Is anyone planning on starting exante? I have 4.5 stone to loose and thougjr exante may help me loose a little. If you have tried exante and succeeddd feel free to share any tips you have.

Welcome to all those who’ve joined over the weekend. Each it’s very straight forward mix the sachet with water, some savoury meals need heating in the microwave. There are thing’s like pancakes and pizzas that need cooking but I’ve not tried either so not entirely sure.

I had a weekend off plan and really enjoyed it apart from feeling very full and uncomfortable by yesterday evening. Back on plan today.

How’s everyone else doing?

EachandEveryone I am sticking religiously to 2 litres of water, a black coffee when i get up and a black coffee mid morning.

I have been working out how I will do this with family get togethers lined up - won't be easy!

I’m going to do it for the two weeks I’m off the week after. Then I’m going to see how I feel. I bloody love cooking so it’s going to be a big shock living off powdered food.

How's everyone doing? I'm still bumbling along, still not weighing, some days easy and some days hard. Can't say I have a total absence of hunger and sometimes just want a bloody sandwich, but overall feel pretty good considering the calories. Have moments of being disheartened and impatient when I have to remind myself that you don't get to undo 18 months of weight gain in 18 days! Not close to getting back into my goal clothes yet and weight loss has followed its usual pattern of middle and face first, then boobs, with everything else to come. HOWEVER, it's 3 weeks tomorrow and tried on this dress that I was going to return before I started because it was gaping by miles at the chest (total flasher) and was far too tight. Thought I'd keep it and that maybe it would fit after Christmas... Yay!

About to cook the kids a full roast and I will have a small portion of chicken with stir fried veg (under the 200 calories).

I did the 42 meals for £38 option and confused about how many days that should last for? I was planning for 3 weeks - 2 sachets a day with one 'real' meal of 200 calories?

42 meals = 2 weeks on total solution (3 meals a day). If you're only having 2 a day, that's 21 days/3 weeks.
I had 3 packs with extra food the first few days until I hit ketosis and the hunger eased a bit. Plus lots of water, tea, coffee and taking up dresses/busy work.

Great news lost 1.5lb this week which sees me at goal 😁

I was going to try and lose a bit more to give me a buffer over Christmas but now I need to keep going anyway because I'm between sizes. Last time I was this weight I would have been a comfortable size 14, the excess skin is unfortunately having a negative effect and bumping me up a bit in clothing size. Never mind, got to keep positive. 5st 3.5lb total now, I'm happy with that.

Did your package arrive EachandEveryone?
Noticed you mentioned about pop further up, you can have fizzy drink but limited yo 250mls per day and not containing citric acid, check labels because most do have it in. Although having said that it was so long ago that I read about it I cant actually remember why we cant have citric acid anymore. Might re-Google it tomorrow if I remember. Good luck

My god i completely forgot and im sat here nursing a large black coffee! Im a nurse and literally need my coffee or diet coke. I am down to one a day. I have that awful lull at 4pm every day.

Day three and im fine. Not hungry at all but i will say it all tastes quite samey doesnt it? Does the porridge come out like soup to anyone else?

Hey all 😁 everyone still seems to be doing so well 👌🏼 I managed another 3lb last weigh in and my next weigh in is tomorrow so I've already nearly lost a stone!!
I've managed two Christmas dinners and stayed on Ketosis.
Only 4 more days and I'm off on Holiday with my beautiful DD.
Then back on the diet in the New Year.
I'm praying I don't put too much back on over Christmas but I'm not going stop enjoying myself! 😁

Thanks so much, Determined! It's so tempting to just start gobbling mince pies already, but changes keep me going. Just about. Not dreading trying to find something to wear as much.
You've done SO WELL!! Am amazed.

Each - mostly eat the sweet packets and have normal food for savoury, so have a good variety in those. My measuring for the water is non-existent, so my porridges are varying degrees of soupy. Might try less water or some glucomannan to thicken if I start to want more solids. You're lucky to not be hungry. Rarely in that mode, but not half as hungry as I'd expect to be on the calories.
Black coffee is a lifesaver. Believe the Coke thing is because citric acid inhibits ketosis. They recommend one without - e.g. store brand or Dr Pepper Zero.

Ive bought a small blender and the shakes come up lovely. I hated the lemon meringue one but the rest are lovely. Ive cancelled a day out tomorrow because i dont trust myself 😔

OMG so happy with my weigh in this morning I've now done a total of 17lb!! 2lb more and I'll be at my holiday target 😁😁
I feel so much better I can get in all my old clothes it's like having a new wardrobe again! Lol
Bubbly Thank you .. I've been trying to be so disciplined but it's been hard this time of year I really know what you mean.
I've started adding chicken in the evenings to the fajitas and the pizza and it feels like eating normal food I'm actually enjoying it 😳

Delighted for you Determined!!! It must be so so good to get back into all the old clothes. I'm not there yet, but my wardrobe is definitely increasing - getting out of the fatter stuff and able to wear some intermediate things again which is a huge relief. I think I need to start dumping some of the baggiest stuff. I really don't want to be in it.

Chicken makes a huge difference!! I haven't been TS, closer to 800 cal plan, because somehow even a bit of normal food like chicken and Babybels or egg whites makes it feel like it's more sustainable and less of a crash diet. Also hoping it makes it easier to transition out of it.

Im just not hungry at all. I need to uptake my water though its difficult if im at home all day. Ive been putting abit of Robinsons into it.

I'm hungry! Think I'll break for Christmas and then go flexi for a couple days, then back on it until end of Jan when I'll take a week or two at maintenance.

They say not to use Robinsons etc because of ketosis but if you're not hungry I suppose it doesn't matter. You get used to the water though.

Sounds like everyone’s doing really well.

Sorry I’ve been a bit quiet this past week. I only had 2 days on plan last week and this week will probably be the similar hoping for 3 days. I’m probably up a pound maybe 2. Usually I’d be annoyed at myself for falling off the wagon a bit that I’d struggle to get back on it so I’m actually really pleased with the fact that I’m still managing to get back on plan after several off and hoping that means I’ll actually reach my goal and stay at it this time.

This group has been such a great help. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas, eat and enjoy but let’s all get back on it once the festivities are over. Let’s all reach our goals, we deserve it after all the hard work we’ve been putting in.

Think you're doing well in the circumstances, This. I've struggled with the fuck its this week and this morning is the first where I haven't been hungry and dying for breakfast. Was eating extras the last few days. It's very hard this week with all the temptations around, and you've been on it for a while. I'm kept going because I have only been on since Nov 21st and know I have planned break next week and am planning a break at the end of Jan. Feel like we need them! You can count this as your refeeding/metabolism boost.

Hi everyone. I've lost 1lb this week.

Fell off the wagon last night, dd1 was having nachos with cheese and thought in my stupid wisdom that I'd just have a side plate serving, well that turned into 2 plates and half a bag of maoam's, went to bed feeling sick and with a splitting headache, still have the headache.

I forgot that we're meant to increase carb intake slowly. I well and truly messed that up.
(Not that I thought a ton of maoam's was the right way GrinBlushConfused)

I must have kicked myself out of ketosis now so not going to try and get back in before Christmas, instead I'm going to increase my carbs to a moderate level so the rich desserts etc dont induce this awful headache during Christmas.
