Phew wolf.
Back on track today with my usual high protein breakfast and roast beef with lots of veggies for tea. No gym this morning but will get my steps in round IKEA and the metro centre. Not frugaleering though.

Wolfcub · 13/01/2019 08:46

So according to the evil new scales I am 15.3 and three eights. Bah!

lifelongfrugaleer · 13/01/2019 09:19

And has that motivated you wolf?

LonelyOversharer · 13/01/2019 09:19

New scales are the worst. We have a stupid set of Garmin smart ones (bought trade price of course shop era, and sent back 3 times as they are crap), which dp got but never stands on himself. They link to my garmin connect and do not lie. Stupid graphs. They can tell one person from another too, so if I jump off quickly it thinks I'm a "?guest" instead of me!

I went and got a new skirt and jumper yesterday (for a funeral, no black), mantaray in the sale. I fit a snug 10 now, but for once didn't feel too bad in the mirrors. Kept my thermals on though which do smooth things out rather. It was getting a swimsuit which prompted my health kick 2 years ago. Dd1 and I almost died laughing/of shame/just stuck as I struggled into items then.

Not sure what is on the food radar today. The house is full as I did a full restock yesterday. Dp is making a lot of slow cooker stews. I think I need to work on his portion control though. I had about a kilo of rice the other night (I left some, but would have eaten much less if it hadn't been on my plate in the first place).

Wolfcub · 13/01/2019 09:20

I think I was feeling motivated anyway. Now I’m feeling motivated and slightly pissed off Grin

WreckTangled · 13/01/2019 09:20

Spinning done. Thought I was going to be sick and I have a headache despite taking paracetamol before I left. Going to enjoy my trek bar now 😋

Wolfcub · 13/01/2019 09:24

Half a slice of toast with peanut butter for breakfast. Out for afternoon tea for lunch. Will probably do a bacon sandwich for tea.

Happierwithouthim · 13/01/2019 10:15

Delighted with my -1.4lbs, other than pms induced fall into proteinella I've had a good mfp week and two days saw all greens on my Fitbit screen, averaging 7500 steps though which I need to improve on. It was first full week at work though so I'm ok with that.
Did a good food shop yesterday & today I'm going to try out planning my week ahead in mfp to hit my macros, we got a big new fridge at work so lots of room to store my food there too. Having 30g all bran with 50ml of alpro along with my fage at 10am is helping with fibre goals & I've stocked up on berries too.
Bootcamp will take help with steps hopefully.

Wolf you know it now and can deal with it

Wreck you've spinning done I'm not out of bed yet Blush

Eggs & bacon medallions for brekkie and roast chicken dinner tonight, lunch not planned out yet. No dc so could get away with protein shake & have a very indulgent roast dinner Grin

Oh is alpro good for fibre?

Channel that pissed offness into this bring the last time you see those numbers wolf. Down not up obvs.

Good going wreck. Drink plenty fluids.

Wolfcub · 13/01/2019 12:18

Does shivering your arse off for two hours count as exercise. Brrr. Will do some plank and physio before I go out for afternoon tea

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 13/01/2019 12:32

Hi all.
Weight this morning 80.2kg.
I obviously need to do better, but at least I didn't gain.
A bit like wolf, with the tempting food in the house, I have eaten the last bit of the stollen and the last three mince pies, no one else likes them, but it's all gone now so hopefully this week will be better. (I had these over the course of the week, not this morning!)

I have been looking at the Happy Pear for some inspiration and will be making their spanish stew. It is low in fat and high in protein, which will be very good for lunches as I mostly work outside and need the energy to get through the afternoon.

WreckTangled · 13/01/2019 14:09

In McDonald's Blush stir fry for dinner so should be ok calories wise. We've been outside shivering for three hours!

