Happy New Year Slenderistas.

Let's move away from the Christmas bugger and ditch Linda for good.

No snacking today but just eaten so very much roast chicken dinner I am fit to explode. All primed for my fast day tomorrow! No official weigh in until after my second fast day next week. A Monday morning weigh in would not be kind to me but hoping it'll send my body back into maximum burn off the calories mode.

ArseyTussle · 08/01/2017 19:38

How weird, we're watching Kiki's Delivery Service right now! Smile

BitOutOfPractice · 08/01/2017 19:55

Oh squiffy bloody well done on hauling yourself back on track. I think that is a real achievement. A change in your mindset.

I too have hauled my arse back onto the wagon. Just out of the gym and at BF's for Hairy Dieters' pot roast beef and roast vegetables. I am starving and it smells extremely good.

Think we might have found an almost acceptable non-alcoholic beer. It's brew dog Nanny State and it does taste like an ale. And only 26 calories for 330ml

The gym was very busy indeed. Especially the spa bit where we always meet for a post workout chin wag

Today wasn't quite successful, but could be worse. Actually looking forward to being good all week though :)

ponygirlcurtis · 08/01/2017 20:14

I went for a decent walk this morning before the kids came home, and spent the afternoon prepping meals for the week ahead - made my first Joe Wicks recipe, turkey meatballs with feta. Looking forward to having it for lunch tomorrow. Between lunch and dinner I am around 900cals so I will be able to have some popcorn while I watch Sherlock. Smile

Hi all,

new to the tread but desperately need to get my self into gear. After having my first little boy in the summer and surviving the first few months of breastfeeding on chocolate and ice cream I'm 2st up on pre baby weight .

Going back to work in a few months so really hoping to fit into a few of my old work clothes by then.

See that a lot of people like the Hairy Dieters book. However there seems to be a few to choose on Amazon. Which one would people recommend?

Thanks Smile

Hi all

I'm starting my diet in the morning now all the xmas food and drink is gone. I'm already being strong. I had a bad day with lo and really wanted a big glass of wine but I didn't buy any :) I'm hoping bare cupboards (well of junk anyway) will keep me on track

KikisDeliveryService · 08/01/2017 22:23

Haha! Good choice arsey

Archduke · 08/01/2017 22:44

G'day cobbers

Good to see such virtue on this thread. Welcome Spudmummy congratulations on your lo, and welcome lauryloo.

I had a good weekend, although went slightly off piste yesterday; the kids make a choc chip cake which I had to try (which was surprisingly quite nice even though it looked like they had vomited it up), I managed a fair amount of exercise so should have walked it off.

Today am planning a walk with the dogs and a c25k run later on. Much cooler here today after Saturday's high of 40 degrees thank GOD.

BitOutOfPractice · 08/01/2017 23:15

Oh lord! I've posted a picture of my dinner somewhere. I thought it was here. Apparently not!! I hope it's not in an inappropriate place! Shock

Hahahaha so funny BOOP.

Squiffy01 · 09/01/2017 06:20

3.7 off for me this morning Smile was hoping for slightly more for the first week as that's always the biggest lost but I'll take it!
I've got a dinner out on Saturday but apart from that nothing to put me off my healthy eating this week (hopefully).

lastqueenofscotland · 09/01/2017 07:10

144 today! Another lb down. Suddenly going through the fast stage.

At a training course all day with no food provided so got a big salad to take with me. Provided I can get there with the tube strike...

ArseyTussle · 09/01/2017 07:16

Ooh! 3.5 lb off for me today! Hoorah! I think that only leaves me 60 to go. Grin

SorrelSoup · 09/01/2017 07:28

Howlongtillbedtime · 09/01/2017 07:48

Good morning all !

3 pounds off which is less than I hoped last week but that was before I ate the richest Christmas cake ever Blush

Well done everyone else . brilliant losses here .

Somanyillustrations · 09/01/2017 08:09

Weigh in tonight at slimming world, so will update then

Well done on all the losses so far!

KikisDeliveryService · 09/01/2017 08:10

Monday morning losses! Amazing! I have done an unofficial weigh in just to strengthen my fast day resolve. I also realise that I need to not drink at all in the week and less at the weekend so will be adding wine to the no list for this week.

HairsprayBabe · 09/01/2017 08:11

12.7 this is trash, was good yesterday as well and now I am back at my start of the month weigh in! WTAF is happening! Angry

KikisDeliveryService · 09/01/2017 08:11

boop that's hilarious! You've cheered up a depressing Monday morning for me, thank you Grin

BitOutOfPractice · 09/01/2017 08:15

Oh no hairspray Sad sometimes there's just no rhyme or reason to it.

Glad to be of service Kiki! I just couldn't find it last night. I've reported myself! Grin
