Anyone doing one at the moment?

I've started exante this morning. Last year I lost 3 stone with Cambridge but Exante is loads cheaper. No meeting though so I need moral support if any one can give it!

Starting weight 249.2lb. Awful I know so no need to tell me.

Sorry I went to bed in the end.

New day, new start. I'll see how today goes and try to forget the horror of yesterday. It's one day... hopefully!

Good luck everyone, have a VLC weekend!!

I weighed this morning and I'm 15st 13lb so I'm finally under 16st! I've lost 5pb since talking to you lot. You're clearly a good influence on me!

Snap8TheCat · 03/06/2017 11:21

That's excellent!! Well done and keep going Smile

I CANNOT get below 19 stone. It's like there a mafunction on my scales. So I got really pissed off and had a packet of crisps. That is really not going to help. The first two stones melted away. Still not going to give in though.

CBG17 · 04/06/2017 18:35

Coped well this weekend, I actually gained a little (half a pound) on the scales yesterday morning but then I was down a pound this morning so overall I'm half a pound lighter than Friday.

Makes it 11.5lb in two weeks. Pretty happy with that.

I'm planning an off plan dinner tomorrow night of chilli con carne. It's made based on slimming world rules so if I have that without any extra carbs and just one other product for the day I think I'll be right.

How is everyone else?

LongLiveTheChief · 05/06/2017 10:12

Hey, can I join? I'm on Exante and on day 7 today. I'm having 3 products a day but allowing myself salads if and when I need to. I ate with my mum and nan this weekend and don't want them to know I'm on this diet so had a salad with them, was lovely.

Ive just got back from the school run and had 1litre of water so far and a raspberry and white chocolate exante bar.

My official weigh day is tomorrow but I'm at 10lb loss so far Smile

How's everyone else feeling today? X

CBG17 · 05/06/2017 20:19

Welcome, Chief. Great efforts so far!

CBG17 · 06/06/2017 06:41

15 days in and this morning I have lost 1 stone. Woot woot!

CBG17 · 07/06/2017 19:34

Official weigh in tomorrow morning. Wish me luck!

Pinkiepromisex · 07/06/2017 20:06

Hi everybody, thanks CBG for the link.
I have started cambridge step 2 ( for medical reasons) today so at 800 cals will probably be scoffing a bit more than some of you! I have about 20 pounds to lose and a holiday at the end of July. Have tdied sw and ww before but have zero will power so need a change and a really strict regime to keep me going. I will read back a bit to see where you are all up to.

Snap8TheCat · 07/06/2017 20:55

Welcome pinkie lovely to see you here and good luck in your goal before holiday.

I also have shit willpower. I ended up going to the local shop, buying a heap of crap food and binging. I'm so ashamed and disappointed in myself. Can't even do this Sad

Snap, that's fine - put it behind you and back to it tomorrow.

Tonight I swapped one of my Cambridge items for a bowl of steamed veggies with a bit of sauce - same or fewer calories but I really felt like some proper food.

I have three weeks left until my holiday and would LOVE to lose another stone before then. Not sure it's possible as losses are slowing down to around 3lb/week average but we'll see!

Pinkiepromisex · 07/06/2017 21:05

So easy done Snap.
If I have 1 thing not on plan I know my day will be doomed. I am a true saboteur and can justify turning 1 biscuit into 2 packets. Trying to concentrate on 1 day at a time so I don't panic at the thought of the weeks ahead. I've had cambtidge oriental soup (ok) and a peanut crunch bar (gorgeous) and then chicken and veg for my 200 calorie meal. Didn't get the extra cambridge product in today but have everything now so porridge go look forward to tomorrow.

HerRoyalFattyness · 07/06/2017 22:46

I've not had a good week. Lots of little things stressing me out at the minute and I just have way too much to concentrate on. My brain feels fried.

Pinkiepromisex · 08/06/2017 07:29

Have a good day everyone! Day 2 here I come.
Haven't told anyone I'm doing this yet don't want to have to defend my choice but it won't be long before people notice what I'm eating!

CBG17 · 08/06/2017 07:35

Ooh, I can really see a difference this morning. It's working!

Pinkiepromisex · 08/06/2017 08:09

That's great CB! That will keep you going.

CBG17 · 08/06/2017 09:59

14.12, down from 16 even in three weeks (a few days under that time actually on plan). 4lb since last Thurs.

Pretty pleased is an understatement!

Pinkiepromisex · 08/06/2017 15:40

That's amazing CB. You are right to be pleased I would be delighted!

Pinkiepromisex · 08/06/2017 15:43

I've only had a cambtidge yogurt bar so far today. Going to try the porridge in a minute. Hope it's good - I bought 7 packets! Maple and pecan and apple and cinnamon. Hope everybody has had a good day.

Pinkiepromisex · 08/06/2017 22:12

Porridge is beyond disgusting. Going to trade the rest in for bars.

artycakemaker · 09/06/2017 13:14

Hi- may I join and ask for advice etc? I am 12 stone 8, and really need to lose weight fast before my hyper critical mother comes to stay in 2.5 weeks. I have got redusure tablets, and am aiming for 600 cals or less a day. I have a multi vitamin etc.

Can I ask what plans you are on, and how they work? I'd be hugely interested!

CBG17 · 09/06/2017 18:18

Pinkie, what's so bad about it? Texture, taste? I hadn't read good things so didn't buy any.

CBG17 · 09/06/2017 18:20

Artycakemaker, welcome.

If you read through the thread you'll see who's doing which plan. It really depends on how you want to access it, I guess. Some products are available at the supermarket, some are consultant only and some are online.

Cambridge is minimum 600-650 calories (three products) per day, although depending on your height or any health conditions they may want you on four products.

Pinkiepromisex · 09/06/2017 18:50

Hi Arty, I am on the Cambridge bacause I need the discipline of the weigh in. You can get the same or similar products for cheaper but you have to do your own weighing in.

CB the smell and taste of the porridge was yuk. Got loads of bars now so have to incease my water intake. Feel a bit headachy today but still focused. I have to buy 21 products weekly from my consultant for the free weigh in so I can't use other products. Shame really because I have had the Asda raspberry bars before and they are fab. Hope everybody is having a good Friday - I am missing the wine!
