Anyone doing one at the moment?

I've started exante this morning. Last year I lost 3 stone with Cambridge but Exante is loads cheaper. No meeting though so I need moral support if any one can give it!

Starting weight 249.2lb. Awful I know so no need to tell me.

That is why I don't bother weighing myself because it can alter so quickly depending on hormones etc that I get disheartened.

Another good day today although am feeling a little more tired than usual. Am feeling the need to take up more exercise though -so that has got to be a good thing! Going to start with weights and swimming and build up to cardio in the next week. DH has said he will join me so I will have a buddy.

Hope everyone else is having a positive day 🙂

Squashit · 13/09/2017 16:52

Ps The bars are having evil effects on me but definitely keeping the hunger at bay.

Squashit · 14/09/2017 19:36

Day 3 and still on target. Had some ham today. Off to do my walking now.

Hope everyone is doing well x

17:3.8 ! So near to the 16's. It seems madness that I was 21 stones in April! I am going on holiday on 3 Nov and would love to be 16 or under by then. Luckily my holiday is a high activity one, we go every year and swim 4-5 miles every day. I have bought bathroom scales to take with me as we are going for 5 weeks. I normally lose a couple of pounds as we swim, but I go overboard on the food and drink. But this time I am going to watch I am eating and make good choices so could possibly lose a lot more!

Enough about me! Glad to see you're still in the zone Squashit, Keep pushing and you will really see results by Christmas!

Have a great day everybody, and stay positive!

Squashit · 15/09/2017 20:12

You are doing so well Buxton 👍🏻

Still cracking on here. Bit of an energy slump today but have increased my liquids a little more which has helped.

Going out for another walk to push my steps over my daily target.

Buxtonstill · 15/09/2017 21:27

Oh dear. Fell off the wagon big style. Friends birthday, and just two glasses of wine led to food. And it wasn't a salad either. Oh well, tomorrow is a new day.

ChazsBrilliantAttitude · 17/09/2017 09:45

Hello everyone, I'm still on the plan. I didn't have time to weigh in last Sunday morning as the DC had an early start for sports training.

I have lost another 0.8kg. Not a big loss over two weeks but heading in the right direction.

Buxtonstill · 18/09/2017 08:57

17:6. I am my own worst enemy. Literally went round the kitchen hoovering up everything I shouldn't. It's that time in my rota pattern at work when I have 5 days off. I always succumb to temptation. I am not back at work until Wednesday but I am going to force myself to go for a long walk. Hope you all have a good day, and I will try and stay on the straight and narrow and can write a mire positive post tomorrow!

Squashit · 18/09/2017 12:49

Still on target although I am pumping out the most disgusting gas.

Room clearingly so..... 😱😷🤢

On the plus side my clothes are getting looser. 🙂

Hope everyone has a good day.

Ps has everyone else noticed Exante bars taste salty?

ChazsBrilliantAttitude · 18/09/2017 12:53

Buxton
As you know this is a time you struggle are there any strategies you can put in place to help? Can you set out all your food for the day in a box and then minimise time in the kitchen?

user1471504210 · 18/09/2017 20:45

I fell off this weekend! Celebrating events Friday and Saturday led to a return to old habits Sunday...

Back on it today though and dont think ive put on too much...felt the effects of a proper food hangover all Sunday. Not nice at all!

Good to see you Squashit! And keep going Buxton - I've had to put all my 'meals' out on show to get me back in the zone. Would that help at all?

user1471504210 · 18/09/2017 20:45

Cross post with Chaz!! Great minds...!

Buxtonstill · 19/09/2017 08:22

Thank you everybody for your support. I lasted until dinner time yesterday and went mental. It's my last day off before 8 days on so hopefully I can keep it under control today. Sometimes in my rota pattern I have 2 days off, and I'm fine for those, it's just that the 5 days off unhinged me. I have been reading the Exante fb success stories this morning and that has been inspiring me. Putting stuff in a box is a good idea, I'm going to try that on my next 5 days off.
It's 6 weeks on Friday before I go on holiday. I could lose a stone by then if I make every effort.

Have a good day everybody!

Hi everyone!

Please can I join?! Hoping to shift some weight to help with my fertility as I'm not ovulating currently due to pcos. Got a meeting with a friend who is a Cambridge consultant tomorrow evening, although it's quite expensive so wondering whether I could substitute some products for exante?!

Need to lose just over 4 stone Confused

Squashit · 19/09/2017 15:20

I would personally just do Exante. So much cheaper and a bit more flexible if sole solution is too much.

It is worth looking at the clearance section for real bargains. Sometimes there is nothing on there but every now and then it is a winner. You have to google it separately as there isn't a link to it on the normal website that I can find.

There are always offers on though and worth waiting it out. Go through quidco to get a bit of cash back as Exante is on there. I generally pay no more than £60 for a months worth of products.

Buxtonstill · 20/09/2017 15:04

Despite my resolve yesterday I had a dreadful day, and one thing led to another. However I'm back at work today and have stepped straight back into diet frame of mind. not hungry, and have resisted all temptation and feel pleased with myself. You are right, I will need to devise a strategy for my next 5 day break from my rota.

I also didn't weigh myself this morning; I am going to wait a few days to do that.

Today is a new day, and I hope you all have a great, positive one!

OliviaD68 · 20/09/2017 15:12

Have you thought about the Keto Diet? reading amazing things about it. easy, safe etc

Buxtonstill · 21/09/2017 08:19

I made it through the day! And I'm right back on track again. My next 5 days off I have decided I will go swimming as it would be hard to pick in a pool!
I hope everybody is feeling positive. 100 days to Christmas, so lots of time to make a difference by then.

Buxtonstill · 22/09/2017 17:33

Slightly shakey day, but was waiting for DH to come out of day surgery at St Thomas' hospital in London. They have a Marks and Spencer cafe AND foodhall in the hospital. Not the greatest thing when you have 3 hours to kill! Bought some cheese sticks and went for a walk along the Thames. This morning was 17:6.5, so slowly undoing last weekend! Hope everyone is having a good day.

LG93 · 22/09/2017 18:57

Have just had my first exante delivery. Looking forward to starting tomorrow!

Buxtonstill · 22/09/2017 22:18

Good luck LG! There's just under a hundred days to Christmas - time to make a big difference!

Buxtonstill · 23/09/2017 12:38

17:6.2 Hope you all have a good day today. I'm still sticking to the diet, lets see if I can get under 17 in the next few weeks. going to try my damndest!

LG93 · 24/09/2017 15:01

Day 2 and I'm doing ok! The soup I had last night was vile and went in the bin but other than that I feel ok! Does that mean it's not working?!?

Buxtonstill · 24/09/2017 17:27

You're doing fine! Not everybody feels dreadful on the diet. I had a bit of carb flu (runny nose, slight sore throat) but only for a day or two. Keep with it, in a few days you will start to feel healthier!

LG93 · 24/09/2017 19:49

Thanks Buxton- that's good to know! I think I read so much about people who struggled early on that I just assumed it was a certainty. I guess those who weren't suffering were off having a nice time Grin
