Anyone doing one at the moment?

I've started exante this morning. Last year I lost 3 stone with Cambridge but Exante is loads cheaper. No meeting though so I need moral support if any one can give it!

Starting weight 249.2lb. Awful I know so no need to tell me.

17:13.. oops. But right back on track today. A lot of that will probably be water retention. I haven't had any alcohol for a few months, and it always makes me swell up a little., plus the volume of food and accompanying water is still being processed! Have a good day everybody, and remember, if you did indulge, tomorrow is another day - just jump back on the waggon. And drink loads of water. That's another thing I haven't done over the last couple of days.

Hi everyone

So I'm back after two days off plan. 3 pounds put on though so hopefully I will have that gone in a day or two. Isn't it amazing how quickly it can come back on. I didn't overeat as such but did consume vats of red wine!

I bought my foodpacks again this morning so it's all systems go here now until the wedding on Friday. I know the next few days will be tough but I'm determind....for now at least!

Have a great day all.....

Just a quick check in. A small loss this week about 1/2lb. I am battling a cold so I am not surprised my body is hanging on to reserves.

Wibby · 29/08/2017 11:08

Hi everyone....

So half a pound down this morning. Thought it would be more as I only had 3 out of my 4 packs yesterday cause I had really bad sinus pain and was pretty miserable.

178.4 today..........was down as far as 175.6 on Saturday. It’s so maddening isn’t it!

I’m feeling hungry but trying to ignore it! I’m also feeling a bit nauseous but I don’t know if that’s from my sinus or something else.

I hope everyone is doing well.

17 13.5. Can't wait to go back to work tommorow and start going in the right direction again. Had a couple of stressful situations with our builders this morning and so bloody stupidly took it out on my diet....so that is 4 days in a row I have been off plan. But I vowed I would come back on this thread and report; good or bad. Well done to all those of you who have lost! Are you ok Pinkie, lowcarbheaven and readytomakechanges? Hope you all have a good day/evening and I hope to be a loser again in the next couple of days!

Readytomakechanges · 29/08/2017 18:46

Help!

DH and I are on the 17th day of Exante total solution. We haven't cheated so far. I've lost 13lbs so far and DH 16lbs.

Today, I feel really shitty. Bad day with the kids. Not feeling well. I'm finding it really hard not to go "sod it" and buy a chicken and chips takeaway.

Please talk me out of it.

Pinkiepromisex · 29/08/2017 20:00

Hope I'm not too late!! You will feel amazing tomorrow if you manage to stay on plan. You could always have some grilled chicken and salad to break the monotony.

Buxtonstill · 29/08/2017 20:01

Bloody hell Ready! That's almost a stone. Don't know if it is too late to talk you out of it! If you do, you do, but remember tomorrow is a new day. Don't beat yourself up about it. Don't say sod it and abandon the diet, and eat other stuff too. It will probably cause you to hold a few pounds in water, but it will soon go. We are only human after all. I can't wait to get back to work tomorrow as temptation is a lot less. I had 17:7 in mine sights - I want it back again.

Pinkiepromisex · 29/08/2017 20:02

Tomorrow is another day Buxton! Love that you post even if you are having a bad day- we all have them. 4 days off fixable by the end of the week.

user1471504210 · 29/08/2017 20:37

Hi everyone, can I join? I'm doing things a bit strangely though. I lost 2 1/2 stone last spring in Cambridge and after my holiday really really struggled. Mostly kept it off until this summer when I really went off piste...

Now, I haven't actually weighed myself and I'm going by how my clothes fit. Plus, I'm so scared of the disappointment if I've ended up putting everything and more back on. I have 5 weeks of product left over (many many cheats) which I'm going to use up as I can't waste it, so here I am with you for the next 5 weeks! After that I think I will look at an alternative way of keeping an eye on calories - it's been really useful reading about people doing this so thank you!

Also, I think I might weigh myself next week....

user1471504210 · 29/08/2017 20:38

Also, I'm on day 4 of 100% on plan! Onwards and upwards!

