Well done plum, would love to be back in the 11’s but I should be very close by Christmas. bubbly how your clothes are fitting is a great guide if you’re avoiding the scales.

Glad to hear I’m not alone in my sudden obsession with food programmes!

Weigh in day for me, 5lbs down, really surprised to lose more in week 3 than week 2 must have stepped on the scales a dozen times to check. Delighted. I’ve got a couple of meals out coming up, this evening and Monday, plan to eat as low carb as possible.

Hope everyone’s having a good Friday.

MinniesAndMickeysNeedCounting · 30/11/2018 13:45

Gteat loss Thisgirlcancancan well done👍

SmallDalek · 30/11/2018 14:00

Well done guys. I’ve been back on track since my very bad day and definitely feel lighter when I’m walking (hard to describe but just feel like I’m carryIng less about and jeans more roomy. I’ve been having two bars and an evening meal of protein and veg or salad. Hope the weekend doesn’t prove too tricky for everyone.

bubblyone · 30/11/2018 17:21

Fab news, thisgirl! That's amazing. Good luck with the meals. I'm glad I went to the one on Wednesday - reminded me that I can actually be on a diet and go out, and that going out doesn't mean I have to eat ALL the food.

So good to hear, Small!

Thisgirlcancancan · 01/12/2018 19:30

Meal out last night went well. I had a Chicken Salad and a mint tea. I agree bubbly I think breaking our fasts for the odd meal out is good, it means that we don’t become recluses but it’s also a great test of our willpower, which will hold us in good stead at Christmas when I for one will be relaxing the rules a little.

Well done small for getting back on track.

Hope everyone’s having a a good Saturday.

Slytherdor · 01/12/2018 21:17

Hi all, can I jump on this thread? I’ve ordered Exante as I am getting married next May and desperate to lose 2-3 stone by then. I’ve managed to lose 22 pounds but stalled and I am worried I won’t make it with any other diet now. I’m also a little bit food obsessed Blush and trying to use this as a way to put it out of my head.

That being said- it’s day 2 and I am chomping at the bit to open a can of Pringles. Any tips on getting through the first week???

Determined77 · 01/12/2018 21:41

Welcome Skythe well done for loosing 22lb so far!
Thiscan I really hope I have your willpower next week 🤞🏼
I've managed to stick perfectly to it until today because my meals still haven't turned up and I ordered them last Friday! 😞
So I ran out but I had turkey breast steaks in the freezer and kale in the fridge so I had that for dinner and will have to have it tomorrow and prey it won't effect anything 🤞🏼
I've managed two trips to costa this week and avoided my normal favourite caramel late for a large black Americano and it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.
Even dishing up pizza to my DD and her friend didn't faze me.
I totally get the buzz of the cooking programmes though ... hooked! Lol

Well done to all your fantastic loses my weigh day is Monday morning so I'm really hoping I've done well, I'm also glad it's Monday as my Christmas dinner Is a Tuesday so it'll give me a whole week to get over it!
Although I have a cunning plan, one of my colleagues has promised to assist with the potatoes and pudding so I can just have smoked salmon and Duck and I believe they have no carbs.
Also if I don't have breakfast or dinner can I gave my carbs a lunch or does it not work like that? I was hoping to have a couple of glasses of wine 🍷

Determined77 · 01/12/2018 22:04

Sorry Slythe I misspelt 😳
My only advice is drink loads of water i've carried a bottle of water with me everywhere and any time I got hungry I drank water.
I also went to bed early so I wouldn't get hungry in the evenings.
After about day 3-4 it just passes without you even realising.
Putting photos on the fridge and cupboard of something that reminds you of why you're doing it may help

Twinplusone · 02/12/2018 19:10

Ordered my first batch of products today with the special offer of 42 meals for £38!

Have bought a rival VCLD off the shelf until they all arrive

Going to eat “proper” food for evening meal as DD has a possible eating disorder so I need to eat around her.

KrakenAwakes · 02/12/2018 22:57

Can I join you all please? Friday WI I think for me - I have just ordered the 42meals for £38 which Twinplusone mentioned above. and they should be here Friday. I have (at least) four stone to lose, I am uncomfortable and really quite unhappy but I finish at the end of term for a new post in January and I intend to put the four weeks in between to good use focusing on kick starting a diet.

Twinplusone · 03/12/2018 08:04

KrakenAwakes looks like we are starting at the same time. Good luck.

Determined77 · 03/12/2018 23:15

Well I managed 10lb loss in my first week I couldn't believe it!! 😁
I have my Christmas lunch tomorrow and I've got it worked out that if I drink a gin and soda and a glass of red with dinner that's only 4g of carbs and if I don't have my potatoes or pudding I should stay in Ketosis 🤞🏼
I'm still extremely annoyed as I still haven't received my food parcel and I ordered the Friday before last 😞 yodel have sent it the wrong side of the country! Great!
So I've had to buy as much as I can from Superdrug and also add a few lighterlifes and try and stick to eating turkey or salmon and green veg in the evenings
Not very happy as I've spent over £100 on Exante
Welcome all, I have just finished my first week so I'm pretty new too 😊

Thisgirlcancancan · 04/12/2018 17:25

Well done Determined that’s a fantastic loss. How annoying about the delivery, can exante offer you any compensation?
Welcome to those that have joined over the weekend, good luck, perseverance really does pay off.
Still plodding along here, had dinner at a friends yesterday evening, she made roast chicken. I just had chicken and veg no potatoes, gravy or anything like that. No more meals now until Saturday evening and Sunday daytime.
Only 3 weeks until Christmas Day!!!
Hope everyone else is doing ok.

