Boop I was so excited my fingers were shaking 🙄 😂
As a little treat to myself I've just booked the airport lounge at East Mids prior to our little jaunt Grin All you can eat and drink in 3hours for £18 - bargain!

BitOutOfPractice · 14/01/2017 15:06

That IS a bargain. I don't think there is even is a lounge at my titchy airport!

I'm off to buy new running shoes before my old ones literally drop off my feet. I desperately need them as I can feel my knees after a run now. Then off to the gym later followed by dinner out and the pictures. We have been told we are not allowed back before midnight as my dd is having a party.

I have done 2.5 hours of training today! Mostly throws and being being thrown, plus forms which are patterns of movements including jumps, kicks and punches. Feels good 😊. Now off to meet pals for calorific cocktails - it's all about balance right?!

Archduke · 14/01/2017 21:27

How did everyone's Sat night go? Mine was boring as batshit, to be honest, we got a takeaway (kids and dh had fish n chips, I had salad and chicken Halo) and then watched old episodes of the IT Crowd.

Tonight out to watch Lion at the outdoor cinema which should be better.

Kiki I bet you feel amazing after all that training. Pinkvic 7lbs in a fortnight is astounding. It's amazing isn't it, that we can actually loose all the weight if we just put in the bloody hard yards.

I went in to one of those 3D scanners yesterday with DD, I had to strip off and it zapped me and gave me my stats (so far so dull) but then it showed me this little 3D image of my self. It was hilarious and distressing in equal measures, this tiny fat person was on the screen in front of me, it was so weird. I am losing weight and toning up and do look better than I did but clearly there is some way to go!

ponygirlcurtis · 14/01/2017 22:39

It's DS1's 11th birthday today, we went out for lunch. I had an all-day breakfast thinking that would be a good low-carb choice for me. It was stupendous! But I made the mistake of logging it all on MFP and now I basically can't eat anything else till February. Good job I am still stuffed this evening and not needing dinner. Grin

HairsprayBabe · 14/01/2017 23:27

Ah bollocks had pizza and wine 😞 dont even know how that happened!
Tomorrows weigh in will not be good i can tell 😓

KikisDeliveryService · 14/01/2017 23:36

Such delicious drinkipoos tonight Wine

Back on straight and narrow for rest of Jan, but a good get together with friends is so very good for the soul. Feeling all the joy right now... may not feel quite so awesome tomorrow morning.

KikisDeliveryService · 14/01/2017 23:38

arch The mixture of training then cocktails is basically two thirds of all that I hold dear from life! So happy 😊

BitOutOfPractice · 14/01/2017 23:54

I've been out for dinner and pictures while my dd1 has a party. With alcohol.

I drove home with a sense of dread. What's been broken? Who's been sick?

In fact it was all rather civilised. They had music I'd actually heard of playing and everyone was upright.

Met DD1's boyfriend for the first time. He shook my hand and used the word procrastination in his first sentence to me. I think I like him Grin

boop kids these days are far more sensible than our generation. I blame the parenting...

Why won't my train go? Stuck in a random station 10 mins from home. This is why I rarely go out!!!

Honeyandfizz · 15/01/2017 06:53

Marking my place

teaping · 15/01/2017 10:36

Morning ladies!

So great to see everyone's losses! I'm also glad I wasn't the only one who went slightly off the rails last night - I had quite a few drinks and then dinner out, oooops. However; I seem to have got away with it, yay!!! -1lb this week, one more to go to get to the half stone mark!

HairsprayBabe · 15/01/2017 10:48

12.1 -6 lindas for the month ovbs the wine and pizza diet works for me so might have to look at changing my plan! Grin

Well on my way to 1/2 a stonker for the month now! And almost at 11 something

ArseyTussle · 15/01/2017 10:58

Morning skinny minxes. Another run this morning, trying to make last minute amends with the Goddess of Dieting before I get on the scales tomorrow.
The next change in my 52 small changes is No Biscuits. God knows what I was thinking when I came up with that.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 15/01/2017 13:31

Last night was not good - got DH to make Victoria sponge. Mmm. I stuffed myself. I am too scared to weigh!

lastqueenofscotland · 15/01/2017 14:51

Had a lovely lunch out yesterday but generally been very good despite staying with friends who try to ply me with Coke and lovely snacks at every turn! Weigh tomorrow.
Pray for queen...

Squiffy01 · 15/01/2017 15:14

Glad I'm not the only one that went off track yesterday. Trip to the theatre with two friends then out to an Italian restaurant. Had some garlic bread and lasagne. Was delicious!!! Didn't have any pudding though which I thought was a small miracle.
Have walked to the gym and done my couch To 5k currently on the bike, am imagining my sister shaking her head at me "the seated bike is not a work out get on the proper one" Grin plan to walk home as well.

Starting to regret having my weigh in on a Monday.... Would I be cheating if I chose another day?

Chardonnay73 · 15/01/2017 16:41

Fell off the wagon spectacularly last night 🙄
Dinner with good friend who lost her dad just before Xmas Sad
Chateaubriand with sweet potato fries and bearnaise sauce. And a bottle of red. My god it was good, I enjoyed every mouthful 😬
Back on it today, have just had low point soup and am doing the beef roast that Boop had last week, then nothing else.
I think I needed a blow out, now I am happy to get back into it. Trying to stop weighing every day as well. Onwards and upwards! ( or downwards !)

BitOutOfPractice · 15/01/2017 17:28

I have been golden all weekend but one of the party goers last night left half a bottle of prosecco in the fridge and it is calling my name!

^BOOP! BOOP! COME AND DRINK MY FIZZY BOOZY GOODNESS
^
Can you hear it too?

I'm supposed to be doing dry January Confused

Resist!! You have done so well! But then saying that I'm sure a glass or two won't do any damage... God I'm shit at this motivation thing aren't I?
I'll leave you with what my father would say... 'You do what you think is right ' 😜

lastqueenofscotland · 15/01/2017 17:38

I think a blowout isn't the worst thing in the world. It's my birthday on Friday and I have a bloody boring work thing but they do take us out for lunch and I'm not planning on ordering a salad!

BitOutOfPractice · 15/01/2017 17:51

The BF has just said "you're only cheating yourself". I have threatened to punch him

OP posts:
Chardonnay73 · 15/01/2017 19:05

I'm not surprised! As you can imagine J is being particularly saintly over this whole diet thing.... he has lost a stone in 2 weeks.... I want to punch him too 😂

teaping · 15/01/2017 21:11

My OH always loses loads in a week when he diets practice. It drives me mad. Nothing more irritating than listening him moan because he's 'only lost 3lbs this week' compared to his usual 5+!! Not fair not fair!!!

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 15/01/2017 21:28

DH has lost 5lbs since 4 Jan despite eating like a pig on the 5 days he isn't fasting on. I have lost 3 despite being really damned good in between (apart from yesterday).

Anyone else frantically guzzling water tonight in the hope of cheating the scales tomorrow?
