Happy New Year Slenderistas.

Let's move away from the Christmas bugger and ditch Linda for good.

Wow, well done Pink, 3lb in a week is amazing! Everyone is really bossing it this month! I've never managed several consecutive days of the 30DS, so props on that too. I think I'd really struggle with it on a fast day, I can do something like swimming easily but anything that gets me really out of puff is always a struggle.

Squiffy01 · 09/01/2017 20:41

KOKO I don't generally eat mine back, I like to keep it as a buffer incase I have miscounted calories and also probably more likely to lose if not eaten back.

I'm so hungry, haven't had dinner yet, have just walked an hour and 20 minutes towards home to avoid tube strike traffic, have now given up and on a bus.

BitOutOfPractice · 09/01/2017 21:00

Oh god squiffy the tube strike looks hellish for commuters. Still, it's all steps in the bank.

I also use Fitbit with mfp. I don't eat calories either. I delete them actually off mpf because I get confused with how many calories I have left

I think I should measure myself too.

For those times when the wight isn't coming off as easily, sometimes you lose inches and not lbs - especially if exercise is increase.

Gonna do: boobs, belly, bum!

Boobs - under the boob, like a bra fitting? Or should I do the 'cup' measurement, as it were?
Belly - at the belly button.
Bum - err... round my fat arse "widest" point each time?

Perhaps should share?

lastqueenofscotland · 09/01/2017 22:16

Another good day for me. Will have been doing it a week tomorrow so long forwards to seeing the total result!

Archduke · 09/01/2017 22:46

Hi all

Binery I would do boobs to take in the whole boob - as that's where losses should show most. Waist at waist, arse at widest point so hips/arse combo Grin.

I also recommend taking a photo of yourself at the start. I didn't do it this time and regret it. I can see my stomach is smaller but it would be nice to have photographic evidence of how much I have shrunk.

QuimReaper · 09/01/2017 23:02

Archie I wish I had too, if only for those days where I'm staring hopelessly in the mirror going "I know I'm like 7.5kg lighter but I LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME"...

Binary definitely include the boob and not just the underboob, you'll lose more significantly off the fat deposits than you will around the ribs!

QuimReaper · 09/01/2017 23:02

My boobs have sort of shrivelled in the last few weeks Hmm

00100001 · 10/01/2017 06:45

OK. I'll measure up tonight and get DH to take a photo (won't share that with you though in the name of decency! Grin)

Arch I took a photo last week and this morning and I think it's mainly that j just look a lot less bloated but I can see the difference.

BusterTheBulldog · 10/01/2017 09:22

Everyone is doing so well! Weighed myself post weekend today as had a big dominos and curry blimp. Same weight as weigh in on Friday though-phew!

Had a good day of excerise yesterday and started today with an early attack class-hoping for 2lb loss this week.

BeyondTheStarryNight · 10/01/2017 09:39

Forgot to weigh this morning. Breakfast was muesli, lunch will be houmous and crudités, then parents for dinner again (know what it is today - lamb curry)

BeyondTheStarryNight · 10/01/2017 09:39

Met my step goal yesterday though - even managed my 6 hour goal of 250 steps per hour :)

Archduke · 10/01/2017 09:50

I should take a pic now I suppose, I still want to loose a stone.

To that end I swam 1km this arvo! 20 lengths of our local pool . I've been trying to post a photo of a lovely sunny outdoor pool to make you all seethe but it won't work.

On a less glam note I have eaten bean salad for the last 3 meals and I'm now producing the, erm, after effects. Am trying to blame it on the puppy.

Oh ffs stupid app. Sorry for multi post

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 10/01/2017 10:01

Morning! Fast day yesterday means I have shed...drumroll...a quarter of a pound. 0.25lb. FFS. What is the point in putting yourself through a fast if it doesn't flipping work? Total loss in 6 days = 3lb. That doesn't sound so bad, but it would be nice to see an instant result from not eating.

Pink, I Shredded this morning and it was so so hard! Not sure whether Shredding in the morning after a fast day is a good idea - I felt really weak and pathetic.

Archduke · 10/01/2017 10:12

3lb in 6 days is amazing cheddar!
