Dress size is tricky, I am very very curvy small waist big booty and bust so my dress size varies massively from shop to shop and even between garments. I was exclusively wearing stretchy things though! The biggest size I bought was a 22 pair of shorts from peacocks, but generally I was a 16-18. ATM I have some size 10 dresses I can get into but I still find some 14's tight if they are fitted in the wrong places! But generally I would say 12-14 is my current size.

My starting weight was 15st 4lbs Blush

BitOutOfPractice · 31/01/2017 09:46

Hairspray I started at 15 stone 1lb. I haven't ever written that down before. Too ashamed. Blush

I have lost 48 lbs so that's similar too. Though I started in June so it's been slower.

I started as an 18 and I think I'm now a 13. All 14s for great but I'm in some 12s too.

We are diet twins. Grin

BOOP and hairspray, 48 and 50 lb losses - my jaw has hit the floor!! That's amazing - well done both of you!!

ArseyTussle · 31/01/2017 10:20

Blimey, you're both very inspiring! I started on Jan 1st at 15 stone 1lb, so hopefully will be having a similar trajectory into minxdom.

QuimReaper · 31/01/2017 10:46

You GUYS Shock That's such astounding work! Well done! I can't believe how quickly you've both done it too, I'd have expected shifting 50lb to take much more than 6-odd months.

Hairspray incredible stats, and Archie 4kg is more like 9lb, that's a terrific month!

Squiffy you're on fire Star I predict this is the start of The Zone for you!

tea Back on it today, yes? It never happened, and tomorrow is another month.

Kiki that's wonderful news, I'm so, so pleased to hear it.

QuimReaper · 31/01/2017 10:48

Sending you strength vibes Claire - I'd ease into the 16:8 if you're used to breakfast, if you're crawling the walls after 14 maybe be prepared with something healthy but not especially appetising like an apple to tide you over? I find a couple of Babybels really hits the spot Blush

BitOutOfPractice · 31/01/2017 10:52

Yes Kiki that's the best kind of news Flowers

All this talk of breakfasts is very interesting. I have never been a breakfast person all my life. But since losing this weight I very rarely skip it. I do, however, make sure it's quite proteiny (science word). Bacon, eggs, avocado etc. If I eat something carb heavy I am starving hungry by 11am. It seems to set my body to want more.

I'm doing 1200 calories a day and I tend to have 300 for breakfast, 300 for lunch, 400 for dinner and 200 for snacks etc. Roughly. I don't try and do that, it just sort of happens.

You lot are amazing. BOOP and Hairspray you bloody legends that loss is incredible.

Quim you must be the nicest person on mumsnet always so positive.

Arsey, Teaping, Cheddar, Pinkvic, KOKO, Sh0rty, Queen, Squiffy, TV, Ponygirl, Beyond, Chardy and anyone I've forgotten have some Flowers and a Star for a great month. Give yourselves a huge high five/fist bump/round of applause/hug/pat on the back everyone is in a better place today than we were on Jan 1. A fantastic achievement all round.

Archduke · 31/01/2017 11:11

Kiki sorry, I think I amalgamated you with KOKO in my mind. Double Flowers for you.

BitOutOfPractice · 31/01/2017 11:14

Good day so far here, went out for lunch but had a veggie bean burger with salad, no bun. So still well within my calories for today :)

HairsprayBabe · 31/01/2017 15:22

Quimlove sounds a bit rude Wink

BitOutOfPractice · 31/01/2017 15:38

It sounds very rude!

Golden here today so far too. Planning the gym and Hairy Dieter chilli tonight with cauli rice and no booze!

Beyond ❤️ Grin

Golden day so far here too! Avocado and prosciutto, and about to go off for another swim even though I really don't want to. Not decided on what to have for dinner yet, possibly some soup...

teaping · 31/01/2017 15:55

Yes quim, I'm back on it! Salad & chicken breast for lunch, 1.8 litres of water down, and so far on 8.4k steps so should reach at least 11.5 by bedtime.

Am massively chuckling at quimlove!!

Thanks arch for giving us a little pat on the back - sending one your way too! And thanks for my little talking to yesterday - just what I needed. I was only 1/2 a lb up this morning so hopefully I'll manage to knock that off when I weigh tomorrow....fingers and toes crossed!

BeyondCanSeeTheEmperorsBellend · 31/01/2017 16:22

I just had a hot cross bun. Not ideal, but it's still within my calorie limit, so I'm saying it's okay Grin

ponygirlcurtis · 31/01/2017 16:34

Grin at Quimlove! I agree, I don't think I would have been anything like as focused without this thread, you are an amazing lot indeed. I have had a funny couple of weeks IRL and have retreated from all online activity apart from this thread, that's how fab you all are. Smile

Everyone has done so well but I am just on awe of Hairspray and BOOP - hope you are all feeling proud of yourselves, we have done great. Losses big and small are all steps in the right direction.

I am weighing in tomorrow because I have gone back up a bit and want to see if it will come back down.
