Morning ladies Smile
I so feel your pain, I got back from hols where I just ate without worry put on about 5lb over the week which I kinda expected. Got back on TS on the 2nd jan lost it and a couple more lb and on Saturday last week hit the biggest wall!! And knocked myself straight out of keto 🙄😞
So took advantage of it Sunday lol
And now I'm back trying to get in to keto again ... which seems harder the third time round 🤞🏼
I'm on hols in April and I'd like to get down another 10lb -14lb and then I'll be right in the centre of my ideal weight but I know I'm in for a rough ride as apparently it's really hard when you're on the last bit of weight.
Ladies you have all done so well you are all remarkable!! 😘 we are only human after all please don't give yourselves a hard time for wanting a break now and again .. think of all you have achieved to date and how much better you feel from a few months ago... ladies 'WE'VE GOT THIS!!' 😉😘
Have a great day and a confidence hug to you all 😘😘

Hi all- sloping back in after having a month off (started sliding with my Christmas do and then went bonkers for a month!!)

Weighed in at 12st 12 at 5'3" ugh. Three stone to lose this year. Doing 800 cals with extra for exercise when needed.

Onwards!

MinniesAndMickeysNeedCounting · 16/01/2019 11:30

Lost 2 lbs this week, feels about right considering I'm not fully on it, not back into ketosis (damn chocolate coins) tbh if I lose 2lbs a week going forward I'll be really happy with that. Got 10 more pounds till new goal and I'd like to get there by end of February

bubblyone · 16/01/2019 13:50

Welcome back Determined and Peachy!

5lbs on a week away is a win, in my opinion...considering mostly food and water.
I seem to get into ketosis, but only light changes on stix, which may be partly due to lots of water and dilution effect. At least the diet works regardless, but ketosis is nice for blunting appetite a bit. I don't have a huge amount to go either so getting ready for it to be slow.

Your plan is similar to mine, Peachy! Think it's much more manageable than TS. Even psychologically, I don't feel like I'm on a special plan if I get to have normal food...and I get to eat more than 3 times a day.

Well done, Minnies!! That's brilliant! Would also be v happy with 2lbs a week.

Peachypips · 16/01/2019 21:37

Hi bubbly! Let's hope we can stick it out on 800+.

Day three here- always the worst for me. Nearly over!

MinniesAndMickeysNeedCounting · 17/01/2019 12:44

Peachypips how are you finding get back to it?
I'm still struggling ☹

bubblyone · 18/01/2019 10:38

It's hard, isn't it? I think I'm just getting HUNGRY more often now. And just wanting to eat things. Not even junk - other protein bars!

I'm scheduling a break of 10 days in 2 weeks. Not going wild, but upping calories. Some people believe it helps with cravings and resets hormones/metabolism etc. In a way impatience makes me want to just go go go and lose more more more....but I also don't really feel like doing what I did every other time where I was all or nothing and completely cracked!

About 800ish at the moment, even though there's the voice that still wants to be less. Trying to remind myself that too low when I'm even doing light exercise would only be setting myself up for failure and making it harder really. A bit of patience is required! Annoying when some things fit, but others that I like are not within my grasp yet. Grrr. Need to be more patient.

Trying to do bits of Beck Diet Solution workbook and downloading/order some other books about mindset and maintenance too. The thought of regaining yet again is just gutting.

Bubblyone it's like reading my own thoughts when I read that. I'm really struggling at the moment too,I seemed to have hit a plateau and my weight won't drop 🤷‍♀️ I think I struggle most at the weekends because I eat food.. not carbs but protein and cheese and I shamefully have wine.
I targeted to get down from 12.2 to 11.8 this month but I keep bouncing around 11.10/11
I want to get down to 10.10 by my holiday in April but the cravings get harder.
During the week is easier because I'm in a routine I've been sticking to the 600 ts but I was thinking I would raise to 800 but worried if I get too far out of keto I won't be able to handle the hunger.
I've been using the Exante snacks the crisps and peanut caramels and they help with the cravings.
I stopped running about 6 months ago and I just don't seem to be able to start back up.
It's great that you're managing to exercise 😊

bubblyone · 28/01/2019 17:25

Tell me about it, Determined! It's always harder once the sheen has worn off, I think. Not losing as quickly and you start to just want to eat. My weight was bouncing around last week, even though my worst day was 900 cals. Random jump Sunday morning which must have been fluid, because down again today.

