5.5 stone is amazing. Well done. Am nervous to try any other savoury things- have the curry and some soups? Any good?
At least the shakes are just like nesquik!

angelnikita007 · 12/09/2018 21:24

Thanks! I started my weight loss journey in January this year and it's been tough going at times but I've persevered!
I had the Indian curry for lunch today and it ws really nice. I added 300ml of boiling water then microwaved if for 2 minute intervals until the consistency was like a thick soup. I enjoyed it.
I'm only doing the diet for 2 weeks but I could definitely do it longer as I'm never hungry and don't feel tired or ill like many other people have.
The lemon cheesecake shake is delicious. I had that one for dinner.
I have some soups to try. I will try one tomorrow and let you know. Fingers crossed they are better than the shepherd's pie and turkey dinner! 🤢

Elizabethtailor · 12/09/2018 23:09

Better put my turkey dinner in the bin then. Don’t think i’ll Risk it. 🤮🤮🤮🤮

angelnikita007 · 13/09/2018 09:18

Haha yeah it was the consistency of thick porridge but had a meaty taste with a chalkiness. So not good! Maybe I didn't cook it right, however meat flavour porridge is never going to be a winner!

Elizabethtailor · 13/09/2018 15:01

Berry yoghurt muesli also grim. Tried it for lunch and v v sweet and gluey. This could be a great diet- just make everything so foul it can’t be eaten!
I have only lost 2kg in what will be a week tomorrow- thought it was going to be so much more. But disappointing

angelnikita007 · 13/09/2018 15:24

I had the honeycomb shake for breakfast which was really nice and the Thai chicken soup for lunch which ws surprising good! Nice and thick and with a flavour of coconut milk and spices. I'm glad I've got another one in my box.
I weighed myself today and I'm 6 pounds down since I started on Monday!
Still not hungry at all and drinking 3-4 litres of water per day.
I didn't order any of the granola I'm pleased to say!
I'm having a raspberry and white chocolate cookie for dinner.

Raech1 · 14/09/2018 19:34

Got home from work to my 2nd delivery of EXANTE with some new flavours instead of just 3 cold shakes each day. Had the currru it was awsome ..... tasted like a thick curry soup .loved it ! Warm porridge for breakfast can't wait 😊

Elizabethtailor · 15/09/2018 07:21

Ooh wow. Am def going to try my curry then. Did you add any additional spices etc?

angelnikita007 · 15/09/2018 07:51

I had another try with the turkey dinner pack. This time I added 200ml of boiling water, gave it a good stir, covered it and left it to soak for 5 minutes. Then microwaved it for 1 minute 30 seconds, added a bit more hot water, stirred it and microwaved it again for 1 minute 30 seconds. It came out like a thick soup and was actually edible. No chalkiness this time and did not resemble meat porridge! I might revisit the shepherd's pie as this one was ok made up the way I did.
The raspberry and white chocolate cookie wasn't very pleasant so I microwaved it for 20 seconds and it was slightly better. Glad I only have one more left!
Day 6 and I'm still feeling alright and keeping to plan.
Good luck everyone!

RaisinSmuggler · 15/09/2018 18:57

How's everyone getting on? I'm definitely only a lover of the fruity shakes. The rest of it I find dire. But my evening meals keep me going!

Raech1 · 16/09/2018 10:55

Hi , no I was really good . I thought I may have to add some spices to purk it up but it's spicy enough for me 😊enjoy x

angelnikita007 · 16/09/2018 11:56

Day 7!
Still going. Weigh in tomorrow 🤞
Hope it's good news!

GingerOClock · 17/09/2018 12:29

Could I join in? I started a thread yesterday not realising there is already a thread on Exante!

I started on Saturday so am on day 3 now. I'm starving Blush

I am at 13 stone and my BMI is 31. I've never done a shake diet and have always been very against them, however, I have tried everything else to no avail - and here I am!

FluffyPinkCloud · 17/09/2018 13:18

I’ve just started Exante today after a few false starts.I was 196lbs to start, I’ve managed to lose 13lbs over the past few weeks doing the odd shake day here and there so am determined to crack it this time. I want to go right up to christmas, see where I am and hopefully get to target soon into the new year.

angelnikita007 · 17/09/2018 15:47

First weigh day!
9 pounds off!
So happy 😊
Come on the next 3 weeks. I was going to do 2 weeks but I've decided to go for 4.
One week down and feeling very positive!

GingerOClock · 17/09/2018 15:59

That's incredible angelnikita007!

GingerOClock · 17/09/2018 16:50

I am really struggling with the hunger.

First day wasn't so bad - I started half way through as I had to wait for my delivery. So I had a banana for breakfast and then an exante soup for lunch, a shake for tea.

Second Day I decided to switch to the 'man plan' so I had the lemon pancakes for breakfast, thai soup for lunch, double choc bar for a snack and then had a 200kcal dinner of a small pork chop, cabbage and mushrooms slathered in wholegrain mustard.

Today I had a shake for breakfast, the porridge for lunch and I've just tucked into my dinner of a tin of tuna, soft boiled egg, spinach, cucumber and tomatoes. I will have an apple crumble pack later on.

Writing it done it seems like loads, but I'm famished!

RaisinSmuggler · 17/09/2018 18:06

It gets better. Just stick with it. I'm starting week 4 tomorrow and I can honestly I'm never hungry. I have to remind and force my self to have a shake and a meal. It gets better once you settle into ketosis.

GingerOClock · 17/09/2018 18:20

That's good to know - thank you!

I have also been having one coke zero a day - I read somewhere that it's allowed, does that sound right?

RaisinSmuggler · 17/09/2018 23:03

I think so. I read on exante website a while ago that citric acid can stall weight loss for some people. That's why a lot of people opt for dr pepper zero

Elizabethtailor · 18/09/2018 15:42

I have done 12 days now and lost 9lbs. Am doing shake for breakfast and lunch and a very light supper.

Feel really determined this time as am bored of feeling fat and uncomfortable all the time and trying to dress to hide myself rather than buy clothes I love.

How is everyone else getting on?

I do feel like I have permanent bad breath however!!

GingerOClock · 18/09/2018 20:39

I weighed myself this morning - I know I shouldn't after only 3 days but I can't help myself! I'm 2lbs down Grin and my keto sticks arrived today and I'm in ketosis! I've felt really good today, my energy levels are really picking up.

Today I had: Strawberry shake for breakfast, chicken and leek soup for lunch (I added a ton of fresh parsley, salt and pepper which made it bearable!). Then for dinner I had 100g extra lean mince fried with courgette and mushrooms, lots of seasoning, herbs and a little tomato puree and Worcester sauce, followed by an almond vanilla shake. I've binned my daily coke zero as it probably wasn't doing me any favours.

MinniesAndMickeysNeedCounting · 18/09/2018 21:34

angelnikita007 well done.

Elizabethtailor i remember the bad breath, it lasted ages for me.

Chattycatty · 19/09/2018 08:23

Hi can I join you I’ve just had my first shake lots to lose but I’ve a party mid November and I’m hoping for a good loss by then.

Elizabethtailor · 19/09/2018 13:07

Does ketosis stop as soon as you eat? How does it work?

Am finding daily weigh ins are keeping me going!!

However finding difficult today- have been salivating over my daughters peppa pig pasta shapes at lunch time.... things are bad when craving a carbohydrate filled pig.

How is everyone getting on?

Do people have a target in mind or a special event they are working towards?
