Fucking Hell I feel disgusting

Fuck I'm so fed up with being fat. I look and feel disgusting. Does anybody else feel this way? It's time for me to take control.

Today I am starting my 'new me' regime. I've literally had enough of looking like this. Nothing fits me. I look a mess, a fat mess. Grin

There are loads of different types of dieting articles and remedies. I personally haven't tried them but I have heard good comments about this particular red tea.

I had a google and came across this article. Probably will give it a shot.

Can I join, please? Smile

I've got 2 stone of baby weight to lose, as I ate like a pig throughout my pregnancy because I could!

Morning everyone.

How's it going?

I didn't have the best day yesterday food wise, I couldn't stop eating but I only ate healthy food so I will live with that.

I'm having a lovely start to my day. Sat outside the doctors waiting for my smear test appointment. Scared. Confused

Silver I hope that you are feeling a little better after your tooth extraction. The thought of having a tooth pulled scares the life out of me. Take care.

Cat welcome. I don't know anyone that didn't Pig out when they were pregnant. I certainly did and gained four stone during each pregnancy . Always left with a couple of stone to lose post birth.

I am being all weird and not being hungry at all, I didn't eat dinner last night as I just wasn't hungry! I've got spinning tonight so will make sure I have some protein and carbs to get through it, rest day tomorrow. I weigh in tomorrow, I was hoping for a 3lb loss, but so far only 1lb down. Feeling a bit gutted, we went for pizza on Sunday but aside from that I have been perfect and been to the gym 5 times. Hoping for a decent loss next week to make up for it. 4lbs to go to be back at a healthy BMI, I want to get to the bottom half of that though. Otherwise I just bounce out and look awful very fast.

Can I join please - I’m the heaviest I’ve been (excluding pregnancy) and I just do not feel comfortable in my own skin Sad - too much Cake & Gin

I’m no good with calorie counting - so am aiming for low carb - and no snacking. Have started gym when I can or YouTube workouts if I can’t leave the house. Hoping for at least a few lbs off before end of term!!

can I join?!

I am not overweight according to bmi, but I have definitely put back on some weight I lost after having ds.

I am so wobbly its gross.

going to try and eat a bit better, have ditched biscuits at work (other than when its someones birthday of course) and am going to make "treat bags" for after my tea, ie a couple of squares of chocolate, and a yoghurt, or something. I eat healthy meals but have 0 self control when it comes to treats after tea.

I have also bought myself a kettle bell and am doing at least a 12 min work out (harder than it sounds when youre massively unfit like me) 5 times a week.

I go on holiday at the end of august so I am hoping to see a change. I will weigh, but more after a visible change in what I look like then being too focused on what the scales say

Just making good choices for a couple of days has left me feeling less depressed about my weight.

Blow drys, make up and nail varnish are all making me feel massively better about myself. I even wore heels today, it's been a long while.

Hi. I'd love to join this. I'm nearing 14st and need to lose 4!!
I'm a lonely/misery eater and unfortunately have no choice but to spend most evenings alone.
I own a treadmill and every now and then have a healthy spurt then give up again. Continuity is a big issue.

Hey everyone! Glad to see some of you are feeling better with a little self care.

I really like the idea of a "treat" bag for after dinner. I am also an after dinner snack enthusiast!

Still going with the shakes.. still forever hungry... ate a bag of Maltesars last night. Oops.

I have started on the meal replacements, hopefully they will kickstart something.

But im so fucking hungry,i know its my body adjusting. And i have knocked the drinking on the head.Cause i usually eat crap while drinking.

My food issues are i dont eat all day but then have a takeaway at night.Im going to have to stop that.
So slow and steady is the way im aiming.

2lbs off this week, 11lbs in three weeks. 25 to go! By the time the kids go back to school I could be at my target...

I've lost 12lbs over the last 4 weeks. Essentially halved my rice intake, bought one of those water bottles with measurements and eat my main meal at lunch. The water has really worked well as an appetite suppressant. Also took all sweet snack things off my shopping list as thought they would prove tempting. Only weighed myself today thinking and hoping it all made a difference and was so pleasantly surprised. Will keep at it as want to lose 1.5stone more. Good luck everyone, great losses around!

I'm 5"6 and 12.8st Frouby. I was 12.12st a week ago, it's easy to lose the first bit then I get complacent. Hence why I'm enormous Sad I'm mum to a 5 year old and was always under 10st max until pregnancy. DH wants to conceive DC2 but I'm huge!

I hate feeling helpless with it because I know it's my own doing... Worst part for me is that DH seems to think he's not fat when it's his lifestyle choices that have led us both to this point! We're equally obese but he can't see it and thinks I'm the one with the problem! He's a head chef and therefore thinks he's a diet guru.... Diiiick!*

(*Sorry. Not constructive yet oddly therapeutic..!)

I wish everyone success - Weight issues are so demoralizing Thanks

Just popping in to give moral support and a 2/3 of the way success story. I am not fishing for compliments - I want to help you guys to do similar and encourage.

I started on January 8th at 15st 4lb which was ridiculous; my BMI was 33-something and I was just fed up. Blood pressure was far too high too and I have fh of heart, thyroid, cancer, diabetes, stroke, arthritis... so it was now or never before I started getting them too.

I signed up for My Fitness Pal and have been religiously logging everything - and I mean everything. Sort of drifted into lower carb because it was great big bowls of pasta and noodles that were my weakness, and my Mum was type 2 diabetic.

I go to the gym twice a week. In January I could just about walk for an hour at low speed.

Today I was 11st 4lb. 4 stone off and I can run for 30 mins (slowly)
without stopping. I own a Fitbit and running shoes. And Lycra leggings. (This latter bit is hilarious. Me. Lycra. Does.Not.Compute.) Grin

Still have two stone to go, but I just wanted to say IT IS POSSIBLE and YOU CAN DO IT. Oh and I'm over 50. If you have a bad day, make tomorrow a good one.