Pinkiepromisex · 29/08/2017 20:47

Welcome user147. If I were you I would weigh now so you can see the difference! I quite like the Cambridge bars but Asda are cheaper so I am using them - they are lovely! I tried shakes and porridge but really struggled with those. School hols have been a bit of a nightmare so I am really looking forward to getting back to normal so I will be here for the next 5 weeks Smile

Buxtonstill · 29/08/2017 21:55

Hi user 1471! Welcome aboard. Everyone welcome, and not only for the good days. Two things to remember : drink loads of water, and tomorrow is another day! If we are determined, we can have some really good results by Christmas! Yippee!

user1471504210 · 29/08/2017 21:56

Thank you!! I know I know - I have been having second thoughts about that too...I may well do it tomorrow morning when I'm lightest so at least it's a little better!

I've really gone for it this summer. Started to slip before but in the past few weeks I have gone straight back to really unhealthy eating habits. At least I've managed to stop that in its tracks and feeling a lot less bloated.

user1471504210 · 29/08/2017 21:57

Hello Buxton! Wise words indeed. That's good to remember if I do slip, I can always start again!

user1471504210 · 29/08/2017 21:58

Also pinkie I had no idea about the Asda bars. That's great to hear!

Readytomakechanges · 30/08/2017 07:16

I didn't do it.

DH made me a shake and I went to bed when the DCs did.

Feeling relieved today that I didn't cave, but still in a period of finding the diet hard going.

Readytomakechanges · 30/08/2017 07:16

Also, thanks for the messages.

Pinkiepromisex · 30/08/2017 07:29

Well done for resisting temptation ready - today is a new day!

Buxtonstill · 30/08/2017 08:13

That is brilliant Ready! I was 17:13.5 again this morning but really hAve my mojo back today! I thought I had nailed coping with my 5 days off that my rota pattern gives me every few weeks. Had rid the house of peanuts etc! I do think it's true what Morgan Spurlock said in that film where he ate macdonalds for a month. The minute you eat crap, processed food or sugar you do crave more.Blush I was drinking prosecco and champagne which didn't help, it's full of sugar, but I didn't think to take a bottle of vodka with me! I just took a couple of bottles of fizz, so my own fault there. On my way to work, and I have my shakes with me. Have a fab day everyone, and remember - lots of water to drink.

Wibby · 30/08/2017 13:57

Hi everyone

Lots of new posts here! Welcome everyone.

I weighed in at 176.8 this morning. So 1.4 to go to get to my lightest weight last Friday.

It just shows that two days of eating (not so good stuff) is probably going to take four days to get rid of.

Unfortunately I got my period last night after only a 20 day cycle (think I must be starting menopause due to erratic periods???) so maybe if it was a normal week I would have shifted the pounds more easily.

People are commenting that I’ve lost weight which is a good thing.

It’s so hard though isn’t it. I’m in work and one of my colleagues is eating a salad here beside me and I’m literally salivating at the thoughts of some lettuce!!!

Dieting is hard no matter what plan I follow..........this plan is particularly extreme but the results are better so if I’m going to be miserable, I might as well be really miserable and at least see good losses on the scales.

That’s my thought for the day!

Well done everyone. Keep going..........I know the temptation is there to open the fridge and dive in.........DON’T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wib xx

Did it. Weighed myself this morning. 12st 3. Not the worst I've been but certainly far too heavy for my frame. Battling on for another 100% day today but my mouth is extremely dry and tastes horrible. Feeling a bit rubbish as well but hoping that goes by tomorrow.

Wibby · 30/08/2017 19:01

Keep going user147. As the days go by it definitely gets easier. If you drink gallons of water the taste will go. I get it from time to time and it reminds me to drink more. Have a good evening everyone. STEP away from the kitchen!

Buxtonstill · 31/08/2017 08:03

17:12 , so on the way down again! Just 5 Lbs before I hit 17 1/2. Hopefully do that before the end of next week. Well done user 147 for having the balls to get on the scales. You could be back down in the 11's before you know it! Hope you all have a good day, and just think how fab you will look and feel at Christmas when you fit into a whole new dress size! (And remember the water! Grin)

Buxtonstill · 01/09/2017 08:20

17:10 this morning. Got a little too close to the 18's again for my liking. Upwards and onwards, I'm firmly back in the straight and narrow and determined to push toward 17:7. Hope everybody is doing ok, come and post, good or bad day, no one will judge. We have all been there a million times!
