I'm 12k step goal, but only changed it from 10k yday. I only work 2 nights a week so have to really make an effort if I want to get steps up. and I'm lazy

I'm almost at 18k steps today as we went for a long walk and I've had a shake and a salad so far with minimal stealings of dds leftovers so I'm feeling pretty pleased with myself, just hope I don't undo it tonight when the kids are in bed..

How is everyone doing?

Do you all have SF for breakfast?
I find that I can't function without a bowl of cereal each morning (Muesli, 0% fat & lots of blueberries today) even though it's about the same calories as a shake.

Must admit I prefer banana to strawberry shake at the mo plus I leave it for half an hour to thicken, which makes me feel like it's more of a treat!

Keep on going today, especially you @llmb - we want positive posts to tell us how amazing you are!!

I have half a meal bar for breakfast.... just to keep my calories down! I meant feeling bloated at the moment ... I haven’t lost any more ... dreading my next weigh in as I feel heavier!

I’m still plodding away at it. Shake for breakfast, meal bar for lunch and no snacks and sticking to that fine (with the odd bit of juice if I have a hypo). I’m ten days in and the last couple of days I have loosened up on the dinner front a bit and had bigger portions so I need to reign that in again.
Went on the scales this morning and am up to 3kg loss over the ten days which I’m happy with, although think as expected the loss rate is now dropping a bit.

It's now peeing it down and the Fitbit is charging so won't be doing many steps today!

I've also had a cornetto for breakfast

I will have a salad for dinner to make up for naughty morning!

It’s also peeing down here but I’m charged... so no excuse for me. Have done 6000 steps so far not bad. Shame the scales don’t agree with me!

Grin it's bad isn't it, dd is 18months and still hasn't got the concept of sleep, it's SO hard to be restrained when you are shattered!

I don't really like the texture, llmb so I have my banana as a mid morning snack. It helps keep my blood sugar more stable too.

Home from work... really want a cup of tea and some cake... I don’t have any thankfully. Doesn’t stop me wanting it. I’m finding the evenings the hardest. I just want to eat in the evenings even after dinner. Not hungry, just seems to be my way to replax. A bad habit I need to break!

I had a wierd dinner, one fried egg (no fat) sautéed mushrooms, quorn bacon and then carrots, cucumber and cherry tomoatoes

I was only joking! Grin dinner for me was a ham salad and new potatoes. I've bought a couple of weight watcher ready meals to bung in the freezer so if I don't have anything in I have back up.

Jumped on the scales this morning, 1/2 a lb down since Monday Grin maybe I’m just going to be a slow burner! To be fair I don’t have too much to lose as I’m not strictly overweight... that’s my defenense!

It's still the right direction that's the main reason thing.

There was a saying on tv last week about weight loss.."if you have 7 roses and one dies you don't throw the rest away do you" that really stuck with me and think it will help next time I'm planning on writing off the rest of the week before starting again