Keep exercise very light - I really do believe that it messes up your metabolism to be cutting calories this low and doing proper exercise too. They did a study on the Biggest Loser contestants and they seemed to have some damage from that combination!

The food can be tough because you just want VARIETY. It's nice to have solids though. I'm hoping to use packs with extra stuff for maintenance. Hopefully.

Looking forward to the break. The fact that we struggle once we can have normal food means that I really need to learn what maintenance is and not go on a binge every time I'm "off".

Maybe you're due a whoosh?? I had a horrible sleep last night, peed and bowels weren't happy - and was 2.5lbs lighter this morning. I feel like you're going to get there.

bubblyone · 29/01/2019 15:30

Slept badly the past 2 nights and am exhausted today. So hungry!! It will be a struggle to stay under 900 calories. Find I'm very up and down in terms of hunger in general - not hungry one day, mad for food the next. Don't think I'm in ketosis though. This is more tiredness though, I feel. Hanging.

Determined77 · 29/01/2019 21:53

Oh hon try and fill up on protein and water, slices of ham, chicken breasts, prawns anything that can help without too much detriment.
I feel your pain I'm struggling and feel bloated and wondering why I'm bothering but we're so close to our targets we'd be devastated if we finished now.
I've decided to give Feb one massive hit and hope I can get fully in to it. After that I'm going to ease back in to healthy meals to see if I can maintain 😊
Why don't you try 5:2

bubblyone · 30/01/2019 10:48

Thanks, @Determined. Tried to keep it low carb etc. Weight a bit lower this morning but that's entirely random! Better so far because I got more restful sleep. Sleep quality makes a massive massive difference to my mood and hunger.

How much longer for you? What are you doing at the moment?

Might do 5:2 for maintenance. Plan at the moment is still maintenance week/10 days from next Monday to kind of reset everything, then see what happens with another few weeks in February. Hopefully then done. After which comes the bigger challenge of deciding on a bit more versus maintaining for the first time ever!

feellikezerobucks · 23/05/2019 12:21

How you all getting on with Exante.

I'm starting again today, 5 weeks until my hols and would love to lose 1.5 stones 😬😬😬😬

EachandEveryone · 09/06/2019 09:38

feellikezerobucks · 16/09/2019 09:42

whatthewhatthewhat · 16/09/2019 15:09

Hmmm...

Three packs and a 200 kcal 'meal'?

Thought it was JUST three packs?

feellikezerobucks · 16/09/2019 15:30

@whatthewhatthewhat it is just 3 packs per day for weeks 1 and 2 then for week 3 you add 200 cals per day then back to 3 packs for week 4 and repeat until skinny 🤗

whatthewhatthewhat · 16/09/2019 15:50

Haha! If only it was that easy!! Thanks!

whatthewhatthewhat · 16/09/2019 19:04

@feellikezerobucks should we start a new thread?

Sparrowlegs248 · 16/09/2019 19:59

I'm not doing exante but something similar, happy to join a new thread.

feellikezerobucks · 16/09/2019 21:30

@whatthewhatthewhat happy to join a new thread if you want to create...although I must confess my day 1 will now start tomorrow as I fell off the wagon this evening 🐷🐽🙈

whatthewhatthewhat · 16/09/2019 21:46

@feellikezerobucks then we can both start tomorrow! (Feel free to start a VCLD thread - let's be inclusive!) 🤣
