Happy New Year Slenderistas.

Let's move away from the Christmas bugger and ditch Linda for good.

I am +1lb today....booooooo! Gutted, but not surprised!

However I was good yesterday and all set for a good day today!

Well done ladies for fantastic losses this morning!

BeyondTheStarryNight · 09/01/2017 10:50

I stayed the same. Dinner at parents again today and tomorrow - they are going away so need to use up food. I think I'll be okay so long as I don't snack today. Undecided whether to skip lunch and be hungry when I get there or have some and potentially still go over. Hmm...

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 09/01/2017 12:27

Grin atBOOP

Started Wed 4th Jan at 11 stone 7.25, currently 11 stone 4.5, so 2.75 lindas down, and it hasn't been a full week yet! Fast day today, so hopefully that will knock off snore more podge.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 09/01/2017 12:27

Some! Not snore!

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 09/01/2017 12:34

I saw that thread about the overweight husband too and it prompted me to work out DH's BMI. His is 31.8. I broke it to him this morning and he seemed pretty stunned. He is doing 5:2 with me but has been snacking a lot on his normal days so he's only lost half a pound so far. I am hoping this gives him a bit of a boot up the arse!

I'm now down 3lb12oz over the week which I'm very pleased about. I have been weighing daily and going up and down a bit so I think I'll limit that to once or twice a week to not get demoralised.

Well done everyone!

BitOutOfPractice · 09/01/2017 12:47

Hello KOKO and welcome. Good luck with getting back into the groove

Wow, everyone is doing so well! Bloody heroes! Commiserations to you though Hairspray, keep plugging away and it'll come off, honest to Murgatroyd Flowers

BOOP I love your beef sneaking into a thread about an overweight husband Grin

Welcome to all the new faces too, and welcome back Mountain!

My resolve is being severely tested by the horrid cold drizzle outside...

00100001 · 09/01/2017 13:12

2lbs so far!

QuimReaper · 09/01/2017 13:26

Ah, I didn't know you were with us Binary! Welcome and well done!

BitOutOfPractice · 09/01/2017 13:27

It was magnificent beef quim and deserved a wider audience I felt Confused

Is that the thread which has now been deleted?

I am soooo jealous, I cannot wait until I have a kitchen again!

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 09/01/2017 13:46

Well done everyone who managed to lose over the weekend, that is serious dedication!

I'm having a fast day today, planning a nice stir-fry for dinner. I feel like I could do with a bit of a vitamin injection so I am going to just throw in masses of vegetables and hope it tastes ok!

00100001 · 09/01/2017 14:58

I will be be doing Monday Morning weigh-ins.

00100001 · 09/01/2017 15:00

I'm 5'7" and weigh 82.5kg

Ideal target: 72.5kg (72.7 is top end of healthy BMI)

BitOutOfPractice · 09/01/2017 15:43

It was called "overweight partner. He obviously doesn't care" in Relationships. It's still there. Interesting thread actually

Cor Binary Monday morning weigh-in is brave, that's when I'm at my heaviest! Well, Sunday night probably is, but you know what I mean Grin

Ah, will check it out BOOP - there was something in Active about husband revealing himself to be a pig or something but by the time I clicked it it had been zapped. Wondered if your beef had made it kick off Wink

I haven't really eaten anything at all yet today. Made a load of pasta salad for DH and tried a couple of pieces to check it was done and nibbled some feta, but haven't actually formally eaten. Very pleased, I'm wondering how much longer before hunger hits!

That said I haven't done anything either. It's so cold and rainy I just can't bear to. My step count for the day is an embarrassment.

00100001 · 09/01/2017 18:50

Quim Grin

I forget to do it any other time!

KikisDeliveryService · 09/01/2017 18:52

Good grief that looks delicious boop. Mind you, I'm on a fast day so I'm not a hard audience to impress right now!

Monday morning as only weigh in?! Jeepers binary that's sadistic hardcore. Or is it in an effort to keep on straight and narrow over the weekend? Perhaps you're on to something...

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 09/01/2017 19:24

Fast day here too!

I have eaten hm bolognese sauce on a bed of stir-fry veg. It was a slightly odd combination, but probably about 400 calories so I'm happy. I've also had 2 cups of tea with milk and will have another in a minute when DD is in bed. Today was quite busy and so so much easier than my first fast!

Somanyillustrations · 09/01/2017 19:45

Weighed in tonight at 10st 5.5lb, so 4.5lb down from last week. Was 10st5 when I weighed mid week, so have eithe put on 0.5lb, or my home scales are dodgy.

Going to try to avoid home weighing now as it sets my sights too high! Came home starving a scoffed a crunchie and a couple of roses chocs Blush

Chicken and puy lentil salad now, then planning a fast day tomorrow.

Want to get at least 2lb of this week, and second week often results in a plateau for me.

KOKO as a general rule I would say to not eat back your exercise calories. Unless you're starving, obviously!

Pinkvici22 · 09/01/2017 20:35

Hi all

3lbs down from last week!

I'm on a fast day too - also using MFP with Fitbit. I'm trying to do 30 DS as well - started 1st Jan and have managed 6 days so far.

Great to hear about your losses!
