Aw thanks you lovely lot. You were my motivation to get into this and keep going even with a hectic few weeks in work and a broken iPad. Dieting is bloody hard going and there have been times where I've disappeared to bed to read a book rather than be near the kitchen and risk snacking. Found it got a lot easier 3rd week in.
Soup is a good filler - I do my own old WW recipe of butternut squash cubed, red pepper diced, bung it in a saucepan with a pint of vegetable stock. Cook until squash tender & then blend briefly if you like it chunky or a bit longer if you like it smooth. I then put dried crushed chillies in to spice it up. Used to be zero points on the old system.
Wafer thin chicken a good snack at 10cals a slice.
I MFP everything and have got a bit obsessed with it. Didn't realise how much I snacked before.
I want to lose another 2 stone but know it'll be slower now. I hide my weight well but I do want to get back to pre-wedding & DC me. Aiming for half a stone a month now until the summer & will be happy with that. I've noticed an immediate change in my face and legs and tummy so that's motivated me lots to keep at it.
Keep at it, you're all doing brilliantly and don't realise how much this thread is and has motivating others.
