Hee hee.
I'm a bit tired today. Getting ready to walk to work in a bit.

Not2bObvious · 16/01/2019 07:35

Scales down this morning after weekend bloat. Was a bit surprised as I fell face first into a tin of QS (lesson for my DH, just coz they’re cheap doesn’t mean you should buy them) I feel like I’ve been handed a reprieve!
Totm coming which is usually a ‘mare for overeating so I need to be prepared. They key might be to not let myself get hungry/hangry. I’m going to start today with poached egg on toast with chopped tomato. And with luck that’ll get me to lunch hour. I don’t think all bran will cut it this morning, keeping my fibre high is doing sweet FA for my, ahem, movements.

WreckTangled · 16/01/2019 07:41

I'm back to where I was before the weekend. Humph. Really want to see a 2 instead of a 3 on the scales. Totm here too so maybe that's why although on mini pill so only very light.

So dark here. Have planned lunch and dinner and put it in to MFP have 500 cals left to play with (there will probably be cake at work Grin)

northender · 16/01/2019 07:57

Morning. I'm not doing the scales yet, just trying to get into a better eating pattern.
I've revived my Fitbit and done 10000 steps on Monday. 8,000 yesterday plus a body weight circuits class.

QuiteFrugal2019 · 16/01/2019 09:32

8000 steps in the bag already Halo as I walked in.
Really "glowing" now !
Luckily have locker, festival wipes ,hairdryers and shower so I can make myself presentable .
Scrambled egg on toast,2 slices sunflower toast and 2 mandarins.
DH has laid out his fruit for the day Grin

Happierwithouthim · 16/01/2019 09:35

quite I'd get over the fruit but the sausages thing would have made me implode, at least he's leaving the nicer fruit to you Grin
unescorted mine do that and then I stop buying it and it's like where's such and such I really wanted that for my lunch Angry

not2 great to see scales coming down by mid week isn't it, gives you hope for weekly average being down Smile
wreck the first day or two of totm normally gives a spike on the scales followed by a drop so hopefully you'll see the drop in next few days

Scales has dropped again this morning so I'm well pleased, my average is down by 1lb overall so far.

Got my fitbit syncing again too.

Had body analysis done at bootcamp last night showing skeletal mass/bodyfat composition/protein/magnesium content etc. No surprise that I'm overweight but my skeletal mass is good so I'm pleased with that. Guy doing it is a childhood friend, and he said he was disappointed that he didn't have the machine last Sept when I kicked off my weight loss and fitness properly. Will have it done again at end of four week bootcamp and then will consult with him about gym work too. Interestingly my cal were set at 1691 and I'm on 1600 with Team RH so that's all good.

My protein and magnesium were just above the normal range for my weight/height so that's all good too.

north all good so, how's food with you?

I forgot my eggs for my poached eggs so had toast & lemon curd instead, surprisingly I'm not starving I thought I would be.

Fage with berries and golden crunch for 10am
Quorn tikka masala and a pink lady for lunch
Quite pink lady apples come to work with me because dc don't appreciate them, eat half and rest goes to hens Grin

Wish I could walk to work and get steps in during the course of my day Envy

OP posts:
ChristmasSeacow · 16/01/2019 10:15

Instead of changing onto a different tube line and getting off nearer work I walked an extra 15m today. I think it worked out the same time-wise but I’d done 4300 steps before I started work haven’t done another step since . I was feeling quite pleased with that till I saw Quite’s post Grin

I’ve brought lunch so hoping for a diet-y and frugal day.

Happierwithouthim · 16/01/2019 10:21

It all helps sea

Wolfcub · 16/01/2019 11:04

I love pink ladies

Pain au chocolate for breakfast (eat the freezer again)

Will be toast and goats cheese for lunch. Left over from Xmas and beat before tomorrow

Dinner will be ciabatta pizza (freezer gate again)

Happierwithouthim · 16/01/2019 11:28

I hardly ever buy goats cheese yet my favourite thing to get in a local restaurant is their goats cheese salad Hmm

I organised my freezer at the weekend before shopping, dinner will either be turkey burgers which I have defrosting or dinner at a friends for her birthday

That's a good idea sea Shane it's so miserable outside today.

I hope so happier!

Today so far:

Two slices of quorn 'ham'
Alpen light bar
2 celery sticks with humous
Carrot and coriander soup (not much though maybe 2/3 of a portion as that's all that was left)
Bite size cupcake Wink
Mini gingerbread man

Dinner is going to be a vegetable burger in a brioche bun with a side salad. Yoghurt for pudding and all well within calories.

Happierwithouthim · 16/01/2019 14:44

I saw 161.8 this morning - Hopefully I'll see 159.something before end of month Hmm

Sounds like a good food day wreck will dc eat same?

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 16/01/2019 15:01

That’s really good happier, keep going the way you have and I’m sure you’ll drop 2lb in the 2 weeks or so.
I’m just hungry all the blooming time! Fighting the urges though. My blender cup I use for shakes has cracked and that’s stymied my protein shake plans. I was trying to add 1 in a day to boost my protein. A spare bottle costs nigh on the price of a new blender, or I could upgrade but dunno if I need more functions. Ack, so irritating, the blender itself is fine - just the stupid bottleAngry

WreckTangled · 16/01/2019 15:14

Dc will have the same dinner, yes. Ds requested vegetable burgers this week. I might to some spaghetti hoops for them though as they'll have already had veg sticks and humous today and they're not so keen on salad.

lifelongfrugaleer · 16/01/2019 17:13

Took my lunch but forgot about a leaving do. Went to pizza express so got the 600 Cal one.
Started a want to binge now.
50 cals over and craving sugar as spectacular shite day.
2g under fibre
Rest ok.
12k steps this far.

I'm travelling on business Tomorrow so know it's going to be bread based. Not great but will go for least damage.

northender · 16/01/2019 17:18

Those little extra walks really are quick wins Christmas.
Happier well done, going in the right direction.
I had smoothie for breakfast. My usual cottage cheese, oats and fruit combo.
Broccoli & stilton soup for lunch with a bread roll
A carrot and a yoghurt for a snack this afternoon.
Going out for tea. It will be pizza or pasta.
5,300 steps so far today, no classes but will book for circuits tomorrow

Wolfcub · 16/01/2019 17:28

Life can you pick up a salad and some chicken skewers from M&S before you go to the office

Wolfcub · 16/01/2019 17:29

I slipped and had some crisps and fudge. Work has been a git again

WreckTangled · 16/01/2019 17:30

Mmm I love fudge! My dinner was really good and I'm full now. Can't wait for bed Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 16/01/2019 17:41

I've just scoffed half a tub of halo ice cream. _147 Cal.

Good idea wolf

ChristmasSeacow · 16/01/2019 18:51

The peanut butter halo top is immense!

Not2bObvious · 16/01/2019 19:21

I need to close my kitchen now, I’ve gone around 200 cals over which is ok enough for a bad totm craving day. Should finish the day with close to 13,000 steps so that’ll have to do. Early start tomorrow, if I have the energy I’ll get up 40 mins earlier to get a run in on the treadmill.
I could go to yoga but I’m too cold & lazy to move

WreckTangled · 16/01/2019 19:26

I did yoga. Have probably gone over cals today with the jelly babies I just had to eat but not counting them as medicinal.

QuiteFrugal2019 · 16/01/2019 20:15

Managed 17000 steps in the end Confused
My legs ache !
Sea every step counts Smile
Bolgnese sauce over a big bowl of vegetables for dinner.
Melon