Happierwithouthim · 13/01/2019 14:21

No but it's so low cal the all bran with roasted almond milk costs me 82 cals for 8g fibre

Must check out how many cals shivering burns seeing as there's a few of us doing it Grin

I ran 4.5 miles with my friend really enjoyable home to lunch followed by housework Grin

We're not going to have dinner. Didn't realise how late we ate lunch. Will have some soup and yoghurt later to up my protein and veg intake for the day! Will be well below target but only if I eat back my exercise and just over if I don't. Pretty pleased with that.

lifelongfrugaleer · 13/01/2019 15:58

Stamping your feet to keep warm must count.
Not our turn this week as footy was cancelled. Went for a windy beach walk. Not as many steps as I would like but certainly blew the cob webs away.

WreckTangled · 13/01/2019 17:21

Yoga done! I enjoyed today and dd said my downward dog looked good. I'll take it even though she's probs just being kind Grin

Happierwithouthim · 13/01/2019 18:09

My roast dinner sent me over my calories by 91 but it was so so worth it & in all honesty what's left on my plate probably is over that anyhow.

Excellent work guys

Loooong walk today,much needed.
Breakfast was porridge and yoghurt
Lunch Fish and salad ,a few chips
Dinner Prawn curry and rice ,will have some pineapple and berries .

Awkward day at work tomorrow ,might have lots of time for lunch or none at all Confused
Packing a filled seedy roll ,banana and fruit box (from home) plus my flask so I can eat on the hoof.

Unescorted · 13/01/2019 19:32

I had Christmas dinner. I daren't stand on scales, look in mirrors or try to fit into structured clothes.

I was going to wimp out of cycling tomorrow but have decided to send dh to Argos to get me a Chromebook instead. This tablet is rubbish and I have no where to store my records, witterings, routine, or recipes. I may even get rid of my note books and bits of paper.

Not2bObvious · 13/01/2019 20:05

Survived my night out with no hangover or subsequent crazy eating, although I did go over my cals a bit. Never mind, scales down and back to much better behaviour tomorrow. I’m doing my yoga tomorrow night so that’ll work the core a bit. Got 30,000 steps in over the weekend so with luck that’ll help break even on cals in/cals out.

northender · 13/01/2019 22:20

Too many calories and too little movement today. Enough said.

ChristmasSeacow · 14/01/2019 00:45

Wolf you’re still a good bit lower than I started in September. I was horrified when I stood on the scales ‘officially’ at SW (And not first thing in the morning /naked). But you can do it. We are at a fairly similar point now so let’s spur each other on! Think how much better we could feel by summer? Even a stone or two off would feel brilliant, we don’t have to think about getting to 9st (or whatever skinny people weigh. Never been one Grin)

Stuck to SW plan yesterday (Sunday- it’s now Monday!) even when the rest of the family were eating real roasties and gravy. I made separate roasties for myself. How I didn’t sink my face into the DCs cauliflower cheese I’ll never know. Haven’t left the house again, so just 6500 steps. Not sure how it gets that high tbh - though I spent most of the day on my feet in the kitchen.

So - banana and fibre bar for breakfast, the last of the endless minestrone soup for lunch, chicken roast dinner this evening. Snacks were fruit and blob of cheddar. And 3 chocolates for a treat. I really hope i get a good result on the scales this week as I am properly trying hard!

Working pretty late now though, which plays havoc with my body temperature /appetite.

Not2bObvious · 14/01/2019 08:09

Monday morning weigh in shows the typical extra pounds from the salty food over the weekend. Should be back to Saturdays low of 162’ish by Wednesday. I’m proper wrecked this morning. Had intentions of getting up and getting on the treadmill for 30-40 mins walk but wasn’t to be. Food all planned except dinner, still pondering what to have 🤔

Wolfcub · 14/01/2019 08:33

Pain au chocolate for breakfast
Chicken, chickpea and spinach curry for tea
No idea about lunch. Maybe soup

Happierwithouthim · 14/01/2019 09:59

Just discovered Pinch of Nom Website perfect for us watching our calories and those following slimming world or weight watchers. Bonus you can put in how many portions you want and it'll adjust the recipe accordingly.

There's a slow cooker section and an instant pot one too Grin
