Anyone doing one at the moment?

I've started exante this morning. Last year I lost 3 stone with Cambridge but Exante is loads cheaper. No meeting though so I need moral support if any one can give it!

Starting weight 249.2lb. Awful I know so no need to tell me.

17:6.5 Not overly concerned though. Just did 40 lengths non stop in the swimming pool so that will surely burn some fat away!
Have a positive day everyone!

LG93 · 25/09/2017 11:26

I spoke too soon. I feel sick, I'm freezing cold and I'm 90% certain I'm dying Sad not sure I can stick with this!!

Buxtonstill · 25/09/2017 14:54

LG, it may be a regular cold/virus that you have :-( Not sure the diet will make you feel that bad. Hope you feel better soon.

Buxtonstill · 26/09/2017 07:47

17:5.8 Hope everybody is doing well and keeping positive. Swam another half mile so probably building loads of muscle!

Buxtonstill · 27/09/2017 10:40

17:3.4 Hope everybody has a motivated positive day!

Buxtonstill · 28/09/2017 10:49

17:2.8 The ‘16’s are getting nearer and nearer, and when I hit them it will be a total of 4 stones lost!
Hope everybody is ok, and if anyone still visits this thread I hope you are doing ok, and have a positive day!

Buxtonstill · 01/10/2017 17:24

17:3. I’d like to think it is because I have taken up swimming again and have swum a few miles this week! Bloody stubborn fat cells!

Buxtonstill · 03/10/2017 08:24

17:3 hoping this plateau is down to my increased exercise. If anyone is reading still, have a positive day!

Christmastree43 · 03/10/2017 08:30

Keep going/ posting Buxton!!

AliBingo · 03/10/2017 10:02

Buxton maybe you will have a whoosh soon (do you subscribe to the whoosh effect? seems to apply for me)

Buxtonstill · 04/10/2017 11:37

17:3.8 Hoping for a whoosh soon! all I'm having each day is a couple of shakes, with a salad for tea with chicken/tuna and swimming for 30-40 minutes each day at 6am. Have increased my walking, doing an extra 20 mins at lunch time, getting off a bus stop earlier too ;-) Still not giving up. it's like my body knows exactly how much it weighs and does not want to push down into the 16's!

Buxtonstill · 05/10/2017 12:35

17:3 AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.........

AliBingo · 05/10/2017 14:36

:(

IndianaMoleWoman · 05/10/2017 22:02

All you can do is keep going. To quote Dory, “Just keep swimming, just keep swimming.” You are doing phenomenally well. Dig in, push on...when you stand on those scales and see the next drop you’ll feel amazing.

Buxtonstill · 06/10/2017 09:15

17:0.8 !!!! Not as much as i’d Like in 2 weeks, but by god I’ll Take it! Thanks for your encouraging words 😀Just want to see that number 16 on the scale!

DameDaffodil · 06/10/2017 10:20

Hi, can I join in please? I've been toying with starting a VLCD all week and think I'm going to go for it. I tried Exante a couple of years ago but gave up after about 4 days. Whilst googling VLCDs this week I've come across a plan called New You. Has anybody tried this one? I haven't done any price comparisons with Exante yet but it looks very similar.

Buxtonstill · 06/10/2017 11:18

Please join! The more the merrier! I find this thread so supportive. Come and post, good or bad day. It helps me to log my weight here, as I can scroll back and see a record. Good luck, you have time to lose a couple of stone by Christmas if you want! Remember to drink loads of water, make it your new habit!

LG93 · 06/10/2017 17:20

Good luck daffodil! I've just started week 3 of exante. Lost a total of 11lbs so far which I'm quite pleased with. Managed to resist food while sat in Nando's watching friends eat, all sorts of junk at work, takeaways, DH's dinner etc. Very pleased with myself!

MaidenMotherCrone · 06/10/2017 17:31

@DameDaffodil I've done NewYou. I don't know how it compares to other brands pricewise but it was ok. I lost 11/2 stones in 7 weeks. The Facebook support group was really good. I would say to buy the bundles to get the best prices. I still have a whole pile of products( probably £200 +) but I won't do it or any other diet like it ever again.
It's not food, it's basically chemicals in my view. It's very easy to be carried away by the whole thing but it's not food.

Buxtonstill · 08/10/2017 08:41

17:1 Thanks for the snarky comments. Up till now this had been a really supportive thread. ‘It’s very easy to be carried away’. Whatever. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, and it may ‘just chemicals In your view’ but it’s not very nice to piss on other people’s sucesses.

Buxtonstill · 08/10/2017 08:42

Just seen your post, LG! You have some pretty strong will . Keep going. Have a positive day everybody.

LG93 · 08/10/2017 10:48

Thanks Buxton. I think it's more stubbornness than will power as I usually have no will power! I feel like if I give up people will tell me it's because it's not a sustainable diet, and every day that passes is another day I feel I've wasted if I give up!

Buxtonstill · 08/10/2017 12:38

LG, There will be always people to criticise and be negative, especially when you are making a success of it. Ignore them. You are doing great!

MaidenMotherCrone · 09/10/2017 13:31

@Buxtonstill Read my comment again. I was replying to @DameDaffodil , no mention of you. I didn't/haven't read the thread so no idea who you are/what you are on about or what the odd numbers are at the beginning of your posts.

I wasn't pissing on your successes as I have no idea what they are. The comments I made were not snarky but the truth and you've taken them personally when in reality I had no idea you even existed HTH.

Penny4UrThoughts · 10/10/2017 14:13

All food is basically chemicals. Water is basically chemicals. Everything is basically chemicals.

I've just been notified that my package of basically chemicals has arrived. Not sure that it really has (door is locked and no-one in..) but hopefully I'll be starting exante soon!