MinniesAndMickeysNeedCounting · 04/12/2018 21:24

Determined77 great loss.

Your delivery being delayed must be extremely frustrating, you've done so well especially with your delivery problems, shows how determined you are.

MinniesAndMickeysNeedCounting · 05/12/2018 15:46

Lost half a lb, that's a good result because I've not had the best week. Been struggling and off plan.

Thisgirlcancancan · 05/12/2018 16:32

Well done Minnie half a pound is half a pound. Are you finding it difficult getting back on to normal food after all these months? The most difficult thing for me is maintenance, I find it so hard to eat “normally”, I think fasting of some sort, be it 5:2 or 16:8 plus getting back in to running is going to be how I tackle it this time. I’m still about 1.5/2 stone away from my goal so a way to go yet but good to have some sort of plan in place.

How’s everyone else getting on?

MinniesAndMickeysNeedCounting · 05/12/2018 20:46

Thisgirlcancancan I don't think so because I've been making my own meal in the evening since the start, think I've just lost focus. I am nervous about going onto normal food full time after I re-lose whatever I gain over Christmas.

Determined77 · 05/12/2018 22:11

Hi all
Well done Minnie.
I managed my Christmas lunch and stayed away from bread potatoes and gave my chocolate pudding away.
The only problem is because I didn't have any carbs in my body I got a tad drunk and had the worst hangover in the world today.
So I won't be doing that again!
But I managed to stay in Ketosis 😅
My delivery was supposed to come today but they didn't deliver again! I've never been so mad. I'm trying so hard to stick to low carbs but I had bacon and egg this morning and lamb and broccoli for dinner no carbs but higher calories more in the region of 1000calories so that won't help my weight loss 😐
It come tomorrow when no ones in to sign for it and they'll take it back to the depot knowing my luck! I think I'll cry if that happens!
Thsgirl they did say they would put £5 on my account but they haven't done it yet, although I just want my food

bubblyone · 06/12/2018 15:39

That's so frustrating, Determined! I was glad to see that the Superdrugs near me have a selection of the products, but it shouldn't have to come to that. They should be delivering to you now and not leaving you in this position.
I'd actually read that about alcohol - won't necessarily knock you out of ketosis but you get drunk much faster! You're doing really well with choices though. I have some very shaky moments and I'm only 2 weeks in, but trying to remind myself that it's not long till Christmas and I promised myself I'd give it a good go until then. It helps a bit that it's finite. That didn't help me REALLY wanting a sandwich yesterday though.

Congrats, Minnies. A loss is a loss! And wouldn't be surprising if you were getting diet fatigue now. Plus it's a tough time of year.

MinniesAndMickeysNeedCounting · 06/12/2018 17:39

Determined77 you must be getting so angry now. Exante should offer you more than £5 credit, you'll probably be so pissed off you won't want to order again to use your credit.

bubblyone I think you're right, probably getting fed up.

Went to an event today expecting not to be able to eat but the food was very good and plenty suitable for reduced carb diet.

Determined77 · 06/12/2018 18:19

It came it came!!! 😁😁😁 finally!
I now have a wonderful choice of good I'm so happy as I had no dinner ready.
Tried the shepherds pie and really liked it, I've got the fajitas and pizza for the weekend and not so naughty puddings too. I'm so glad I don't need to go through a weekend without the plan 😅
Bubbly I so know what you mean about Christmas I'm counting down the days too and I think it seems to be much easier knowing there's a goal at the end and I'm actually looking forward to going back on it in the New Year.
Minnie I had another whinge today so I think they are going to compensate but I'm just so glad to have it now.. I don't have to worry about choices other than which sachet.
We can do this ladies only a few more weeks ! 😁

Thisgirlcancancan · 07/12/2018 07:40

That’s great news Determined so pleased it finally arrived.

Minnie not surprised you’re getting bored after all these months. I’m bored beyond belief and I’m 4 weeks in. The diet is great, it really works, results are quick which helps you keep going but it’s not a “normal” way of eating and I miss real food. I’ve got a dinner out tomorrow evening and lunch the following day going to enjoy both meals and not worry too much about what I eat. Will be back on track on Monday, not throwing away the last 4 weeks for nothing.
Weighed myself this morning and another 2lbs off, was hoping for 3 but happy enough, that’s a total of 19lbs in 4 weeks.

Hope everyone’s doing ok and managing to keep motivation up.

EachandEveryone · 09/12/2018 09:44

Hi, I’m new here. Just ordered with the special offer. I had a hysterectomy this year and started HRT and I’ve piked it on. So much so that I have a large hernia. I’m determined to lose at least two stone. I’m off next week so I hope it comes by then as I’m eager to get started.

HettyB · 09/12/2018 11:50

I can’t remember if I’ve posted here before or just lurked, but I’m back on Exante today after a short break.
Only 10lb to go but I’d forgotten how hungry you are for the first few days - I want to chew my own arm off!

KrakenAwakes · 09/12/2018 22:58

Starting tomorrow so opened my box of exante items this evening. Transpires two of the sachets split in transit and absolutely everything is covered in sweet sticky caramel smelling powder. It's horrible. Tried to wipe the packets but just makes them stickier.

WI in the morning - let battle of the bulge begin.
