waffle with caramel sauce which was delicious

It's done, drawing a line & moving on

424 isn’t bad happier, you just ate at maintenance level. 1 day veering a smidge off track.
Gone to bed, teeth flossed & brushed, skin cleansed/toned/oiled/moisturised. Should have done that before my extra 200 cals! Up to 14,000 steps Grin

Happierwithouthim · 18/01/2019 05:45

Had a hot port followed by a hot whiskey so actual went over by 549 for a finish, going to leave bootcamp until this eve as I've got stuffed head & sore throat etc this morning

It's one day happier. Today will be better though sorry you are coming down with something.

Happierwithouthim · 18/01/2019 06:28

I seem to catch something every time I do bootcamp, I'm wondering is it cos I go straight to work and don't get to change out of my sweaty clothes for about 45 mins to an hour?

Well my healthy day has gone to shit. Dd is ill so I can't go food shopping and the cupboards and fridge are bare. We will have to make do for lunch and dinner (won't have breakfast).

ChristmasSeacow · 18/01/2019 07:16

Morning, been at work for the last 2 days. They are long days with commute so I don’t quite keep up - I’ve caught up now!

Happier, how you can like peanut butter but not the on halo top I’ll never know. I’m not wild about ice cream in general but I could eat that stuff every day and I pretty much do

Yesterday was 18k steps - had to walk a lot between sites for meetings. It was a beautiful day to be walking around the pretty bits of London, but v cold.

I’ve stuck to SW rigorously for the whole week. Went to weigh in last night and had lost 3lb so was very pleased with that. I’m hoping to have another week completely on plan - the week after won’t be as good because I’m going to a wedding on the Saturday and will eat what I’m given and drink what I like! 4.5 weeks till my holiday in India, I’m hoping to lose another 9 lb by then. It might not be doable but I’ll definitely try!

Wfh today, still doing the school run so will hopefully hit my 10k steps but not much more. Have a good day, all!

WreckTangled · 18/01/2019 07:19

Sea I didn't know you were going to India? What an amazing opportunity!

Wolfcub · 18/01/2019 07:25

Morning all

Breakfast will be pain au chocolate
Lunch is probably toast and cheese
Dinner will be takeaway and wine.

ChristmasSeacow · 18/01/2019 07:33

It's for a wedding Wreck (same friends as the wedding in 10 days - they are having 2 Grin). The groom is DH’s oldest and best friend and was his best man so we wouldn’t miss it unless there was absolutely no way to manage it. A week in India without the kids ShockGrin. It’ll be 32C and I’ve no idea what summer clothes I might have that will fit. I’m going to have to have a good dig around soon so I have time to hit eBay if I’m stuck.

Wolfcub · 18/01/2019 07:37

Sea I can recommend some lovely long lightweight skirts if you like. I lived in them on hols in the summer

Not2bObvious · 18/01/2019 08:17

Damn totm, blooming scales is fluctuating up the last 2 days. I knows it’s not a big deal but coupled with my hormones I want to f**k the scales out the window! And breathe....
Rant over, woke at stupid o’clock and then fell back asleep. Overslept a bit & feel like I have a hangover. Only in work a couple of hours this morning, then wfh. So all in all it shouldn’t be too hard a day. Apart from feeling crap & having no clue how/when I’ll get my steps in or how I’ll resist eating all the food!!!

Wolfcub · 18/01/2019 10:44

Well I may not have done many steps so far this week (guessing no tracker) but I’ve been pretty active this morning. Dusted up and downstairs, cleaned bathroom, packed scout stuff, two loads of washing, one load of ironing, one load put away, one load folded, one load hung up.

Still need to vac living room, clean kitchen surfaces and mop the kitchen floor. Then other than sticking on some scout badges I am done

Wolfcub · 18/01/2019 21:09

Today is officially a write off. Tomorrow is a new day.

WreckTangled · 18/01/2019 21:10

Snap wolf even though dh made me this lovely salad to go with my pizza Grin

Justanothermile · 19/01/2019 08:09

That salad looks lovely wrecked. Move on wolf, a dodgy day can strengthen resolve without causing too much damage.

I had a super step day yesterday. 40k steps. That's what marathon training does for you, and a super long two hour dog walk. I weirdly get 'lag' on the appetite and so it will be today I feel hungry and basically eat all day.

Yesterday.
Peanut butter on toast and a banana pre 16 mile run.
Two gels while running.
Two eggs on toast and two falafels post run.
Stir fry (veggie), noodles and three dim sum type things.
Three crackers with marmite, small square of chocolate.

Today an easy gym session and a short jog to loosen off.

Justanothermile · 19/01/2019 08:10

The dog walk was because they were due at the vet for booster jabs and I was early so it got longer and longer......
Certainly slept last night.

Oh - glass and a half of red.

northender · 19/01/2019 09:10

Impressive jam
A day at a time Wolf
Yesterday I had low GI toast with hummus & avocado for breakfast, lunch out with dh, quiche & salad, rhubarb crumble with custard, salmon & broccoli pasta for tea
Need to plan meals and exercise for the week ahead today as I'm back to work on Monday.

WreckTangled · 19/01/2019 09:29

I had four mini creme eggs yesterday Blush

Yesterday's and today's yoga done ✔️

Wolfcub · 19/01/2019 09:55

Morning all

I think it’s curry for tea with rice, I’m assuming that what I got out of the freezer is chicken and a pot of onion masala

Probably toast for breakfast/lunch

lifelongfrugaleer · 19/01/2019 11:05

Ah freezer roulette wolf.
Out for lunch with the girls and drinks so going for least damage options.
15k steps, body pump and in Cals yesterday. Just about in macros then realised I was looking at the week view #idiot

Happierwithouthim · 19/01/2019 11:07

Yesterday was another write off for me complete carb fest, I did my bootcamp & worked but didn't hit my steps.

I've planned a pj day for today but food will be more controlled. Would love to go to gym but want to give my body time to get better.

Roast chicken in fridge to be used so gonna have that for dinner & may make lunch from it too or else freeze it for during the week.

WreckTangled · 19/01/2019 11:09

I had ready brek this morning. It was delicious! I've bought myself a massive chocolate bar and I'm going to eat it. It's planned rather than a binge so I figure that's ok Grin won't have anything sweet next week apart from yogurt to make up for it. I am a chocolate addict which is unfortunate being diabetic

Not2bObvious · 19/01/2019 11:20

I’m defo on track for a gain but considering I had an unexpected loss last week it’ll balance out. Totm has made me a greedy wagon, any excuse. Must do better, this Christmas gain isn’t going to just melt away

lifelongfrugaleer · 19/01/2019 11:37

You totally need to get better happier. Your small steps are better than nothing.
Do it wreck.
Totm is a bitch for knocking off track.
Brush down, start again when it's right.

Walked to the station. 40 minutes ish.
In quite liking this walking everywhere.
