Hi everyone!

I’m starting a VLCD (Slim and Save) on 1st Jan and wondering is anyone starting too? Or Cambridge, Exabte etc and maybe we could keep each other motivated?

First weigh in 8lb down and 10cm off my waist 🎉

BishopBrennansArse · 17/01/2019 07:38

Hello Norfolk and Peach 👋

Kittensgalore · 17/01/2019 08:54

Yay well done Bishop that is amazing!!! So pleased for you.

I am putting on weight! Second time I've weighed to find I'm heavier. I'm doing either 2 or 3 packs plus some low cal protein (if I do 2 packs) never been above 800 cals, mostly 600-700 so should definitely not be gaining!!

Thank fuck for the ribbon tip (day I think that was you) I did that this morning and about 10 cm seems to have come off my waist so will stick with it despite scales going up and not down.

I'm the same makingmiracles, am on a pill I take back to back so haven't had a period in ages, started a few days ago so guess some fat cells must be doing something.

So pissed off. Going to drink more water today, maybe it's that.

Hello to all the newcomers, good to see you.

Eliza9917 · 17/01/2019 09:48

Are you doing any exercise kittens? That's very odd. You could be building muscle. Or it could be water and you'll get a whoosh soon.

NorfolkEnchance · 17/01/2019 11:05

Well done Bishop!
How much is everyone aiming to lose? I’d like to lose 5 stone, which still leaves my BMI as overweight but at that weight previously (before the children) I was a size 12.

Eliza9917 · 17/01/2019 12:06

5st here too.

Kittensgalore · 17/01/2019 12:08

Thanks Eliza, I'm not doing much exercise because I just feel too cold and low in energy. I am active during the day at work and have kids so am always running around after them. Have been meaning to start swimming/gym regularly but just haven't had the energy. So don't think it can be muscle but Can only think there will be a bigger loss the other way at some point. Will try and get more active and up the water. Fingers x

Eliza9917 I lost well on it last year but am finding it hard to get back into again.

Well done everyone on there losses, I lost 2lbs this week, I'm half on half not so happy with 2. It's stupid though if I could just power through again then the hunger would ease and I think I'd be ok but I just cant get properly back to it.

It interesting about the fat cells and oestrogen, I have a coil so no bleeding at all usually and when I was doing this diet last year I had a couple of bleeds, maybe this is why.

Exante stock does seem to be an issue, things go out of stock often.

Keep with it, this is what I'm like but it seems to have clicked now - although its very early days lol. I'm taking it meal by meal and only having shakes or vile soups once I can stomach them, which I find is actually easier once you get past the first couple of days.

Littlemissdaredevil · 17/01/2019 14:34

Well done everyone Flowers

I’m inching towards 12st and I am wearing a non maternity top today Grin

BishopBrennansArse · 17/01/2019 15:05

I'm not going with weight as much but aiming for dress size 12-14.
Kittens your shape is changing, stay with it!

Kittensgalore · 17/01/2019 16:55

Thanks v much Bishop! I'd be fine if I was staying the same but gaining! But yes I must be changing shape, the ribbon doesn't lie!
I want to get to a size 12 too, so maybe 3-4 stone maybe more if the scales keep going up!

MissElaineNeus · 17/01/2019 17:05

I'm hoping to lose 1.5 stone in 6 weeks. After that will switch to something more real life friendly if I'm not there. I got into a size smaller jeans today :)

Eliza9917 · 17/01/2019 18:08

Well done Elaine :)

BishopBrennansArse · 17/01/2019 18:58

Last time I was a 14-16 I was 4 stone lighter than I am now so I'd guess 5 stone needs to go roughly?

Eliza9917 · 17/01/2019 20:36

What flavour do you all like best hot? I've had chocolate which is lovely, yesterday I had choc orange but that wasn't that nice. I'm thinking of trying others hot but not sure any other than choc will be nice.

BishopBrennansArse · 17/01/2019 22:17

I only have soups hot, not found a soup I don't like yet.

Kittensgalore · 17/01/2019 22:20

If you drink coffee the almond one or vanilla are both lush hot with some coffee. I like the choc orange and choc mint hot too. And I know I'm repeating myself but the caramel latte hot is also scrumptious.

rainbowgrimm · 18/01/2019 07:21

I've broken the 10lb mark! It's also put into the next stone bracket. I'm so pleased, I know it's only taken 18days but it's felt a really long time. The scales seemed to get stuck, then creep back up before coming down. certainly given me the motivation to keep going over the weekend.
I don't know if it was someone on here or I read it elsewhere about fat turning really really wobbly before it goes and you firm up again? My arms have been flopping about for the last 2 days, I kept touching then as I had rolls I'd never noticed before and they were so jiggly. This Morning they're back to normal (I was going to say firm, theyre still a long way from that) but the difference is amazing. I found it really disheartening feeling so flabby so just wanted to share in case it helped someone else.

MissElaineNeus · 18/01/2019 11:24

Well done rainbow! I hope that's true about the arms, mine seem to have got bigger over the last week. Either that or my fat is migrating upwards :(

Eliza9917 · 18/01/2019 11:46

Well done, 10lbs is fantastic!

BishopBrennansArse · 18/01/2019 13:37

Well done on the 10lb!
I know what you mean, my tummy feels really soft and has kgive'in it that it didn't used to have. Very strange.

NorfolkEnchance · 18/01/2019 14:03

Well done rainbow! My stomach is like jelly. I blame the children.
not my inability to stop eating utter shite

BishopBrennansArse · 18/01/2019 15:48

Oh it's always been jelly belly but it's just different - hard to explain

rainbowgrimm · 18/01/2019 17:47

Thank you. The extra flabby feeling is so weird - I'm glad some of you have noticed it to as I thought I was cracking up.
