Congratulations hairspray!!!

I am +1 today but putting it down to daily fluctuation. Hope to see it gone tomorrow but at least it is a reminder to stay on track today!

KikisDeliveryService · 26/01/2017 08:50

Claire You will lose that weight! It's not an impossible dream as long as you keep motivated. Just look at Hairspray! Epic January loss! You must be dancing your ass off right now in celebration!

00100001 · 26/01/2017 08:58

I think I will start 'tracking' again in feb as January has gone awry.

HairsprayBabe · 26/01/2017 09:01

I really am thrilled Kiki i feel like I have been chasing 11 something for forever!

TVHubbyClaire · 26/01/2017 09:12

hairspray thats fantastic , well done you!!

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 26/01/2017 09:56

That is amazing Hairspray! Well done!

Pony that is true, I think I will just weigh again after another couple of "good" days and hopefully I will see a loss then. Or at least not a gain!

ArseyTussle · 26/01/2017 10:00

Bravo Hairspray!

TV, that must have been dispiriting. I must admit, I do feel a sense of trepidation about what will happen when I've lost a couple of stone. At the moment I'm doing OK, slow weight loss, but I don't feel too deprived. I suspect when I'm down to the salad and miso soup time I'll wonder if it's worth it.

I feel a real motivation to get to 7lb by Monday, it's a rest day from running today, but just been for a walk and am planning on being mega golden between now and Monday.

Chardonnay73 · 26/01/2017 10:07

Checking in - sneaky weigh today and am 10.5 Lindas down since NYD! AF has arrived so that may scupper my aim to lose 3.5 by next Fri to get a stone off in Jan... but we will see...
went to the gym last night and in a fit of enthusiasm (and desperation!) have just been now, and can hardly walk. I have definitely overdone it Blush
Hope everyone has golden Thursdays Wink

ArseyTussle · 26/01/2017 10:16

Bloody hell Chard, that's amazing. Shock

Chardonnay73 · 26/01/2017 10:21

Thanks, but I have a lot to lose Blush

ArseyTussle · 26/01/2017 10:27

Me too, 5 stone!

HairsprayBabe · 26/01/2017 10:35

Well done Chard I had 5 st to lose originally, and my losses have slowed a bit but I still seem to be doing ok! My next mini goal is 11.7.

Onwards and downwards losers!

Chardonnay73 · 26/01/2017 10:37

5 stone would get me back to my pre children, wedding day, mythical unicorn weight, last seen in 2002!! 😂
I'm aiming for 3, then see how I feel. I'm of the age now where I have to choose between my figure and my face, and I fear my face would collapse if I lost the fat that's currently holding it together!!

ArseyTussle · 26/01/2017 11:03

Ah yes. 5 stone would get me to the weight I was when I was about 18! I remember getting on the scales just after I graduated and them reading 12.5 stone. I was really upset. If only I had been able to see into the future.

My goals are:
7lb by end of month, obvs
1.5 stone by wedding on 25th March (not mine)
3 stone by wedding on 8th July (not mine either)
5 stone by end of year unless life is truly joyless

ArseyTussle · 26/01/2017 11:08

Anyone else have clothes goals? Mine are to look good in jeans and a top without needing it to be tunic length. I also want to wear skirts in the summer without thigh issues.

If I lose 5 stone I'll be in hot pants and crop tops regardless of the weather, shrieking "EVERYONE! LOOK AT MEEEEEEEE!!!".

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 26/01/2017 11:09

Hairspray, that's brilliant! Well done!

I plucked up the courage to get on the scales again this morning and the whoosh earlier in the week is still there! Sts since then, which is fine. Fast day today and we'll see what happens - I have a pattern of losing during the first fast day of the week and then maintaining on fast day 2. Fingers crossed, though!

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 26/01/2017 11:22

Yes to clothes goals! I bought a pair of Topshop size 10 culottes on Ebay 4 months ago (before I put on a stone) and they did up then, but not in a good way. So I reckon I need to lose about 1.5 stone to get into them comfortably.

I also want to be able to wear jeans without hunting frantically for one of my two long vests or 1 tunic to go with them and getting very grumpy when all 3 items turn out to be in the wash because naturally wearing a long black vest makes the fat lower abdomen disappear like magic .

Twin sister's wedding is May 19th - I have two dresses that I could wear unless I buy something new , a pretty Monsoon blue dress, size 12 (option 1, fits reasonably well just now even if I am a bit...ahem...voluptuous in the chest region for it) or a Coast pink halterneck which is very beautiful but a size 10. I broke the zip the last time I wore it, also to a wedding, luckily at the very end of the night - I dropped into a chair and the whole zip just went pop. Blush Blush I was about 10 stone then (Sep 2015). I'm 11 stone 1.5 now. I think I need to be 9 stone 7 at least to be comfortable in that one.

lastqueenofscotland · 26/01/2017 11:23

So brilliant to see how well everyone is doing!

6 down for me so far this month, it was 7 but think I paid a bit for the weekend blowout. There is still time to get the next 7 down

QuimReaper · 26/01/2017 11:32

WOW Chard and Hairspray, look at you go! I genuinely can't imagine losing an entire stone in a month, that's such an incredible achievement.

Spurious again, the dangers of daily weighing Grin Please don't get downheartened about it, a fast day will have had an impact, there's just no physical way it can not, it just takes a while to settle down.

I sometimes find after a fast day - or more to the point after a bunch of golden activity - I get a disappointing scale result, but then as soon as I eat properly I finally manage a proper poo, and wonder how much of the weigh-in was just sitting in my gut Blush

Arsey I have a wedding on 25/3 too - maybe it's the same one! Shock

Speaking of which, where's LegendOfBeans gone? Her wedding day must be right around the corner?

HairsprayBabe · 26/01/2017 11:37

I have two weddings in march on on the 10th and one on the 18th! Hoping to look fabulous for them!

ArseyTussle · 26/01/2017 11:41

Ooh Quim, is yours a civil partnership?

QuimReaper · 26/01/2017 11:46

Claire is there some reason you think you can't lose a stone? You've already lost 2lbs, if you lose the same again you'll be in the 12 bracket, and then you just whack the Lindas down one by one - you can do it, I promise! You just need to plug, plug, plug away at it; it's boring, but that's what this thread's here for Grin Even at just 1lb a week (which is a pretty standard rate to lose at) you'll be there by Spring, and you're likely to have some weeks where you lose more once you're "in the zone".

Chardonnay73 · 26/01/2017 11:49

Arsey wouldn't it be fabulous if we did lose that 5 stone this year?! Thing is, I wouldn't wear hot pants and crop tops at 10 stone as I thought I was 'fat' 🙄

Quim I'm a big believer in a post poo weigh, in my more obsessive WW days I would take a duloease the night before weigh in Blush
Wonder if they're still in the bathroom cabinet and what the expiry date was in them...,?!!!

Aaaah no, it isn't.

It would have been so funny though, we'd have to devise a secret signal to identify each other and then rush towards each other going "LINDAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
